How To Change Login Email On Facebook (New Primary Email)

Learn how to change your primary login email address on Facebook in this quick and easy tutorial.
Facebook links your email address that you used to initially sign up for the account as your email to login. However, if your Facebook account is over a decade old at this point like mine is, you may want to change the email you use to login.
In order to change your login email on Facebook, you will need to add the new email address, then set it as your primary email and then you can delete the old email that you no longer want to use. All of this can be done within the Facebook app. This works the same on both iPhone iOS and Android.

Got to part to add new email tipped in new email but there was a box to put in password but I can’t remember my password and I can’t change it because the old email which Facebook is running on doesn’t exist anymore. This is why I need to change my email.

I have an issue. When I get to the page and click on edit contact issue and try and change to a new email address after clicking on edit FB brings me to the login page rather then the Manage contact screen. Logging in is fine but I can not remember the password I used to log in and the old email I used to log in is no longer active. If I click "Forgot email" they are sending a code via email to the old address that is no longer active instead of my phone. I am able to use FB on my phone but unable to log into my laptop to view FB. Any solution without having to create a new FB account? Thanks so much.
