Not saying ravens are dumb but JK Rowling says it’s supposed to be a bronze eagle and the colors are blue and bronze. You’d think they’d realize us Ravenclaws are smart enough to catch it and JK Rowling or whoever approves merchandise on her behalf should be ashamed. Almost every time I’m disappointed. If i have to settle for the raven and silver I will because it would mean more merch but I’d rather not have to accept it in the first place. Gryffindor and to a lesser extent Slytherin get all the cool stuff and more accuracy of the stuff too.

Plus the cost of admission alone and then of course if you need to stay at a hotel and pay for parking and eating, that all adds up super duper quickly. Most importantly, though, this stuff is lovely to have but it’s non-essential and most of the money people make goes towards essential things like food and housing, paying bills and insurance and gas, etc. If you make $13 an hour that one $39 tie is three hours of work BEFORE taxes are taken out. And idk how you came to the conclusion that that would be how much you’d make to earn $40 in a year, but if you work 365 days a year and never take any time off, 8 hours a day, no taxes factored in, then your math would be closer to the correct estimate, but very few people work 60 hour work weeks and take no time off ever, so that’s an exaggeration in many ways.

No, but what you can do is if you go to the Wizarding world in Orlando in diagon alley they have wand repair shops where you can trade broken wands for new ones!
Went to Universal Orlando this past weekend; prices have definitely gone up on some of the items like the house robes and it's only been under 2 years since this video was posted. Wonder how much they'll cost in a couple of years. Madam Malkin's, like the all the other stores, was so much fun to explore though.

Maybe you can give some insight on this. What do you think is a good amount to bring for souvenirs? I’m planning on going for 5 days next gear. I was thinking $1000 for everything (food and souvenirs) but I don’t think that’s realistic. This is probably my only time I’ll ever go, or it’ll be awhile before I go again. I’m not really all that into buying wands or robes, so that will probably help. What price range would you think is good for a Harry Potter lover’s once in a lifetime trip?
If you have $1000 to budget for food and souvenirs, more power to you! That seems a bit excessive, but there are some nice collectible pieces that you are able as well. I'd bring as much as you can and see if you have any left! $1000 seems like a lot, but could certainly go quickly.

yeah, $125 for a robe? Spirit Halloween would be around $30, I think. It might be less comfortable, but it's almost a whole 100 dollar difference aha.
