Without a doubt this was Grouillard's best season in F1 in terms of his driving performance. Great to see rare footage of underdogs battling the big boys!
My favourite part is at 5:54 when the Osella team is congratulating Grouillard for finishing the race while the French national anthem can be heard in the distance playing for winner Alain Prost.
I'm fairly certain it's the Mexican GP, the only race that Olivier finished that Prost won (French national anthem) - in which case, they are celebrating 19th, 4 laps down!!
mi ricordo molto bene che nei test estivi a monza addirittura per risparmiare benza oliver spegneva il motore 200 metri prima della entrata box ed inoltre all'arrivo in autodromo i piloti arrivavano con macchine extra lusso ma oliver no lui arrivava con una y10 1100 neanche i finestrini elettrici aveva oliver sei stato un mito per tutti noi
I love how you can hear the anthems bieng played for the podium but you would never have known by the smiles on his team that he didnt finish in the top 3. I cant remember , were they using Judd engines or maby Cosworth v8?
