    For a quick mnemonic Δx = Uo^2 / 2*a
    This is somewhat useful if you are driving. You would still have to show your work for school.

    False premise. On this basis a car stops on ice as quick as tarmac.
    Frictional coefficient between the tyres and road is essential.
    This is theoretical math, not real world.

    You didn’t factor in the weight of the vehicle or the condition/quality of the brakes.

      you dont need it. we are mot trying to work out how hard the brakes are working.

      @@Gsnaidthat’s all factored into the function given for s(t) and v(t). The question could’ve asked work out a function, s(t) that takes into account a car that is 2000kg and has new ceramic brakes. Then solve a and b.
      But because the function is already given it is already taken into account.
      Try not to be a clown and think you’re being smart
