Your THE best teacher on here and I stand for that. I’m self taught and started to learn to play this beautiful instrument about a year ago and I truly love it. Tough I have struggled to find a channel that actually teaches the type of stuff that I want to play in a good way. But when I stumbled upon your channel for a little more than a week ago I’ve came back for EVERY video. And it’s not just about the songs it’s you and your way of teaching and ur goofiness that makes me really love these videos. You are truly amazing and I hope you don’t stop posting. Thanks dude ❤️

i know this is probably THE most generic comment
on youtube, but these videos (the alex g ones) have been so useful in a pretty dark time. i don’t even know how to play the guitar and this guys single-handedly teaching me how to play the songs i love. much love!

Because mine doesn't sound very right, i got an app that helped me tune my guitar but when i play the chords for this song they always sound the same. Hello Stuart, I'd like to say I do not stare at a wall for 5 seconds before starting a video. The fact you do is, frankly, a little disturbing. Great tutorial tho.
If I’m being honest, it’s more like 30 seconds to a minute that I stare blankly. I think maybe it’s part of my process for tricking myself into thinking that I’m actually talking to a person and not just a camera? But yeah, it’s pretty weird. Sort of makes me feel like a robot.
