Hello, Russell! Go to an ordinary football match, where 40-55 thousand spectators gather! For example, to St. Petersburg or Krasnodar, and not to a match involving Lokomotiv, where 3 cripples go.
For those wondering why there’s not a lot of people in the stands, it is due to a law by the Russian government from 2021 : Only people with a Fan ID can attend domestic league football matches. This Fan ID is given to people that haven’t been convicted of violence in Russia. Its purpose was to eradicate hooliganism in Russian football. Most of ultra groups boycotted the Russian league because of this law
Thanks for explaining that. A lot of people who support the Lokomotiv Moscow team simply won't go to games now because of this rule

Когда помню раньше показывали потасовки болельщиков просто хотелось запретить эти виды спорта в россии и сделать их онлайн. С порядком намного приятнее и лучше.
Да уже давно нет никаких драк на стадионе и вокруг него. Вы можете посмотреть кубок России, где нет фан айди. Все проходит спокойно.
Я не хулиган или ультрас, но фан айди убивает футбол. На матч сложно привести нейтрального человека. Которым футбол не так интересен. Шанс случайно попасть на футбол и начать ходить на стадион. Стремится к нулю. Ведь надо делать фан айди.

И я прекрасно понимаю обе стороны (за или против). Сама идея неплохая, но почему заставлять людей ходить в Мфц чтобы оформить? Для меня это не понятно. Почему просто сразу не отдать эту карту всем, кроме тех которые могут быть проблемными, через госуслуги и все. Просыпаемся завтра и все получаем уведомление : «вы получили карту болельщика» )

Btw, Russel, this stad is named after Lev Yashin, the legend of football well known around the world, the only goalkeeper in history who won the Golden Ball. He played for Dinamo Moscow.
Yep, everyone knows him, even here in Ireland. True legend of the game. Often when a goalkeeper plays well, people say they “played like Yashin”. He’s recognised by most as the greatest keeper of all time.

Friendship Games in Moscow in 1984 They took place in the Soviet capital because the National Olympic Committee of our country refused to send athletes to the Olympics in Los Angeles.
The USSR NOC referred to the fact that in the USA "anti-Soviet hysteria is being whipped up", "unbearable conditions are being created for the USSR delegation" and that there is a "threat of physical violence against Soviet athletes and officials". But, obviously, the Soviet government simply wanted to answer the Americans for refusing to come to the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.
At the Games that have begun in Paris, only a few athletes from our country are participating - they will perform in a neutral status. The rest refused to participate in what is now called the Olympics.
This year, our country also planned to hold Friendship Games, but it did not work out - they were postponed to 2025.

Estádio José Alvalade (Sporting) is worth a visit, a food court inside the stadium as well as a Supermarket (Lidl).

Football in summer? I guess in Russia Ice hockey is the winter sport. Here in Australia our Australian Rules football crowds aren’t separated like what happens in Soccer. The Dynamo stadium looks fantastic but it is not the only one in the world that has shopping mall.
There is FK Vozdovac from Belgrade Serbia and their stadium is on the rooftop of the shopping mall called "Stadion".
Of course it's much smaller than this stadium but it is the only rooftop stadium in the world 😁

Hey, this isnt the only stadium with a shopping centre built in, Saint Gallen from switzerland also has a shopping centre underneath the stadium :)
Stadion SC in Belgrade was also built above a shopping center, while Out Tampines Hub in Singapore literally had the shopping center built around the stadium!
Seems so orderly, lucky to live there.

Zenith, Spartak, CSKA, I remember those teams playing the UEL and the UCL, it is a shame that now sports are just about politics and lgtb propaganda.
Sport is supposed to excess all boundaries. It appears not right now. I actually saw CSKA play Tottingham Hotspurs a few years about in Moscow.

Although the big clubs didn't like going all the way to Russia because of the distance and freezing weather towards the end of the group stages, a European tour wouldn't be complete without playing one of Russia's big clubs and see their crazy topless ultras in freezing temperatures. 🥶
Could you make a video of the 3 story mall that is more or less under Red Square? Please show how you get there, and the entrance etc. I think people would find it very interesting? And the stained glass domes above the mall at ground level. Love Moscow, if you can't build up due to limited space, then you go under ground.

There is a fantastic Serbian cafe in the food court.

I suppose it would be fair to tell your audience about russian fan id. Without fan id it is impossible now to get at the stadium, so it was the reason why the average number of fans who come at the stadium went down.
Right, you can still attend Russian Cup games without a fan id though.
@@TravellingwithRussell I know, but in general this decision was definetely strange and unlogical, given that so many cameras and police in Moscow everywhere. As a result fans mainly ignore matches, so its absolutetly different atmosphere at the stadium..

What is this guy talking about? :) PS...im super surprised that the stadium wasn't full in Moscow... yeah them are bad sits that are empty but there are so many people in Moocow and Russia loves the sport... Many people boycott the mandatory Fan ID document because they believe that this document infringes on their rights. Therefore, not many people attend Russian championship matches.

Russian fans are boycotting Premier League matches because of Fan ID, a system for registering visitors to football matches. This system was first introduced during the 2018 World Cup and is now being used at Premier League matches. That's why there are very few people at Premier League matches. Friendly and cup matches always attract a lot of fans; you can watch, for example, the friendly match between CSKA and Partizan.

All those signs in English have to be removed! Only Russian and languages of other nationalities of Russia have to be used in Russian Federation!
A lot of this was from when the world Cup football was in Moscow. They also held other events in this stadium.
