This was the death of that epic summer on 1992. They took the piss. Vision was in part, Perception, who’d already burned their local authority good will bridges spectacularly: most notably in Kings Lynn in October 1991. It was packed in that main tent. The weather turned cold wet & windy & the main tent flooded. Mud caked hyperthermic ravers in foil blankets is what I remember. Not a good night.
I had forgotten that link! Chris Griffin I think? I remember perception from 1990 and early 91 some good parties but everything had changed so much by this one. We were jaded and burnt out to fuck at this point looking back.
@@sorryithoughtyouwasachair that’s right. I was at perception @ waddesdon in July, that was a fierce rave. Also the one at melton Mowbray airfield in April 1993: that one had its licence pulled & turned illegal while in progress
Bang on bro. By the time summer 92 came around there was huge events happening weekly and the scene just wasn’t the same afterwards. Still some great events happening such as Universe and galactica Andromada & Amnesia/Nemisis, alongside clubs like Sterns etc but by the end of 92 those who were there at the beginning were seeing that change in atmosphere etc. wicked times for me late 90 and 91 was the best years for the whole scene. 🕊️ 🙌 🕊️
Greed and the weather were the downfall of this rave. The promoters knew they sold way to many tickets. Vision was the worst rave I have ever been to. Best rave / festival was torpedo town / spiral tribe and let's not forget the crazy nights at sterns in worthing..
I was here at my birthday @12am, my 17th, the year before that was perception @ Gloucester ( perceptions raves in 91 kickin, long Marston airfield Stratford-upon-Avon before Gloucester, an kingslyn Norfolk, let's not forget long leat safari park field's) anyway where was I before I went off on one, oh yeah, vision, wicked do, it was like the grand national running in a wide line of thousands to get in there. It pissed down something hard, I mean pissed down, the mud in the morning once you came out the marquee was mental, nearly as mental as this Do. I was in tent 2 most of the night, but tent 1 had blade runner production from the movie. I'm telling you what tho, if you was there then you will know exactly what I'm saying. Other than the moody lot that went round robbing ppl ( you know who im talking about).... this was bangin rave. ACID HOUSE 🕉🙂 HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE
the rain was horrendous , the pills were awful & I got a bollocking from my dad in the morning . Other than that was a great night :) hardcore music was crap by that stage
One of the best nights of my youth!
Seeing these videos always brings out a massive smile for me and 89 to 94 was a magical time and was at this event ❤and big up to my fellow ravers
My 20rh birthday. Awesome. Spent next day on portsdown hill. And sterns people all met later
Heavy white mud on your trainers was the feature of the night.
