What part of AZ are you from man? Wife and I are waiting on a 23 ZR2 to be built here in a month or two in Phoenix, plan on overland building it like yours. Dying to go offroading and camping with it.
Love the content man. Tomorrow's my birthday I'm going to my dealer and ordered me a radiant Red trail Boss spec out just the way I want I'm so excited
I don’t understand the fascination with trying to fit huge tires on a Colorado. I’ve gone everywhere on my 22 ZR2 with the stock 31” tires. I just got a 24 ZR2 with 33” tires & that’s more than I’ll ever need. 35” tires is honestly pretty ridiculous specially if you don’t have a lift, fender flares or haven’t regeared.
That’s the most you’ll ever need , I need 35s for the trails I be doin lately! You don’t need to Regear for these new trucks , the Zr2 bison come stock with 35s !
@@Downtimelost nice I'm in queen creek. I have a 2023 ZR2 that I'm setting up for overlanding. I also have a 1in leveling kit i want to get installed. The dealer wanted 500 to 700 and that's without the 175 for a alignment. Either going to do it myself or wait until my buddy has time. I really want 35 12.50's on this truck.
@@Downtimelost sorry man I don't have any social media but would love to hit some trials. Need to figure out another way to get into contact. I also need to find some open prerunner trails to stretch this things legs at some point. I mostly known where the rock crawling trails are.
Happy Birthday tomorrow!! Iv been thinking about it but the front fit perfect ! Rear is the problem lol I don’t air down much but these falken rts are literally 2 inches thick lol
I imagine AEV will sell after market fender flares like they do for the second gen. That actually required a bit of trimming of the pinch weld to prevent 35’s from rubbing. I also did read that the Bison that is coming on 35’s has a bit of trimming at the factory. I guess once those start rolling out to customers we will see where they trimmed.
Couldn't stand those front size mud flaps on my Z71, so I took them off and fit some trim plugs into the holes temporarily. I have some Method 316 17's on the way. Right now looking at doing 285/75's of some flavor with the CCE 2/1 lift and 1.5" Borne wheel spacers.
I originally thought this was going to be a wheel bearing horror video. I had 4 rangers back when they were good and had the German 4.0 engines. They were all lifted 4" in the rear and 5" in the front with 35 BFG mud terrains. I ALWAYS ALWAYS used the same size rim factory size and offset. Not one ever tore up wheel bearings. Granted some F 150 ate them when I used a 10" wide offset wheel. You don't seem to have that problem, Chevy wheel openings are always too squared out. Looks like you need a lift kit or a BAJA style fender. Good luck! Sorry for the damage...
Happy Birthday! You’ve got the right attitude towards the truck. And you use the sh$t out of it. Good for you. Were 😅you in 4 low? Have you tried terrain mode? Might keep you from rolling backwards.
I just woke up and these burgers on the grill have jumpstarted my metabolism for the morning! I know what I'm eating for lunch! lol Sorry about the damage, I genuinely wonder if the TB trim would have given you any extra space. I have a TB, but I'm not brave enough for 35's yet...
Good video! Maybe a little bit late, Happy Birthday! 🥰🥰
Thank you guys !!! ❤️
I love your rig !
Thanks dawg!
I love that turbo whistle
I Love it to ! I need that blow off valve next !

Congratulations!! That is a bad ass birthday gift ! Your gonna love it ! 🔥🍻 and thank you for the support I deeply appreciate it! ❤️
Just bought the radiant red zr2. Can't wait to test it out.
What’s the biggest you could go on 2 inches without this happening?
I would say 34x12.5 but all depends on offset from 0 to -12 offset !

Thank you ❤️❤️🤙
Anyone with eye balls and a brain could see that having zero room from tire to well isn't a good idea.
lol I know last minute trip for my bday I didn’t get time to throw my lift on 😂
Damn square wheel wells. Only thing i dont like about GM trucks.
Thankfully there not super square like the old gens lol !
Happy Birthday! Love the truck and the 35's. I'll go with a 4" lift. Thanks for the info.
Thank you boss thank you ! ❤️ definitely need more lift than 2 inches lol
HBD dude. Looks like a nice present from Sedona to you lol..
Yes I agree ! It was the best present I could ask for ! 😂
Love the setup! Would love to caleb on the next adventure.
Thank u 🙏 That would be awesome ! I’m down !
That iMovie sound went crazy 🤪🤪😂
U gotta love it 😘
Orange peel paint or some sort of coating on the rocker panels?
Nah Chevy dose that texture near the rocker panel to protect the cab corners from chips and what not ! 👍
Happy Birthday! Looking foward to seeing the fix for the mudflap.
Thank you thank you ! 🤙I’m definitely removing the mud flap for the future!
What bedrack are you using? Thx!
Dv8 off-road rack !
I think you need another 2 or 3 inch lift, those tires are eating your truck!
😂😂 I trimmed a bunch off so she ain’t eating much more lol

Off in time 😭
@@Downtimelost Thanks man, I'm sure the fix for your truck won't be too bad.
Happy birthday man. Hate to see that damage but you still have the best looking 3rd gen on here! Those 35s eat!
Thank you thank you 🙏 I appreciate the support so much ! ❤️ and yes ! The the 35’s eat double meat !!!!!
Eh just cut along that line on the fenders and you'll have plenty of clearance 😆can't wait to film some offroad content myself!
Oh yeah we will be chillen ! Hahah dude get it ! Ur rig is dope !
Good video! Too bad about the damage the new iceless cooler sounds interesting .

shouldnt the mud flaps be on the opposite side
It should but idk why Chevy dose that 😂

Hell yeah brother Goodmorning ! 😂 I believe if u lift your tb 2 more inches pass the factory lift you’ll be good ! 🤙
How do you like those RT’s? Are they chunking or does it just look like it in the video?
I LOVE them ! Super knobby and good for off-road but also the quietest off-road tires iv ever had 🤙 I bealive the fender well chunked it lol
😤😤 Damn why the hell did they screw the mud flaps into the side like that..smh 🤦🏼♂️
😂😂😂 no idea
