I must say l completely agree with you on this one,what a monster truck,Toyota does not produce one like that here in the USA,but for 9M,I expect it to work for me,not me pushing the gears and make my left foot work,I’ll drive manual on rear wheel drive sport car on a twisty road but not on a workhorse like this LC, but you can’t go wrong on this truck!
Import Taxes are a bit high here in the Philippines sir, thats what causes the price to go up..

Back then when the LC70s were manufactured in 80s to 96 most were powered by 1HZ 4.2 straight 6 naturally aspirated diesel and also 1HD-T turbo diesel (also available in the 5 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel version in the 80s the PZJ70 chassis model which is powered by the 1PZ and then 4 cylinders in different engine models, 1KD (KDJ70), 2L, 3L 5L. (LJ70). Then when it was reproduced by Toyota in late 2000s it was also offered in 4.5 liter 1VD-FTV turbo diesel V8 (single turbo for the 70 series, twin turbo for the 200 series).
