If there was a way to induce inhibitory stimulation along the "smeared out" axon path, may just a single "counter dot" right behind the point of target stimulation, that could cancel.out the unwanted "tail" or the original stimulation. Is it not possible to generate the oppostite charge at the neighboring position, maybe some miliseconds after the original stimulation?
