It's hovering around 12°c here in the UK and by January, it'll be around -6°c where.I am.. which is the warmest part of the UK (Cornwall). The islands of our county's coastline have a sub-tropical climate and here, we grow palms and cactus and eucalyptus trees... 😊

Most of the things I like most about fall stem from childhood memories: Halloween, jumping into piles of raked leaves, Thanksgiving, and the change of season. I love the cooler nights because it helps me sleep so much better.
Everything that I love about Fall is so interconnected! The brisk 60’s/70’s temps, wearing sweaters, colored leaves on the trees, leaf piles to jump into…….ahhhhhh. I'm actually so glad that you showed the entire process including the blending and how long the blending actually takes because a lot of people don't show this and it's important to know this. I'm learning all of my makeup tips for makeup artists including yourself on TH-cam and for the longest time my blush wasn't coming out right because I wasn't blending it enough yet I didn't know this because all of that stuff was cut out of most of the videos that I watched. Just FYI, I have dry skin and I didn’t love how this LYS foundation looked on my skin. It looked very heavy. I’m not giving up on it but so far I’ve tried it 2 different ways and no luck. So if you have dry skin, be cautious!😊
I love a fall for all the warmth of snuggly sweaters, hot cocoa, even the way the sun casts different shadows than summer. Love you Fall look. At 78 I probably wouldn’t do so much dramatic, but still, I’m thinking about trying the eye shadows you used.

Nikki, Thank you for all your fantastic content. I truly appreciate your commitment to women being beautiful. I am 58 years old and your content has been helpful to me as I transition into a different phase of life with regard to self care. I work for a non-profit in an executive capacity, the expectation is that I will dress and look professional, and though makeup is not a must I do feel much more put together with a slightly enhanced natural look. I have never seen myself as someone who could pull off BRIGHT eyeshadows or not natural colored anything related to makeup. That said I do have this combination skin with a very oily t-zone in the summer. We live in NC and the humidity is terrible in the summer. I am looking forward to a few weeks from now when the weather will moderate some and hopefully my skin will skew more toward normal. My budget is more drugstore than high end. I am having a terrible time figuring out what foundation my face won't completely absorb between the hours of 7am-5pm. I have purchased about 1/3 of what our Walmart has to offer. I have combined different brands of primer and foundation, styles of foundation, skin care and it will work a few times and then we are back to a greasy mess and mascara by 5pm. Interesting that any mascara I choose will last but nothing else will. I have also consulted ChatGPT for options and those haven't been successful either. That was a failed experiment. I am close to not wearing anything at all and washing my face several times a day at work. It almost feels like I am in my teen years again only my entire face was oily. I would think with the amount of water I consume in a day (about 2 gallons) and I watch what I eat, that this would not be an issue, yet here we are. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.

My favorite part of Fall is the beautiful Fall leaves - reds, golds, oranges. The maple trees in particular have all the vibrant colors! God’s work!

I, too, really like fall. Here in the eastern PA the leaves are just starting to change. Glad you're reviewing the Lys foundation. I just bought last week and it's working nicely. Especially great for travel if you're you're doing long weekend and arriving on luggage.
