I drove 2.5 hours to see Anora, and then a half an hour further to see Juror #2 right after that. It was such a fun double feature. Great feeling to see 2 top 10 movies on one night
i'm in france, i watched both yesterday, it only took me 15 mins to go to the cinema and the movie is playe in 6 cinemas in and around my city.... it's weird its only in 50 theaters in the whole USA
Anora, doesn't get a wide release for a few more wks.And yes Mikey Madison will get at least a golden globe nom,I'm really hoping for an Oscar nom,but that unfortunately may not happen.
Looks like 'Juror No. 2' got much better distribution in the UK than in the US, which is rather odd. And it's a shame too because it's a really strong film - I hope more people see it.
Incredible cliffhangers, with just the right amount of twists and turns. Just enough emotional connections with moral quandaries. Love the open-ended solid film.
Your review has me interested in this movie - to be honest I never even noticed it but you.have put it on my radar and feel i should see in the theater next weekend -- thank you sir!!
I've not been gripped by a movie like that since watching La Haine and was clock watching for the last act wondering how it would unfold. Real fist in mouth viewing right till the very end. 10 out of10
Thanks for your review, Austin 💜 I haven't watched it yet. I love a "what would you do" type of movie. I love courtroom dramas. My favorite Clint Eastwood movie is A Million Dollar Baby.
Unbelievable that Warner Bros is burying this movie to the ground by giving a limited release given Clint Eastwood's history with the studio. Does David Zaslav know how much Warner Bros means to Clint?? Two of his Best Picture winning movies were literally produced by WB, how the hell they messed up the release??? 🤦
Drove an hour to see it, worth it. Shame on WB for limiting this release, it makes zero sense to me. Not many big movies out, Clint’s last film, just why?
ABSOLUTELY CHECK OUT ANORA. It was fantastic, I doubt you’d regret it at all. Hilarious, practically a screwball comedy and also such a riveting gut punch. Glad you enjoyed Juror #2, can’t wait to check it out!!
If this really is Clint Eastwood's final movie before retiring as a director, then congratulations to Clint for ending his career in a solid high note. Good job to him 🤗
I am perplexed they aren't releasing this wide. I would have gone to see it. I ain't driving to New York City to do so, though. Guess I'll catch it when it comes to MAX.
I'm so tired of seeing interesting films that pique my interest but the rollout is so miniscule or slow that they don't ever come to my area (and I live in the second largest city in Michigan btw - we have 7 multi-screen theaters here, so it's not like I live in BFE). It's SO frustrating because these are films I would pay to see.... but I'm not driving 3+ hours to see it. Which is usually what it would take in a lot of these situations. I don't get WHY studios are spending all this money to produce a movie just to not even market it to an audience.
This is the kind of movie my parents would leave the house to see, but they wouldn't drive over 90 minutes for any film. I think it will make my top 10, but it could squeeze into my top 20. Will see. Holt was amazing.
Austin how was the actor Gabriel Basso who’s the guy they think did the crime to his girlfriend in the movie? He’s in one of my recent favorite shows The Night Agent as the lead. I recommend everyone go watch that show.👍
I’m curious to hear if, while watching Juror#2, you saw any comparison with Nicholas Hoult to a 90’s era Tom Cruise from The Firm and A Few Good Men era? While watching the trailer of this film, that’s the first thing that came to mind, when seeing Nicholas and hearing his line delivery in the trailer.
I thought most of the characters were underdeveloped..This felt like such a TV film. Nicholas Hoult was excellent as always as was Toni Colette and Chris Messina imo. GREAT idea but JK simmons andkiefer Sutherland were barely in it. And the film lags with sam scenes over and over.. Enjoyable but disappointing.
Really good movie, so great to see a good movie with great actors, with cgi BS horrible acting like red one, or just a bad horror movie like heretic that just missed its mark everywhere. This is just good solid movie making. Figures its only playing at 50 theaters. Hollywood doesn't want you to see what a real movie is like, unlike the garbage they have been putting out.

Go see ANORA
@@RobertParks-h7r She is the front runner at the moment to win the Oscar. She will 100 percent at least get the Oscar nomination.

Awesome!
I can't wait to watch this one! Hoult is always great.

I’m hoping this will come to my area. I would love to see it
I’m from Malaysia, really sad I can’t see that last Clint Eastwood film on the big screen. Damn you Warner Brosssssss

@Art_The_Clownnn Who are you? Why should I care? Speak english kiddo 🤷
@Fl0k5ser sok inggris lu .. lu pikir gw gatau lu sering komen di ngelantur sama cine crib
I missed these legal thriller-esque movies, I wish we get more. But I also get that we kinda overdid it with the genre (recently in the early 2000's).
I really enjoyed it. I think Clint is underrated asf as a director imo. Hes made some great films. My favorite still is mystic river.
Drove an hour to see it, worth it. Shame on WB for limiting this release, it makes zero sense to me. Not many big movies out, Clint’s last film, just why?
Love me a good legal thriller! Review has got me pumped! 👍🏻❤🎬
Watched Anora and Juror #2 back to back....I preferred Juror #2 and Anora was top 3 anticipated of the year
Wow!
ABSOLUTELY CHECK OUT ANORA. It was fantastic, I doubt you’d regret it at all. Hilarious, practically a screwball comedy and also such a riveting gut punch. Glad you enjoyed Juror #2, can’t wait to check it out!!
You will be so happy you drove to see Anora. EXCELLENT film!
Review tomorrow 💪🏻
Thanks for your review! I can't find it in any theater near Indianapolis. Where did you see it? Might be worth the drive for me.
I would love to see this, However, it is only playing in Boston for the Massachusetts area... So hopefully it gets a wider release after the results
If this really is Clint Eastwood's final movie before retiring as a director, then congratulations to Clint for ending his career in a solid high note. Good job to him 🤗
Go see Anora. Saw it yesterday and it is a strong film. Acting is great and that ending...
Yes, review Anora!
I am perplexed they aren't releasing this wide. I would have gone to see it. I ain't driving to New York City to do so, though. Guess I'll catch it when it comes to MAX.
Great watch! I just don't get why they didn't question the ex-cop on what he uncovered.
bring back the old scoring system man. i loved the categories
Clint Eastwood deserves an Oscar for his whole career and I'm so excited to see Juror #2, man, what a legend!
He already has 4 Oscars won by merit, not by pity.
@NiPeMiRecenziiFilme I'm not being disrespectful to Mr Eastwood and I'm just saying he needs one final recognition

Saw it....and its very good...best since american sniper and jewell
I refuse to watch it on streaming before I watch it in theaters, and there’s still isn’t a release date in my home country.
Hey Austin, when are you reviewing Conclave? Saw it on your Letterboxd list...
This movie was amazing and the girl is to blame for walking in the rain
This is the kind of movie my parents would leave the house to see, but they wouldn't drive over 90 minutes for any film. I think it will make my top 10, but it could squeeze into my top 20. Will see. Holt was amazing.
pleaseee review anora. i need to know if it's worth the 3 hour trip or 2 month wait to watch it
Watching Austin to pass the time during Election Night. I do want to see this but I don't think it is playing anywhere in my area.
Where do I have to go see this movie??? I live in Nashville and I can't find it anywhere near me
Austin how was the actor Gabriel Basso who’s the guy they think did the crime to his girlfriend in the movie? He’s in one of my recent favorite shows The Night Agent as the lead. I recommend everyone go watch that show.👍
Solid! Probably not in it enough to get excited about but good when on screen.
@ good to hear
Zaslav has repeatedly said that WB wastes money on Eastwood films. This is him twisting the knife deeper
Absolutely
But what about Juror #1?
I’m curious to hear if, while watching Juror#2, you saw any comparison with Nicholas Hoult to a 90’s era Tom Cruise from The Firm and A Few Good Men era? While watching the trailer of this film, that’s the first thing that came to mind, when seeing Nicholas and hearing his line delivery in the trailer.
Did you know WB originally wanted This to be a streaming movie, funny huh…
Austin, please bring back the score breakdown, it was so much easier. Nobody cares about the complaints.
Review Anora please

Fair!
We saw different movies, lol.
I was embarrassed for everyone involved.
I pray Eastwood has something else in him
This is Great Film !! Better than Richard Jewell
Agreed
Do see anora
So, what happened to Juror #1?!
Guilty!
Really good movie, so great to see a good movie with great actors, with cgi BS horrible acting like red one, or just a bad horror movie like heretic that just missed its mark everywhere. AMC IS NOT PLAYING IT LONG ENOUGH. One week.
