For some reason all of the other uploads of this particular song can't be found. This truly is a gem in Malmsteen's line of work. Melodic, tasteful and exciting playing. Zero uninspired licks and runs like in his more recent work. Amazing tone and control of the instrument. All the things i tremendously respect Yngwie for.

yngwie has been cleaning house and removing all uploads of his works by other people. problem is a lot of his material is not available on his official channel for some reason

I went looking for this song and thought I was in an alternate universe. So weird. Can't figure out why this song seems to be disappeared.

Yeah, I was looking for videos I saw of him years ago kicking ass, couldn't find them. The video of him playing smoke on the water is still up though

@@Max.Sinister Checkout the "Priest of the unholy" live playthrough video. It's one of my favorite Yngwie videos which i always go back to if i want to be inspired.

This is my all time favorite YJM lead piece! From beginning to end it is a roller coaster ride of feel, soul, aggression, sadness!
This lead break is Untouchable in my book! His tone is just beautiful on this as well and the Holdsworthian vibe is a perfect fit! 👍

This is the best solo yngwie ever did, along with that one from "Suffer Me" with Alcatrazz imo (specially the live version from jan 84' in japan). There are a few others equally impressive but that dont touch as deep as those two..

Such a beautiful ascending repeating pattern at 2:07 - he endlessly recycled so many licks, but I'm not sure I ever heard this one again.

IF someone would have played me this as the very first thing i heard YJM play ( Steeler was the first time i heard him play)
then I would have Quit guitar that day! I am not joking! The shock would have been too much to overcome.

I don't know why Malmsteen never played in different music modes more. Every time he does it, it sounds exceptional. Another example is his cover of "In the Dead of the Night". By the way, when the guitar melody fully enters at 00:55, it is one of the best guitar feelings I've ever heard.

It isn't showing how fast his fingers move on fretboard ,
it's artwork of his brain that makes extremely fast melodies.
They cover this song, that worth NOTHING 😐
What's matter is that he create this song🎵
    And it's beautiful masterpiece.

Start here…b minor aeolian b, c#,d,e, f#,g, a. Then play a b minor arpeggio B,D,F# add the ninth c# bend it a half step and vibrato nice and easy. Then play a d major arpeggio d, f#, a. Try to end on d. The intro is another lesson on its own 🎸💫🎶🎵🎶🎵📶📶📶🤘🏼
