Sturgeon are very cool fish, I've had 2 in my pond for 2 years now. I lost one on a really hot day a few years back, since then I've added more shade and additional aeration, so all is well now. From my experience its when the water temp goes above 25-26C they struggle but thats a very rare occurrence in the UK.

Hi Mike,
They need plenty of oxygen and they don't like thunder storm I have kept them in the past and lost them to thunder storm because storm srip the oxygen out of the water mate.

Starlet sturgeon only get 2 foot long. all other type of sturgeon get huge albino or not
