All these years later and this still makes me cry! Jo has done so much for me thanks to her and the world she created, I've Always known that no matter what I had a home at Hogwarts! I can't imagine life without Jo and her world and one day my kids will know of her world as well because as she said "No story lives unless someone wants to listen. The stories we love best do live in us forever. So whether you come back by page or by the big screen Hogwarts will Always be there to welcome you home." So thank you Jo.
You wanna the best birthday present I ever got? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It came out on my birthday, and my parents were back home with it by the time I woke up. Thank you Jo for everything. I am an aspiring author. However, I can never seem to stay on a single project for more than an hour. However, the thought of how you were no one and then became a celebrated author feeds my ambition, and I hope that someday, I can write a book that has touched the world like your books have.
I'm an aspiring author, and I think all I can hope is to be as loved as Ms. Rowling. She has inspired me and my writing so much, I don't know where I'd be without Harry. Thank you, Jo. for everything.
I love J.K. Rowling. She is my idol and forever will be. Harry Potter will always remain in my heart and this fandom will last forever. Thank you J.K. Rowling, I wish someday I could meet you.
Thank you so much. I am so delighted that you and you and Victoria and Georgia (and it seems like a lot of the people on FB) like it!!! That was really nice of you to tell everyone about it! :) I just joined the group! ~Christine
This is amazing. Thank you, Jo. Because without you and your books, without Harry Potter, I never would have picked up a pen and started to write. I never would have become who I am today. Every time I fall back into depression, I turn to Harry. The films, the books, the fanfics, pottermore, wrock. Everywhere, Harry is there. So I thank you. For Harry quite literally saves lives. Including mine.
I also wanna thank you, thank you who wrote this song, who sung it, who played it, who uploaded it. But most of all thank you J.K. Rowling. Thank you for giving us this wonderful story, for giving us new friends through Harry Potter, for new dreams and everything.
Reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is my first memory. I was four. These books have been a life-saver, honestly. Without them I wouldn't have made it through middle school. I'm upset that the books are coming to an end, but I'm happy that I was part of the generation that grew up with Harry. :) I'm almost seventeen now, I'm been reading Harry Potter since I was four. Thank you Ms Rowling.
oh my rowling!! gave me chills. Jo is my hero, inspired me to write, and, as the song says 'taught the whole world how to read', it was all I read until my mom banned it during the school year. I started the series when I was 6/7, and am now 16, about to graduate high school, and the series has stayed with me all these years. Thank You, Jo
less than three..... it's hard for me not to tear up when i hear this. The acual song plus your video... Thank you, Jo. You have made me a much better person.
I am just now hearing this after all the movies and books and i am sitting here bawling its so sad and beautiful and TRUE. We have grown up with Harry Potter and we all loved it so now all I have to say is........... WE LOVE YOU JO!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING OUR CHILD HOOD SO GREAT AND AWESOME AND MOST OF ALL MAGICAL
Aw... thanks Steph. I guess this is another reason why I haven't written in forever... anyway insanely long message will come tommorrow, I promise. :) Yeah it's a good "welcome to Wrock and the HP fandom" song.
Thank you. Words cannot express how much this song means to me. HP will forever be in our hearts. For Jo, you made my childhood:) you gave me something to look forward to. Thanks.
I remember when my mom brought me the first Harry Potter book back in September 1999. I wasn't completely in love from the beginning because it took me a while for the book to even catch my attention. When I finally sat down and read the book I FELL IN LOVE! I was never allowed to do the midnight waits for each new books, my mom was always very strict. I would anxiously await the day my mom would take me to the store. I have never been so invested in a series. It changed my life forever!
That was such a sweet song! It made me cry to think of how much everyone has benefited from her. I know she and Harry helped me through hards times. xx
Tearing up.... RiddleTM are such beautifull song writers,a dn this was a fantastic video. Harry Potter means so much to me, im not even going to attempt to put it into words.
There are no words to express the love, joy, and pain that J.K.Rowling has taught me. I have learned so much from these 7 volumes filled with friendship, love, courage, loyalty, and most of all . . . hope. Without her and Harry, i would have fallen into a pit of sadness and fear of being who I REALLY am. Thank you Jo for giving me hope and teaching me to never give up. I thank you for giving me the strength to be . . . me. I raise my butterbeer to you . . . J.K. Rowling
Eleven years ago on Christmas morning, I probably received loads of toys, but I don't remember of them, because I was so fixated on the first 3 Harry Potter novels my mom had given. Even though I was 6 years old and had the attention span of a goldfish, I didn't rest until I finished them. Months later I begged my mom until she took me to a midnight party to get Goblet of Fire. I grew up reading and rereading Harry Potter, and it helped me become the woman I am today. Thank you Jo.
I read the first book when I was five years old,it was my first novel, and I have never stopped. I still cry at night for the deaths of our friends, these books are my life and I spend almost all of my time reading or somehow being involved with Harry. Either thru songs, the books(again), fanfics, sites, quizzes, movies, or writing these books basically own my life.
Oh my god. exactly 7 days ago I was two minutes into the final harry potter film. This song is too much for me to take. I'm absolutely bawling right now.
ahh, i remember starting to read these when i was 8... i think the reason so many people love harry potter really IS because so many people grew up with him. we feel like we knew harry, and we grew as harry grew up. i still tear up when i read these books, 10 years later, haha.
Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home, and she created that home. She gave us Hogwarts. I have never met J.K. Rowling but I love her so much. Words can not describe how much Harry Potter has meant for me. Home is where the heart is and my heart is at Hogwarts. Thank you so much for those amazing 7 books. I love you J.K. Rowling and I am sure everyone who has fallen in love with Harry Potter loves you too.
Harry Potter will forever and always be my favorite book series. It's the series that made me love reading, it helped me identify myself and be happy with it, and its inspired me to write my own stories. Although I'm not part of the original generation, I've been touched by the books just as much. I was born over a year after Sorcerer's Stone came out, and didn't read the books until after Deathly Hallows was out. But I finished the books in less than a year and love all reading because of it.
I'm about to cry. I went through the entire series in about a year. I wasn't allowed to go to the midnight premiere of Deathly Hallows but I was there on the second day. I feel like I missed out on so much. Waiting in line for the books and such. It makes me feel really awful when people say. 'You're not a true fan if you didn't wait for the books' or some other utter crap like that. I was born 3 years after the first book came out,and didn't have the opportunity. I would have given anything to
I started reading this when I was 7. My mum showed me her secret collection, it was almost complete. DH was missing. When DH came out I made my dad camp outside the bookstore in the middle of winter to get it for me. We all grew up with Harry Potter and it will always be in our hearts.
Harry Potter will always be in my heart even after it is long gone and the movies have finisheed and the books have been closed. I will always have the Harry Potter fandom in my heart :'D
J. K. Rowling is amazing. I love how, even though they can read, teenagers sit in the little "reading time circle" thing to enjoy Jo reading her book. Harry Potter is, and ALWAYS will be, the best book I've ever read. ♥
HANKKKK!!!!! But really, Harry Potter has been with me since I was seven and will always be with me, even though it's been finished. Thanks to Jo, for giving me something I can always rely on when things get rough.
I adore this song!!!! Thank you so much J.K Rowling ,thanks for sharing with us this beautiful magical world, I'll be always grateful . Beautiful song , great job ^w^
wow...i love this song too but i don't have any of the cds, from these artists....its too risky for me to buy their merchandise's over the internet, is there a store that sells them?oh and beautiful vid!!!! 5/5 stars!!!!
ohh this song made me cry sooo hard, but they were happy tears!! "I'm greatful for all that you've taught me..." "Thank you so much for Harry" *raising my pupmkin juice*
For Jo. For my childhood. For my whole life, really. For my best friends. For love, laughter, tears, magic, friendship. That's why I keep fighting. Because I have something worth living for. Jo, this is for you.
People are like "It's just some books." or "It's just some movies." but no IT IS MY CHILDHOOD. I WILL FOREVER HAVE A LIGHTNING-BOLT SHAPED HOLE IN MY HEART.
If you weren't allowed to cry we'd have a huge problem. I cry all the time when listening to it, and making it was really hard to do with wet eyes. ^_^ Thank Riddle TM, not me, they're the ones with the AMAZING song. Glad you like it as much as I do. :)
Harry Potter will always be in my heart, and when I have kids, they too shall have the Harry Potter experiance. Harry Potter will stay alive for many more generations to come. It may be the end of the books/movies but it is not the end of the Magic!!
I have been told the same things. Even though I was a child when the books started and I grew up with them, I had a strict mom who would never let me do the midnight premieres. I desperately wanted to though. My theory is this: You are a true fan if the series has changed your life in some way, not whether or not you have been to midnight premieres or been to studio tours and/or the theme park.
Thank you Joanna Rowling, you are one of my idols and probably the idol to millions upon millions of kids. Now you had to go so much in your life, and yet you’re still this strong women I know there’s still hope that magic still in the world because of you & Harry. And That there’s still good people you make me strive to be a good writer I may never have never thought someone would have wanted to read some strange story about magic and fairytales if it wasn't for you Joanna so thank for the magic
I want more adventures with Harry Potter! I absolutely love the books. I want to know more about James, Albus. and Lily Potter. They should have there fair of adventures too.

Awesome ! I got the chance to meet the Riddles and their parents in London and hear them live. Totally made me cry.

Harry Potter means so much to me, im not even going to attempt to put it into words.
You know I'm not RiddleTM, right... I'm just a huge fan!!
I just wanted to let you know that I posted this on the Wizrocklopedia today. I really loved it! You did a wonderful job with it.
I bought RiddleTM's CD (and most other wrock CDs) from iTunes.
Thank you.
GREAT JOB! I absolutely love this song! Up until now, I haven't seen any songs/vids specifically to pay tribute to JK. Absolutely brilliant!
Oh, wow I didn't know it was on the HPAlliance website until now... oh WOW!
