- Hi, everyone, I wanted to show you this beautiful medieval French village on the French Riviera, Roquebrune village with its magnificent old Castle on the hilltop overlooks the French Riviera's coastline. It's nested between Monaco and Menton, so if you are looking what to do and visit around this area hope you will be interested to watch this video of the South of France.
We are Michael & Loretta from Florida. Because of this site, we have rented an apartment in Menton from mid May till June for 3 weeks. Hope to see you in town. We love your videos!❤

Hello. I'm a 71 yo Grannie from South Australia. Like you, I will never see these wonderful places in person. Here in South Aussie our oldest possible building had to be after we were founded in 1836.
So, I get myself inspired to create beautiful France in my own home and garden.

I've often been to Roquebrune Cap Martin and dined at Le Deux Freres restaurant. It's such a quaint village, and the views are exquisite.

We visited and stayed in this village 10 years ago. Thank you for visiting. It is certainly beautiful. We walked up from the lower part of town. 500 steps, it was never ending but certainly worth it. Spectacular!!! What views! There is nothing prettier than France in the Spring time. The medieval villages are especially gorgeous with the sun shining on the narrow cobbled streets, rock houses, and unique architecture. I love hanging flowers everywhere.
The village wall with all the coloured ears was very amusing but you're right, it was a little bit weird too. I imagine there are some people not familiar with the idiom who would be confused by this art installation. LOL!
The castle/museum was too cool. It was like a time capsule. It's rare to see such an old building in its original state - what a treasure!

Great tour! I will be in France (traveling from Florida, U.S.) next month, but only traveling as far east as Monaco. Will have to return again to see this some day! Do you have any recommendations for places to stay near Antibes with easy access to train, so we can use the "French Riviera Pass"? Not here in Brazil, when someone wants to tell us a secret, and the place is not more appropriate, people say: "Be careful, the walls are dark." What do people do for work in villages like this? I am loving these videos but my American brain keeps looking for banks and office buildings and retail stores in the videos thinking that must be where people work lol.
