Thanks so much for your insight. I have a one question. I have a new display ad with "Maximize Clicks" and the ad says Eligible (Learning)-new strategy with 2 days left for learning. I have not set any maximum cost cost per click, however, if there are no impressions at all, the campaign is not really "learning" anything, correct? I just wanted to know if you will be seeing anything after those '2 days' they promised. If not, this should mean that the daily budget is too low, correct? I was hoping that maximize clicks would figure out an optimal bidding within my daily budget. For display ads with a specific age group (e.g., 55~64), do you have any suggestion for a big enough daily budget to get any impressions?
Hey there great question. Okay so let me ask you 3 questions. 1. What location are you targeting with your display ads 2. What's your daily budget 3. Do you have any other targeting settings chosen other than 55-64 year Olds? Example. In market audiences, affinity audiences
@@NeptuneDesign 1. US 2. 10$ for now 3. The age demographic is the only demographic setting I have chosen. I am testing out the feature and thought that the demographic was big enough. No other in-market audience or affinity audiences were chosen
@@mistysword sounds like you have everything setup correctly. Expand the age group to include 30 year old and upward (as an experiment) to see if it runs for the next 24 hours. If you still get no impressions then contact me on my website, we'll have a look at the data together.
im running youtube ad campaign on my TH-cam analytics i can see it is running my google ad overview show no results such as 0 clicks 0 views how can i fix it
Eligible and approved are more or less the same. Your ads will always Starr as eligible status, as they show to more and people eventually in a few days they will show approved. Eligible basically means Google ads sees no major problems with showing your ads to customers.
I'd rather have an add that hits the specific audience, even if it takes months to get the impressions going they are my target demographic. Google makes it difficult and wants to throw the ad anywhere so its useless.

It seems like no matter what I did my display ads where either getting no clicks or getting lots of clicks with no conversions. It always felt like Google ads was sending me traffic I didn't need. So let's look at somethings you can do. Number 1: expectations The average display ad campaign only converts about 0.99% of the time. So for every 100 clicks you get only expect about 1 conversion (even if you have the right audience.) Number 2. If you suspect Google ads is wasting you budget it probably is. Check under your ad settings in the placements sub-menu and click on see where ads showed. You'll see most of your ads are being shown on mobile games. You can disable this in your ad settings. Lastly Always underspend on your display at clicks. That way you control your budget more effectively. If it's eligible it's basically approved you should be fine. Is there any wording next to eligible? If not then you should be fine
