The banished should have had a lot more brute weapons. They could have even made up new brute weapons and vehicles. You guys probably don’t know this but the owner of this TH-cam change once flew a mighty space carrier called the “Spirit of Kerbin”, it was lost over laythe tragically.
The biggest thing that should come back is the Halo Reach levels of player customization with their Spartans. And if they brought back playable Elites, imaging having the same customization with your Spartan in Reach with playable Elites. They also should bring back the customization progression/unlock system that Reach had. I absolutely hate with Infinite that 95% of the armor customizations are either tied to the Battle Pass bullshit or locked behind microtransactions. Hell, one of my favorite armors is the ODST armor and if I wanted to get it in Infinite, I'd have to spend $20-$25 for the Battle Pass that has it and then grind all the way up to lvl 75 for it. With Reach's customizations, you could see exactly what cosmetics there were and knew exactly what level/how many cR you needed to get it. And there was way more customization options that were all in one place. You just need the right rank and the cR to get them. With Infinite, it's more or less: Oh, you need to get use get this battle pass and do a bunch of stuff for this one just to maybe get one customization in particular you wanted. Then, have to get a different battle pass and do it all over again to maybe get another piece you wanted. They need to just give us one long list of all the available customizations and just have a cR system like Reach that we can use to get those customizations.
I would like if they added all species as playable, think of a gamemode like star wars battlefront where you can pick jackals, grunts, brutes, elites and hunters if you play on the banished side, fuck balance it would be fun as hell
We also need OFFLINE Campaign Co-OP for the sake of Couch Culture and actually having your BUDDIES come over to Hang Out with you! Also OFFLINE Multiplayer for the Couch Culture Parties people will throw!
I would like it if they added the unique melee abilities Halo CE had. The magnum had a long reach but was slow. The plasma pistol was weak and lowest reach, but was fast. If youre coming at someone at full speed, it even gave more damage.
I just found your channel man. You're very underrated for high quality content like this. Very good presentation and commentary, no unnecessary ramblings. Love how you cover both gameplay and lore. If someone who works weekends can’t find atleast an hour to play during the weekend then that’s on them. I used to work weekends and still found time to game and go to Xur etc.
- assasinations can easily have a use: make them silent and off the radar for anybody but the two people involved (same fir ai) while backsmacks give the regular radar blip and slap-aurgh sounds. slow but sneaky and very cool. - the plasma rifle can easily be a pladma + stun automatic in the ar range ( slower projectiles but tight spread ). a gun of a more civilized age. - dual wielding could work by introducing vertical recoil, balanced to the fire rate so the "climb by firing second" added is the same. dual firing combines the climb of both guns. very hatd to control but very powerfull.

But please make the strafing speed slower, never allow mecanics like curb slide again, I get they're fun but they ruin the gameplay/map flow intended by devs or forgers on many maps
Honestly I kind of like the wasp, it is a fun CAS vehicle. And while it is a threat to ground troops it is easy pickings for heavy weapons, even sustained fire from smaller arms. But it should not be the sole presence of UNSC air power. The falcon or even hornet would be great to have along side them in a sandbox.
Halo Infinite’s sequel should have one mission where you play as Fernando Esparza (The Pilot) where you fight off banished with a pelican. That would help make him more badass and would be good character growth.
Personally, I'd like the Halo 2 Rocket Launcher back, specifically the ability to hold the fire button to lock onto vehicles. Much prefer that to just hovering over an enemy for a couple seconds to lock-on. I won't get into too many specifics, but the more weapons the better. I understand wanting each weapon to fill a unique role, but that shouldn't stop from having some fun gimmick weapons like the Sticky Detonator. When it was first shown off, I honestly saw the MK50 Sidekick as being more like the Halo 2 pistol, being an extremely fast, low damage sidearm that can exist alongside the classic magnum. And while I doubt we'll ever get dual wield back as a proper mechanic, some weapons (like the SMG) I would enjoy being dual wielded by default (as in, the weapon itself is just 2 SMGs). And of course, Playable Elites. I could see them being similar to Reach, slightly bigger than your normal spartan, but with faster shield/health regen or something. And for balancing purposes, they can be limited to just social/party modes (so no Elites in Ranked, but could possibly have a "Ranked Elite" playlist for funsies).
Bring Back Male and Female Spartan AND Elite Genders. Yes, in Halo 3 you can Add the Female Gender to an Elite Character. Bring Back Halo 3 and Reach Armor and Emblem Customization. Bring back Color Selection for Armor and Emblems! I don't think many people liked the Coatings Shit that they couldn't even Customize. Bring Back EVERY Weapon, Piece of Armor, and Vehicle! We need the Spectre, Shadow, and Many, Many More Back. There's so much to Bring Back, even the Beta Weapons, Vehicles, Pickups, Equipment Pickups, and Armor Abilities.
Every weapon? I don’t know if the weapon sandbox would benefit from having the DMR, Battle Rifle, Needle Rifle, and Carbine all together. Kinda would be stepping on each other’s toes, you know? And that’s just one class of weapon. More is not always better.
For me the missing feature that’s at the very top of my list is dual wielding. I know some people don’t like it, but they’re idiots. Various mods have proven that the feature can be well balanced. A feature that sadly wasn’t part of the series that needs to be added is human enemies. We should’ve been fighting against humans and alongside Brutes as the Arbiter prior to the Great Schism. There could’ve been Insurrectionists/pirates who threw in with the Banished in Infinite. And it would’ve been great if we got a dlc where you play as an Elite sent on a loosely connected set of missions during Reach (they could’ve added dual wielding to Elite players to make them more different from human players). I’ve encountered a lot of really bad arguments against human enemies. The ONLY one that’s actually valid is balancing an enemy with ballistics. Or at least it was before Infinite showed it can work perfectly.
Dual wielding was removed back in Reach because of the lower usage across all players in campaign and multiplayer at the time, not as much balancing. Also having human enemies would have the game not exist. Multiple markets would have banned the game or given it an AO rating if human enemies were added. Since then, its just been a part of the series to focus on threats against humanity and not muddying the conflict with human/human violence. Thats been intentional for over 2 decades. If you want to be an alien killing humans, there are plenty of other games to indulge your homicidal tendencies.
A good story with good music are the main things I want. And more creative maps for campaign & multiplayer. Otherwise Halo Infinite has been great. Next Halo I want Overshield and Camo to look like Halo 2, the Elephant from Halo 3, and other big vehicles like Pelican, Scarab, and ODST droppods. Also playable elites!
I agree with everything you said! I love the Reach's Fireteam system, because I simply like the fact that these Marines/Troopers aren't just nameless. Idk, it just feels better. I also agree on one take. It's cool and all but severely limits the scope. Also, more characters. I believe Pilot will/should be much more energetic in the next game as he has gone through a character transformation. IMO the Banished Scrarabs are the best Scarabs ever looked They deserve to be in the next game. I know many people will say Chief needs to be silent and talk less, but I like him speaking, like in Halo 4. Steve Downes' voice is just amazing. It'd make sense for Chief to speak when necessary, issue orders to Marines. And, if possible, have the subspecies from H4/H5 in the game too. Like both new and old versions of the characters, because I love 4/5 Jackals. I'd be happy to see Sword of Sangheilios, especially their ships like Blockade Runner make appearances. The SAW needs to return. Promethean weapons, if it makes sense in the story, just needs some redesign and fixes. While I love the simplicity of Infinite's HUD, I'd prefer the weapons and equipments to be placed on top left and right respectively while still being minimalistic. One thing you missed - Music. Infinite's music was great. It's not just music but it's implementation that is far better than 4 and 5. But I'd love to hear some of the best tracks from 4/5 brought back like 117, Arrival, Green and Blue to list a few. And one niche thing, I like Halo 4's font. I want it to be on the next game.
Honestly fuck the broadsword. There was no way to invert the controls in Halo 4 to fly like every other plane game. I was already done with Halo 4 as a serious game, but that cemented it as the worst game in the series for me. Also the military commo speech is still seriously lacking, even as Reach was about as close as they got. I’ll never forgive 343 having a sergeant in Halo 4 spelled sargeant in the comm window in the corner of the screen.
Population retention still my main concern. Forge keeps getting implemented when it’s far too late. Let the community create free content that makes Halo a necessity for every gamer. Somehow campaign has become the main focus of Halo and it’s just dead.
We need the reach abilities back maybe not armor lock but the rest would be great also chief talking less is good thing in 4 he talked 800% more than all past halo games combined making him seem dumb and weak constantly asking dumb qestions and adding useless comments while it nice to have Steve get more use it just doesn't fit chief to be talking all the time
no please dont halo has always had a really sh1ty balance (always like 4 to 6 weapons are useles) and dual wealding weapons always get even MORE nerfed is not tha the mechanic is bad, is very cool, is that neither bungie nor 343 know how to make a well balanced sandbox
@ halos sandbox is really fun to play with the but it's really far from any kind of realistic combined arms warfare. I think it would be cool to add more real vehicle types to halo, it shouldn't be a tactical shooter but having the campaign involve APCs and mortars and artillery could be fun. The halo version of a Bradley could be really cool.
So many weapons missing...
I *_need_* the Needle Rifle and Grenade Launcher back
The modded LMG somebody made based on Reach concept art would be sick too

We need the reach abilities back maybe not armor lock but the rest would be great also chief talking less is good thing in 4 he talked 800% more than all past halo games combined making him seem dumb and weak constantly asking dumb qestions and adding useless comments while it nice to have Steve get more use it just doesn't fit chief to be talking all the time
These were all great points, awesome content man
@@thomasholford7897 Thank you :)
Ah yes, let’s add back sergeant johnson, who is dead
he means a different character in the game to give the same sort of energy
He basically did in CE, they could come up with some bullshit for his survival again lmao
There are odsts in reach, you know?
And in 4 actually. Hard to spot with all the Spartan 4s running around, but they are there
I know
@@MinilordFTWwhere did you see odst in halo 4?
@@MinilordFTW A google search would've told you this was wrong. Not sure where you heard this from but it isn't true.
Halo Infinite's map design was so bad, empty and boring that it gave me inspiration to continue playing Halo CE Legendary
It should go back to be a xbox exclusive game
@@bottleflaskan802 I got all the footage on PC lol
Microsoft is giving up on the console war cuz they realized they need to make good games to compete.
Halo Infinite just sucks, crazy how they ruined a once great franchise
5:15 Esparza slander will not be tolerated.
no please dont
halo has always had a really sh1ty balance (always like 4 to 6 weapons are useles) and dual wealding weapons always get even MORE nerfed
is not tha the mechanic is bad, is very cool, is that neither bungie nor 343 know how to make a well balanced sandbox
I just want the plasma rifle and I would be happy, that's all
A balanced sandbox is a boring sandbox..
@@user-ne9sd4ow1o an ALL BR sandbox is a boring sandbox
Dual wielding was cool but pointless
No one used it and it limited you a ton not allowing melee or grenades
It was COOL
i used it, it was cool ! it was badass
they should add femboy ODST's to the next halo game
It’s true
They had female Spartans and elites in Halo 3. They were great!
2:04 it is unrealistic for people to do that in combat. People in the real world usually do that for transportation I think.
@@disfuncionexe fair point
@ halos sandbox is really fun to play with the but it's really far from any kind of realistic combined arms warfare. I think it would be cool to add more real vehicle types to halo, it shouldn't be a tactical shooter but having the campaign involve APCs and mortars and artillery could be fun. The halo version of a Bradley could be really cool.
