Totally. Just was cleaning dishes and then before I knew it, I had cleaned my car floor mats, watered the plants, cleaned the sink, the stove and the microwave and decided to clean my tennis shoes. Again. When asked by my brother why I was cleaning I answered, "because most of the time once I start, I can't really stop."

I love the idea of using the mop to scrub the tub/ shower. My hips can't take the bending anymore.
When I am done scouring the toilet bowl I flush, rinse the brush in the clean toilet bowl of water, shake it off, spray it down with Lysol and wedge it between the seat and rim to to air dry. This avoids the gunk in the brush holder.

Tara, I need your expert advice. How do I get the bottom (floor) and edges of my bathtub clean? It doesn't look terrible, but I just can't get the remaining gunk off. It's a fiberglass shower/bathtub. Thank you! I'm going nuts over it. Laughing!
@@daphnelattimer9952 I'm not Tara but the best cleaner I've found for the tub is a mix of hot vinegar and blue Dawn in equal parts. Put in a spray bottle, spray and walk away for about 10 minutes. It seems to melt grime!

"It's crazy how a clean space totally lifts your mood." Wow! A simple sentence shouldn't strike a person so hard...but this one hit me...and I NEED to get my house clean!
If you feel overwhelmed, start very small. One junk drawer, one shelf, etc. Like she said about getting started with the 15 min. timer, it motivates you to do more. Decluttering helps you to keep it clean. Have a blessed day!

I wear the auto wash mitts on my hand to clean toilets and I put them on my swiffer mop for my floors. Green ones for bathroom, and blue for the kitchen.

Nice tip, but do they work or does the dust still fly around? I bought some reusable ones that are washable but they just make the dust fly everywhere, so I’m back to the throwaway swifter brand.
The trick with the mop to clean the tub genius. Also the grount cleaning trick game changer. All these amazing cleaning tricks and tips gave me back the motivation I lost in the last couple of months. Love Katherine's voice so calming. I just went through and took apart all my fans yesterday and cleaned them with a wet rag and vinegar preparing for a hot summer this year getting them ready. It was very satisfying cleaning all the dirt off the fans. I love your videos and your heartfelt messages. Gives me motivation to clean 🧼 thank you!!

After her last video, I have been wanting both the steamer and the steamer mop! I also want that O'Cedar mop! I'm probably one of the strangest people...I love new cleaning supplies, yet I'm so lazy I hate to clean, so anything that makes cleaning easier is a HUGE bonus for me!

Great tips! Another tip for no streaks on mirrors is leaving the lights off when doing them. Also if you're looking for a great scrubbing tool, I got a 27 piece drill brush set on Amazon for $19,.99. You get brushes and scrub pads that attach to your cordless drill for different surfacee like tubs, showers, tile, grout, kitchen, glass and it made my job so much easier and got things clean in less time with less work.

I just have to tell you how inspiring these videos are! You’ve inspired me to do at least one “big” chore (vacuum a room, clean the bathroom, etc) every day. I just took my first trip to Dollar Tree in a LONG time and picked up a ton of the tools you’ve mentioned! It was a small one so it didn’t have everything.
I can’t remember if you mentioned this or another TH-camr or website mentioned this, but I got the scrub brush with the bristles (the one that fits in your palm) and just used it on my high-traffic carpets to brush up all the hair that gets stuck and smooshed into it. So easy - I have long hair, and it just peeled right out of the brush when I was done! Highly recommend- “and it was only a dollar!”

Kathryn, I think you were the one who mentioned toothpaste for cleaning the shower doors. It works like a charm! However I started to use RainX which beads up the water instantly just like your windshield! My fav today is the silicone bead around the tub using painter’s tape. I use Dollar Tree sponges and I just bought the washable Swiffer mop pad that you showed in a previous video. I really like it! I either set a timer to clean or I'll put on some music, and that always motivates me to get going! 🧼🧽🪣🧺🧹

I love that product, my daughter says hopefully one that they'll make a generic because of the price. I use about one a month and I am proud to be a cheapskate. This product is worth the price it is wonderful.
For my bathtub I used regular dishes soap.

I never thought about using the dish sponge in the bathroom like that! Our sink fixtures are bulky and there's not a lot of room for my fingers and a sponge to get through the sides of the handles so I definitely look forward to ease of access.
The painters tape as a guide for the caulk is super helpful, too.

Seeing you clean the jet tub reminds me of why I went with just the soaker tub in this house😉 I have a Scotchbrite extendable cleaner for bathroom easier with my arthritis, but the DT mop is going to be so much cheaper!!

I use to use comet and soft scrub to clean the tub but the fumes were too strong. I asked a friend what she used and she said dawn dish soap. It makes sense because it’s made to cut grease. I was happy to see that you used the new power dawn cause I just discovered it myself and it worked perfectly! Also thank you for all the great ideas and motivation! 🥰

I really like the counter/backsplash all in one. No crevices. For years i cleaned mansions in Park City and Sundance Utah so I've been lucky to see amazing homes. Allot of the tubs we had to literally climb into to clean so i love the mop top allot.
