Faith Kings about 3 years ago I had surgery and my family brought me a little bouquet of fruit. Nothing super fancy at all. There was maybe 3 slices of melon that was cut into a flower shape with like a cookie cutter and only a couple of strawberries where covered in chocolate and that alone was $150. Edible Arrangements is milking people for their money 😫😫😫

@@arie9280 I highly doubt but then again I don't live in texas. You would most likely have to buy online and ship to an address. Which, the going price for 24 choc dipped strawberries (no designs, sprinkles, bouquet, wrapping, etc.) would cost about $60. Possibly more expensive on other websites/maybe $10 cheaper somewhere else.

@Mchenry squared yes it makes them sweet like the candy shops," its trade secrets " soak your strawberries in sugar water the night before you can even add rum or spirit of choice for flavor then the next day pat dry and dip

I keep having a hard time with the chocolate melting once I put them all together. Do you have this problem too ? If so, what do you recommend ?
save all that trouble and just order from ig;chicasbakeryshop !!
Maybe try keeping them in the freezer or refrigerator to keep them cold
You should put them in the fridge so that the cholate can set for 15-30 minutes before assembling the bouquet.
She said that you don't have to put them in the fridge but if your chocolate is melting, you need to.
Lucienne Diaz what kind of chocolate are you using? You may want to change brands. I buy the almond bark (Walmart brand) that does well with the harding of the chocolate but that only comes in milk chocolate and white chocolate and when I want color I’ll buy the candy melts from Micheals and that brand does well also. Just make sure your strawberries are dry before you dip them in the chocolate.

Beautiful bouquet! I have used the same chocolate, I have noticed that it hardens very quickly, but you don’t seem to have that problem. How do you melt your chocolate? Or do you add anything? How long do you melt it for to get the perfect consistency? Thank you!!
Add a table spoon of coconut oil

The trick with this chocolate is to let it cool down after you melted, melted for 30 second each time, take it out of the microwave each time and move the chocolate with a spoon, it will take like a minute and a half and after let it cool off for 10 minutes and the chocolate will get soft and ready. And if it gets hard just put it back on the microwave for 15 or 30 second again.
