      @@KRISHNAsFOODTravel Buddha's English translation a bit sketchy. He is not a god or lord. He is One of the great philosophers who lived in tha past. Also buddhism is not a religion. It is actually a vision. Nobody is forced to follow buddhism. Buddhism is all about finding the true meaning of life. love you hon. ❤️

      Portugese renamed it during their attempt to christianize the island, and the western powers kept the name which overtime resulted in the Abrahamic’s being convinced. However if you factor in forbidden history/archeology kept occult by the church, and consider that Sri Pada was a spaceport in the pre-younger dryas impact period (before 10,000BCE) which was used by the precursors we now call Gods (Deva/Olympians) when they had dominion, then there is some truth to it. However making the mountain unique to just Adam (Apsū) as the Abrahamic institutions have long been attempting to do in their moves to annex the island is incorrect as many beings have passed through this ancient space port, which included Vishnu (Upalavan/Michael), and Buddha (Gautama). An example of Christian bullshitting is their renaming of RamaSetu as ‘Adams Bridge’... Adam lived prior to the Younger Dryas Impact (10,000BCE) which caused mass flooding that rose global sea levels by 400’. Rama who built the bridge lived after the Younger Dryas Impact and was from the Sindhu-Saraswati civilization of the Indian subcontinent (8,000BCE-2,000BCE) then known as the Maha Bharat. This idea that Adam who died long before the YDI walked the bridge created by Rama long after the YDI is a perfect example of the Christian Ity projecting disinformation to further confuse people and create the circumstance we are now in- a species in amnesia. When the veil that keeps us lost is lifted, then we will all know the truth.

    @ 2:06 , Images & statues of Hindu gods in Buddhist places of worship in Sri Lanka, is not that unusual. You can also find some Hindus in Sri Lanka attending church, because they worship certain Catholic saints. St Anthony of Padua is popular among all religious communities on the island. Sri Lankans like to cover all bases.

  • @NarasimhaDiyasena
    @NarasimhaDiyasena 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ended up getting lengthy but hope you enjoy. The reason why you see Hindu Gods and Buddha together is for a variety of reasons. The Precursors we now call Gods (Masters) that make up the Indo-European pantheons embraced Buddhism when the Gautama Buddha delivered the Kalachakra to King Suchandra of Shambhala and 96 other Kings of Agartha who already practiced Sanatan Dharma. While Sanatan is a 4th density Consciousness, Therevada Buddhism is an expansion of that which allows one to become an Arhat and progress to Vajrayana Buddhism which is a 5th density Consciousness. Buddha is the 5th density archetype.
    Furthermore the Sri Lanka was once the island of 4 Clans: Deviyo (Deva/Jotnar/Olympian), Raksha (Asura/Aesir/Titan), Naga (Naga/Vannir?/Siren), and Yaksha (Vedda Tribes). The Deviyo in particular had dominion over the island but allowed each clan to govern themselves as they pleased. However when the Naga began feuding over a powerful throne, the Deva requested the Gautama Buddha to peacefully resolve the situation so it doesn’t escalated into a Mahabharata level conflict. The result of Gautama Buddha intervening, was that he was given the throne which he then sealed shut. The occult are obsessed with this throne along with the Vel Javelin of Kartikeya (Ares) and other precursor artifacts which led the Christian Ity to try and conquest the island. As King, Buddha delivered the DasaViddha-RajaDhamma which is the 10 precepts of Kingship which was adhered to by Sinhalese Kings up until the British showed up. And as King of the Naga regions of Lanka, Buddha was in frequent communications with Sakra.
    Sakra is the King of Devas (Olympians) known by many more names, which include: Enlil/Hadad/Ba’al/Djous(Zeus)/Tinia/Jupiter/Suttungr/Perun/Atash/Indra/Sakra/Ismara/Fuxi/Jehova/Peter and more. Yes Jehovah. Jehovah is the Latinization of Jupiter who was renamed by the Catholic as Peter. The statue of Jupiter held in the Parthenon now sits upon the throne of Saint Peters Basillica at the Vatican as Peter. He is the God the Abrahamic practitioners unknowingly refer to when using masculine form. The Heavenly Father who is the Lord of Earth. The phrase Lord of Earth stemming from the Atrahasis texts of Sumeria which the Hebrews retranslated to create the Old Testament. In the Atrahasis the phrase is ‘Šatam of Eden’. Šatam (Sha-Tam) in Sumerian cuneiform translates to Sat-An in the English translation of Egyptian Hieroglyphics which was then conjoined to Satan. Šatam/Satan means Lord, referring to Royal position of Enlil, nothing more. The Christian Ity stigmatized the title into being the boogie man to hide the trail, for it is this King of many names known as both God (Master) and Satan (Lord) who is the founding father of Royal Blood.
    Queen Elizabeth for example- who is a Druid not a Christian but is Crowned in the name of God- traces her blood line to King Edward II who married Queen Isabella the daughter of King Louis IX thus becoming a branch of the French. The line of King Louis IX traces back to King Charlemagne who is the Father of Europe. The line of King Charlemagne traces back to Atia Balbus who is known more commonly as Julia, the sister of Julius Caesar. The line of Julil traces back to Iulus the High Priest who traces back to Assaracus the King of Troy. Assaracus hails from the House of Dardanus founded by Dardanus K, a son of Jupiter. Jupiter the romanized God based off of Tinia in Etruscan, a variation name of Zeus in Greek. Everything that is Rome, is Etruscan. We no everything about the Etruscans vid Rome, except for the Etruscans themselves who are saud to have came from the sea speak dialect that has zero link to proto-Indo-European found all throughout euro Asia.

    This site marks one of the places Lord Buddha visited in Sri Lanka over 2,600 years ago. The footprint left here is a significant reminder of that visit and is sacred to Lord Buddha alone. Unfortunately, some people spread false stories to mislead others and create divisions. However, we have solid evidence to support the truth. This is our country’s heritage, and no one from outside has the right to claim it. Just as we respect the heritage of other nations, we expect the same respect for our own.

    Most of Buddhist Temples in srilanka you can see Hindu shrins. That because some srilankan kings got married from India. So they allow Queens and Princess to practise there beliefs along with Buddhist traditions.
    Also lord Buddha isn't a God. Buddha hood is way above gods.so people need gods to ask favours from them in there missory & there happiness. Buddhism isn't a religion. It's a very advance philosophy. You need brains to understand a difficult philosophy. Buddhism has no rules & regulations to scare the believer's. SRIPADA (FOOT PRINT ) HAS BEEN WORSHIPPED BY SRILANKANS 1000 OF YEARS. BUT AFTER BRITISH ARRIVED IN SRILANKA FOR EACY PRONUNCIATION THEY CALLED IT ADAMS PEAK .& THEN MUSLIMS AND HINDUS OF SRILANKA START TO CLIMB SRIPADA. AND THEY WERE ALLOWED TO CALL THE PEAK AS THEY WISH . BECAUSE BUDDHIST S ARE VERY TOLERANT. IMMAGIN IF THIS WAS IN HINDU INDIA AND OTHER RELIGIONS TRY TO RENAME AS THEY WANT THERE WILL BE A WAR AMONG ALL😂
    HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND
    HOW AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PHILOSOPHY LORD BUDDHA HAS GIVEN TO MANKIND. UNFORTUNATELY MAJORITY OF PEOPLE IN INDIA DID NOT UNDERSTAND OR PRACTICE BUDDHISM. BECAUSE IT TREATS EVERYBODY EQUAL.
    NO CAST OR CREED SYSTEMS ALLOWED.
    Did you noticed once you climb up you will see only a Buddhist Temple and Buddhist ceremonies. & also many Buddhist monks preaching and chanting pirith. In general all Srilankans go to Hindu Temples , Christian churches. And BUDHIDST TEMPELS. BUT NOT TO MOSQUE. BECAUSE THEY DON'T WELCOME OTHER FAITH IN THERE WORSHIP PLACE'S.
    😂😂

    Nothing to laugh at. It is what it is. Cultural thing. Some kings in Sri Lanka got married with Indian Hindu princesses. queens used to live here with their relatives. Kings were Buddhist and queens were Hindus. They prayed together and as a result of Indian Hindu influence to the Buddhism you can see Hindu gods and goddess in every buddhist temples. (Actually the Lord buddha is also from India and he who rejected those myths regarding gods and said that your mind set is the karma. No one can save you when you done wrong) There are several positions ( we called muddra) in relation to Lord Buddha like meditation position, explaining etc. This is the death position. ( Maha parinirwana) The statue which covers the lord Buddha’s face is being constructed and it will unveil when it finishes.

  • @kc4276

    1:54 onwards - That's a totally incorrect belief. Buddhists and Hindus are not two different people, and it is absolutely not uncommon to find Hindu deities at Buddhist sites. Pay a visit to Thailand next time to see how much the Thai Buddhists revere Hindu deities. Hindus and Buddhists have often had theological/philosophical disputes, but there is a lot of respect between the two 'religions' (in reality, dharma or panth). Buddha was born a Hindu, after all (a Kshatriya prince), and Buddhist philosophy did not emerge in a vaccum.
    The difference between the two is mainly seen in India, where Buddhism (or Neo-Buddhism) is a socio-political movement as much as it is a religious movement (tied closely with the 'Ambedkarites').
    The comparison that you made between Christians and Buddhists is way out of line.

    You know what thats really funny to me too when gods' s pictures are in buddhist temples..
    Do you know why is that? Because Hindus from india lived with Sri Lankans.. The people who believe in god who are buddhist made this thing happen. they 'd mixed two cultures.
    And its still going.. In ancient times sri lanka and South India were on a war once they have captured part of sri lanka and once sri lankans captured a part of india, because of those things those two nations lived together and they mixed it..

  • @serendibisle
    @serendibisle 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    There are a few factual inaccuracies - simple because of simple assumptions you seem to make. Life is a journey of learning, so I hope you would take this in good spirit.
    1. Why do you find Hindu Gods in Buddhist Temples?
    As you might know, Buddhism is not a religion, it is a tolerant philosophy; what Lord Buddha explained to the masses is simply the universal theory of existence (Dhamma). During the days of "Polonnaruwa" Kingdom (second era of reign, in Sri Lanka's recorded history), there was major influence from Hinduism. The result is integration (of Hindu beliefs and Gods in to Buddhism) and exclusion (ie. removal of the cow from the moonstone), so that there is mutual respect for one another. After the Colonial Rulers pretty much wiped out Buddhism from Sri Lanka, Sri Saranankara Thero (during the Kandyan Era) took the influence of "tangible practices" such as offering flowers, lighting lamps etc from Hinduism to rejuvenate Buddhism. There onwards, Buddhism took the form of a practising religion, more than a philosophy and a way of life.
    2. "Why are people awake when Buddha is sleeping"?
    It is not Buddha sleeping. One of the most significant poses of Buddha Statutes - in simple English, that's Buddha's last pose - just before ending the long journey of life in samsara and entering the eternal bliss of Nirvana.
    3. "Oh, Buddha is covering his face during chanting..."
    Nope, that too is a wrong assumption. The face is covered in a Buddha statue until the construction is completed. Only once the "eyes" of the statue are ceremoniously placed/painted, the face would be revealed.
    Please don't assume or generalise - each culture is different. And each religion is practiced in a different way in every culture.. Having an open mind is the best way to learn about one another.
    Enjoy your stay in beautiful Sri Lanka - and thank you for visiting this little island where every religion, every belief is equally respected.
