I pray Newburgh will be restored just like Beacon. I used to live in Newburgh for a year and half 2011-2012...I really enjoyed the waterfront. I live in Poughkeepsie now and money is really being pumped into the city things are starting to look good. My father takes the ferry home from Beacon to Newburgh every evening from work. Anyway these are my last few months as I will be moving out of the Hudson Valley but at least I can still come visit since my parents will still be here ❤️
There seems to be a lot of artists moving to Newburgh now, trying to escape the insane rents in NYC. So that is a good sign - people who make art are often creative in other areas as well.
This is why: the demolition companies took in big money and paid big 'kick backs' for those contracts. The 'official story' is that there were plans and a budget to rebuild the city into something more modern, but no one has ever seen the plans nor traced the missing funds.

What a beautiful piece and wonderful photos.
So many great pictures demonstrating "pride of place". We were a better people once!
Thank you for bringing William's music to life!

I pray one day too! We will change!, for the better .
Newburgh is changing for the better. I see it everywhere I look, more people buying houses and renovating them.

Thank you! My family lived on this street
Hi casidy
Excellent!
Why would you knock down all that beautiful architecture?

So NY mafia
Beautiful images. Seems like being in London. Unfortunatley in the States they destroyed almost all old buildings. U.S cities nowadays have no soul
