Who disliked this video? The level playing is beyond most peoples comprehension. Luke is widely regarded as the best in the world by his peers and yet we have idiots disliking this. Give the man some credit.
Top 10 ish, but it's false to claim he is widely regarding as the best by his peers. It was a bit sloppy. Maybe that's why it's had some dislikes. It's definitely the worst I've heard him. Probably tired or unwell.

Unluckily Luke in this video was drunk af, he drank 2 bottle of red wine, this was two years before when he stopped drinking alcohol completely, now happy to see him sober and quiet, my favorite guitar player of all time.
He is not the player he was when he was young, his timing is off on his speed licks and they don't carry the same quality. A great player still? Yes. Best in the world? No
Steve Lukather admitted this: he had a drinking episode after TOTO split. His playing became sloppy and he went through divorce. Hope that answers your rant against Steve Lukather.
