The worse thing about this game is that it is so inconsistent. Today my M4A3 (105) Sherman will blow everything in the game up and tomorrow it is a glass slipper that wont kill anything. The whole game is inconsistent. I think its much more fun when there are real people playing as opposed to bots. Its easy to tell the difference.

If you beginner you tank have rating 1.0 it is like cars with muchine gun,you playing with player who have tank rating 4.0 or more and it is logical you very fast end game one shot and game is over..it is start of game if you play longer your tank rate is higher
You have to force yourself to only play RB to reprogram yourself from AB bad habits. Use your binoculars constantly. You should be using them like every 5 seconds. It really helps.

Biggest problem for me in RB is the heli spam.
@@14565 my highest BR is only 6.3. So I'm experiencing the rampant fighter-bomber spam but i bet heli is way worse

Don't really care about the planes. If I select ground battles I'm in it for the tanks lol.
Although it takes some time to get use to, RB has some advantages. For instance, I find it easier it to play uptier, as flanking is much more effective and you don't have to face the enemy face on. A lot of weak armored tanks are more survival in RB.

I started playing WT in arcade. Then tried to go to RB. Then proceeded to get cucked in literally every match(6.3 BR). Call me whatever you like but RB is no fun for me.
October 2022 update: Air RB made me a man. Grinded whole British, US and Sweden air tree with no premium jets (but with premium account though). I felt like I was playing wrong game before, now it's only air RB for me and sometimes ground but only to take my favorite air superiority fighters.

I'm rubbish at RB too but I can do ok in certain tanks that are heavily armored. I can't see what people are shooting at in TH-cam realistic videos so need something that can take a hit or two. I've done ok in a squad as I can do the job once I know which direction the enemy is in.

RB requires your attention to the environment, as you need to physically look for enemies.
Biggest problem are maps, as most have open fields, where someone can snipe you from 1 km and its not fun in arcade, but its even less fun getting pounded from camper you cant even see on your screen.... hashtag bushes are p2w
Dude they only work in forest jungle maps which is like 1/5 of the maps
I’m still new to War Thunder (just got to the 5.0 Soviet tank tree) but so far I prefer RB over Arcade. I like having to pay attention to the environment, flanking without the whole enemy team knowing where I’m at, and being able to hide in plain sight. Of course, it gets annoying when I get sniped by a German tank 2000 meters away or shot in the back by a guy that showed up right when I turn my screen away. That being said, it also feels great when u successfully flank and kill 3 guys from the back/side (unless u get Gaijin’d) without being detected

Realistic battles is horrible 9 out of 10 games I lose money because I’m overrun or because some invisible bush tank destroys me and aiming is way to difficult

I was really suffering in rb (8.3) only getting a single kill is hard as there is so much pressure and just decided to fuck it im playing aracade and it was fun and i get 2k rp and atleast 12k sl
I do AB 99% of the time and that’s ok I feel it’s a more casual experience for me

Best part about realistic is you can use your own planes.
You literally just fly in a circle above the enemy spawn clicking bomb button. Really skillful

Honestly, RB is easier than AB imo. Not only does the minimap reveal your location, there also is a hitmarker that signifies if a shot can pen or not.
Arcade for me when i want to spade a light tank since any shot will kill me anyways and i can spot enemies and get easy kills, the opposite for heavies or high repair cost tanks
Hit marker isn't always accurate, also if enemy has camo it won't work at all, same over 1km distance. However if you have some RB skills you have a big advantage.
AB i get 10 kills every match RB i get 3 kills at best and die by a sweaty player from 10km away
As a guy from tank gaems...like world of tanks blitz, pc etc im sticking better with arcades cuz im used to see the tank names,were rhey are on the map and were to shoot (well this last one might be cuz iearned most armor profiles from blitz)

It was hard switching from AB to RB. I had to teach myself to use binoculars all the time. The tanks felt really slow in RB but since i stopped playing arcade for a month or so now, i don't even notice it anymore. I also used to think that only noobs play AB but I've come to realise there are just as many terrible players in RB as there are in AB.
I really don't get why people get so upset about what game mode other people play. Is there some logical reason or is it just elitism?
I don't enjoy RB. I'm a pussy, I know but getting sniped by a bush from 3 miles away is not fun for me. When I play WarThunder, I want to have fun instead of sweating every match, looking at my screen from 2 cm away to see three pixels of a king tiger that blows me up seconds later.
Which one do you earn more research or silver lions in?
Realistic battles earn you the most
I play realistic and get 3-5 kills and win but only achive around 5k RP. Yet in 10ish mins i can pump out a 7-9kill game in Arcade and get around 6.5-7k RP. Im only grinding 4.3 Japan rn but Arcade seems to be much more effective at grinding. Wonder if this is the case for higher tiers

For planes i play realistic and for thanks i play arcade, i got 3 vehicles lineup for my Chinese bing chilling tech tree consisting of zsd63(anti air) and m64 and m18 both light tanks, i used to play realistic for tanks but now i prefer arcade bc now i can actually kill planes with my anti air😂😂😂

I like arcade. And I don't understand why people don't. If you want want to be try hards and enjoy sweaty matches be my guest.
It dosent matter if rb gives more rp beacuse ile get more rp from ab beacuse u will hardly get any kills in rb

Arcade is easy version of game and beginers startet of arcade why?in simulation your opponet is expirence players and have very good tanks
