Was this January 1945? Why do they never say the YEAR, but only the month? Guess they never thought we would be viewing this in the year 2020!

Got to admire those Jeeps
I immediately noticed the resemblance to our production '46 Willy's Overland (aka Jeep Station Wagon), along with the precursor to the Myers topper for the original open top jeep. All because mother is the necessity of invention. narragansett Bay.
The scenes of hot showers were saddening. These soldiers typically were in their 20’s yet the all look old way beyond their years. The worst thing is all of these guys are gone from us. I pray they’ve found peace in the afterlife.

All we did for the Chinese, look how they showed thier appreciation 5 years later.
Well there was 2 different chinese, 1 who was fighting the Japanese and the other one hiding from Japan. The one hiding was the communist one.

The one that was fighting the japs is the Chinese in Taiwan, not the communist one

Actually, it means "General Issue" meaning that it was a standard item.
