- In this video, I interview 4 women from Cartagena on what they think of American men/tourists travelling to Colombia. What reasons do men travel for? Why do men come to Colombia. I interview several women and also give my personal opinion on how to travel properly.

Im Romanian, lived in Germany, worked on cruising ships, visa refusal for a contract in USA then since 2007 in the UK, my ex partner is Colombian and we home school our daughter and it was me who suggested in 2020 during Covid that they stay in Colombia while I continue supporting as much as I can. Im about to break through in Forex Trading, got funded and hope I can spend most of time with my daughter in Colombia, mom in Romania, sister in Germany and then by myself some parts of the world. I realised the perfect place does not exist but I can make home in various places. Will be nice if we can keep in touch.

Latino men & women alike will highly prefer dating their own as the culture and language are non-negotiables when it comes to finding a partner.
Even is the U.S., they will always prefer their own.
That's why many foreigners struggle to find a partner abroad, while the men with shared values and culture play in easy mode.
This applies to most cultures/races. Asians are probably the most conservative and white the most liberal when dating outside their culture.

@@passlifepassport Yes, several times. I worked for the U.S.G. and my job required frequent world travel. My very last assignment required travel in Columbia north to south and east to west. I crisscrossed the entire country. Columbia is a popular destination for Americans, both citizens and government officials.

I should add that there was a guerrilla war (or civil war or popular revolution) that caused concern for Americans but that seems to have tapered off over the years. And although there is drug trafficking it does not seem to interfere with casual tourism. As I recall the food is good and the ladies have the reputation of being among the loveliest in Central and South America.

Last time i was in Colombia was in 2004...I do speak good spanish. I am thinking about retirement in this country. The one big thing that scares me is the high crime rate here. Besides a friend of mine got druged and robbed there in 2022...I am Dutch btw. still need to work 10 more years...And I know a lot can happen in that time. I guess at 67 I will not make women or nightlife my priority in 10 more years. One thing I am sure of...I will avoid Cartagena at all costs. Not my cup of tea.

EXATCLY! Most of these folks chasing for a romantic relationship in latin america are kind of delusional, simp mentality. They don’t understand (or prefer to ignore) that most of these women doesn’t feel any kind of genuine attraction for the, they just see them as a step to a better lifestyle that local men can’t provide. However I truly believe that some men are aware of this and they ok with that… they know at the end of the day it’s a negotiated attraction (I provide you a better lifestyle, and you be loyal, respect and play honest with me) and actually I think it’s a good sexual strategy for men, and dangerous until a certain point (she can wake up one day and decide to divorce you and take half of your stuff just because YES anyway 😂)
I believe the emotional cost for men with this strategy to invest in wifey material it’s way cheaper than trying any romantic conection with USA women (or from some countries in Europe)
The same can be said for women in the US so South America does not have a monopoly on manipulative women. Matter of fact, it can said that women in Latin America are not as proficient at it as their US counterparts.
If we take the data that is available in the last 3 census the divorce rate percentages is double for women in the US. Now if we take the divorce rate from foreign women to US men which is also available through the US immigration database the success rate is 73%.
As such it would be beneficial that US men married women out of the US.
Additionally, if US women were such a hot commodity you would have wealthy men from all over the world coming to our shores to date and marry them. Even when US women are in other countries they often find it difficult to date and marry men in those countries. I have seen it myself being in the US military for 10 years. The female soldiers were not pursued by the men who countries they were in. As such as the US military men by the women.
I have nothing against US women ar all however, when the narrative is so outrageous when it comes to women from other countries being so manipulative over women in the US I gave to set the record straight with cold hard data and math.
Can a woman from colombia take a man for a ride ? Yes they can, but so can anyone women and, there are some women that are much better at it here in the US. You can lose your home, kids, life saving and it will be 100% legel.
So when you make these large generalizations as to who and how someone should date make sure you balance that argument with the data of American woman too. You have internet service or you would not be here. Way not take it one step further and do your own research?
As far as colombian women having more option? This is also no truthful statement. Me being a Latino and very familiar the culture of Latinos and Latinas I can tell you have no idea what you ate talking about.
For one, beauty is all around you in Latin America when it comes to women ( if you are into Latinas) so that will NOT grab the attention of the men in those countries as much as those men not from there. Infidelity very common in SA. It is very common for men to have several women even of they are married. Latinas are not oblivious to this either. So the amount of options are not in their favor when it comes to finding a life partner that will be just theirs.
There is also a class system in SA. A women from a higher class would be frowned upon are even prohibited by their family to date ot marry a man not in that same social or economic class. Additionally, women that are are from a lower class will it find it difficult ( not impossible) to date men in a higher class as the family would most often not support his decision to date her.
If you actually knew anything about musical culture you would not have me telling all this and if you did know why did you NOT make this part of your perception of correct analysis?
Like I said earlier a man can be taken advantage no matter where the women is from. A lot of time he would note likely to be taken advantage in his own country. So as long as the man understands that this rule applies to all women it should not have an issue finding a woman in Latin America without getting taken for almost he has.

you should ask the men that travel to Colombia for their reasons. That would be much more entertaining. The Colombians have their opinion made up already. Just some are more polite than others but they all know why men travel to Colombia.

Not me. I did not come to Medellin for the females. I brought sand (a female) to the beach. If you want a perfectly faithful female these days, I think you would probably be safer to select a very simple-minded one from the Philippines. Of course will not be as hot as these Colombians but safer. If primarily want to date and the more interesting intellectual and spice-of-life interaction, then I assume dating in Colombia is much more interesting than dating in SE Asia, e.g. Thailand or Philippines. I find that some men (myself probably included) are more productive in their vocation when there is a female in the home life. Something in our hindbrain biology perhaps. Typically sexpats will be consumed by the prostitutes and gold diggers, so they do not deplete the supply of LTR-oriented females. So although maybe the bulk of male tourists come to be devoured, probably has minimal impact overall as the bulk of the society isn’t involved. As most of these interviewed females attest, they see foreigners but have yet no interaction with them.

I will put it this way. As I have travelled to Colombia, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
Love can be found but it is going to be very difficult. They are large cultural differences. I tried to make it work and I soon realize that it is the money they (women) love and not so much me.
You have a better chance finding love in your own country where the cultural differences are no so great.
Colombia is a place where I go occasionally for some fun, but don't expect to find a wife down there.
Not everything in life is meant to happen. So those who are lonely; learn to find inner peace. Happiness does not only come from women and relationships.

For example, with the dark skinned one, I wish you would have probed a bit more on why she was so assertive about the Colombiana being self-accomplished and not submissive, as compared to the Filipina for example which often lack self-confidence. I do not yet fully understand the psychology and culture of the Colombian. I am intrigued.
Men, especially American men are looking elsewhere in droves. They see a broader, much stronger sense of femininity in women from countries like Columbia and the Philippines than in the states, and they long for it.
A friend of mine was married to a Colombian woman. He was naive enough to by her an Apartment in Columbia. After 10 years of ripping him off she filed for divorce. Naturally, he had to pay even more money. And legal fees. He should’ve gotten knowledgeable on their mentality.

Instead society wants government involved in all facets and essentially we have turned our children's minds over to mass media, leftist-leaning education and social media dopamine addiction. I am in Medellin for the gorgeous climate, fertile land hopefully immune to the psycho Agenda 2030 crap coming to the West this decade. I like Colombia: climate like Medellin & Rio Negro 55 to 85 Fahrenheit all 12 months, good air quality,, personal safety is very good, with normal precautions; there are several thousand USA & Canadians with similar social cultural activities, excellent health care, large modern shopping commercial, excellent metro and modern transportation infrastructure. Many physical fitness activities and facilities. Available fit, svelte, vetted girlfriends to share joy, happiness, and love; and to be a travel partner for a weeks adventure in Colombia.
