Internal circuit of 555 timer | NE555 internal circuit explained

  • In this video, I've explained 555 Timer IC with the pin diagram and the internal circuit diagram. In this circuit, we have four basic blocks, these are
    1. Voltage divider by resistor block
    2. Comparator block
    3. SR flip flop
    4. Discharge and output circuit
    I've also given the explanation each and every pin except pin number 7.
    For the pin 7, we have to add external device like capacitor and resistor. In Astable mode of IC555 video, I explained that.
    Pins of IC 555
    Pin number 1: Ground
    Pin number 2: Trigger
    Pin number 3: Output
    Pin number 4:. Reset
    Pin number 5:. Voltage Control
    Pin number 6: Threshold
    Pin number 7:. Discharge
    Pin number 8: Vcc (4.5 volt to 15 volt)

    There is a way of calculating the frequency of an astable circuit using a chart called a nomograph and cannot find any explanation of how to do this and would love to see a video with a step by step explanation of how to use this chart.

      Cuz it is named 555 timer....based on 3 resistance that is 5 k-ohms

    your schematic is wrong in a few places. qbar is output and there is an inverter on the output at pin3.
