2) Yaad: About overcoming grief for a loved one, four-legged furry family member or otherwise

I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it: If not for Bloodywood's message, I would probably not be here to write this. Jee Veerey kept me from ending it all, and helped me to realize that my purpose in life is helping others.

Their latest one Dana Dan is about going against abusers and beating the hell out of rapists. Some triggers but it's brutal and sonically great
They are sonically and righteously above almost all others. I love them

Bloodywood shine where many "I'm so badass, i shit bats" bands fail, they have a positive message that's instantly visible. The clean high notes remind me of Disturbed. Goose-bumps, love these guys.
HOLY SHIT!! Why have I only NOW discovered this!?!?! 3 way combo of Heavy Metal, Rap, and Folk?? Its like the band POD taken 5 levels up! I've got to look into this band more! Great reaction as always Jen! Hope you keep reacting to these guys!

I feel like Jen wasn't ready for the feels that these guys would bring with this, but I felt the same watching this. I'm so in love with this band's sound, message, and mission.

I love how Raoul's rap and Jayant's growls and screams and singing bounce off each other, energize and synergize together more and more with these newer song. Two vocalists work so well for these guys.
Every song is a knockout, but this one is my favorite of them all. You would never guess these guys are a completely independent band releasing their first album, because these guys sound like twenty year veterans of metal.
You haven't even released the reaction yet...but Bloodywood rules!

I don't think I say much here, but I simply loved the look of awe and shock when the harsh-singer brought in such a beautiful/precise tone under the false fold edginess.
The drummer is kicking some serious polyrhythm ass ... of course, India has some of the longest history with non- 4/4 rhythms...30 seconds with any tabla or mridangam player is pure bliss.
(for a cool, 70's bit of 'crossover' music... listen to John McLaughlin's band Shakti (John M on a highly modified acoustic guitar and the rest of the band playing Indian percussion and violin .. polyrhythm heaven... it's probably not modern 'reaction' material, but it is insanely good, and what I was trying to learn all by my self on my acoustic in the late 70's Live : VnW2g6qbbrA
... well, wait, it may be a bit much... it is a huge leap ... I mean, sure go ahead, but, don't hate me if you don't like it... it is different with a capital D).

They are a true indie band, they don't have a label, you shold watch their documentary "Raj "gainst the Machine", that tells the story how they started and thier first tour (when they only had a few original songs and a lot of youtube covers, and went on a european tour after having only played 3 or 4 shows in india, the 2nd to last show on the tour was at Wacken 2019 (one of the medium stages).
The female vocalist is Archy Jay known on TH-cam as the Snakecharmer, she plays bagpipes and mixes indian and european folk music often with edm mixed in. Karan (the guitar player) does a lot of production both video and music:
There is only a few bands that gives me goosebumps and this band is one of them.
Jen i watched your channel from the start and i have to say the person you were then and who you are now is so different, and im so happy you came out of it all so much stronger and you really shine like a beautifull star. Thank you for being you, you are a inspiration.
One of the most genuine, heartfelt relation ever. If I may, suggest you listen to 'Jee Veerey' from Bloodywood. That one song can uplift anyone no matter how depressed. It's an older song of theirs, but man, the riffs, the melody, and the awesome lyrics will strike a chord or two deep down.

Yeah, Bloodywood rocks so hard. For the last couple of years I've been on a quest to find great metal from around the world. Bloodywood from India is one of the best I've found. Alien Weaponry from New Zealand is another great one.
The woman is known as 'The Snake Charmer' she plays the bagpipes and is only a featured artist on this song. Raoul Kerr (the rapper) and her have a song called 'Irish Punjabi Party (New Way Forward)' th-cam.com/video/X0z67CFm6Bs/w-d-xo.html. One of the drummers from BloodyWood is also featured.
I think I seen her do a Metallica cover once or twice!

When jen was 'Impressed' by the double kicks in the beginning, in my mind i was like .... you ain't seen nothing yet sweetheart!!!

She is The Snake Charmer bag piper of the top tier-they shot a video for her at the same time. She is an item with the flute player (see correction post below). has been for a few years now. Thank you for being open and genuine on camera, it kinda amplified the emotional experience this song has given me before, and it was nice to (in a way) experence it together.
“Whoa” was exactly my word at the main chorus. It’s affirming to see your reaction mirrored with mine and (probably) many other people’s at that moment.

Bloodywood is the best metal band period. If your a true metal head you need to check out Gadaar and Dana Dan. Check them all out you will not be disappointed. I promise ya!

Look forward to making new good memories, and know they will trust you now. That’s what’s most important to me anyways. When we live right for years, it shows them we’re never going to do that to them again. It rebuilds the trust we once lost. Most importantly, it shows us how living right, we’re totally capable of thriving!!!
