The sound level on a lot of these pool videos is almost always way lower than other videos I watch on youtube, even with my sound all the way up I can barely hear the guys talking over the video. You should have it too high, because I can always turn it down, but when it's too low, I can turn it all the way up and still barely hear them talking.
27:04 Great story by Billy Incardona about the first time he met Earl Strickland when Earl was eighteen and being backed by a pot dealer - Billy was backing Mike Sigel at the time. Would have liked to have seen that match!
ITS FUNNY HOW AT THE VERY END HES EXPLAINING THE TABLE ROLLED OFF AND COMMENTATORS ARE LAUGHING HIM OFF BUT IF YOU PAY CLOSE ATTENTION YOU CAN SEE THE BALL STARTING TO ROLL OFF ITS PATH WHEN THE VIDEO IS CUT AT THAT MOMENT HIS BEHAVIOR IS NOT SPORTMANSLIKE BY ATTEMPTING TO BELITTLE HIS OPPONENTS TALENT BY SAYING HES JUST LUCKY THATS NOT COOL BUT HE DOES MAKE A POINT WHEN HES COMPLAINING ABOUT THE TABLE ROLL ALTHOUGH THATS NOT THE REASON HE LOST THIS MATCH
i know these people pretty good, Earl mostly. i have never heard Billy's story about "bumping into Earl before he ever left Roseboro" playing Captain Hook out in the barn. that story just helped my crappy day improve a bit from laughter. i believe Ted Harris the cuemaker may have mentioned that before but i would have loved to have been in the car with Billy and Mike on the trip home.and heard that conversation.
Earl lucked in his 7th ball in game 1, had it not fell he more than likely loses that game with a 6 0 lead, Justin didn't say 1 word when Earl shit the ball in lol but Earl cried to crowd about how lucky Justin got the entire 3rd game lol Earl the Pearl!!! Lol
Does anyone really know why Earl Strickland has always been such an insufferable prick? Is he like that all the time or just when cameras are pointed toward him?
Compared to top players they both lack any real one pocket knowledge. I don't understand why Justin Hall slammed his game winning ball at the end of the 3rd match. This isn't 9 ball
At least these guys play a somewhat aggressive game instead of the deathly boring pattycakes most 1 pocket players do back and forth in their 1:30 minute zombie games.
it must have been wired for the scratch in the corner. that's the only thing I could think of. He drawed out of the scratch but he had to jack up and lose all his accuracy on the shot.
When I play Earl or someone like him when he complains I'll say hey Justin timberlake wrote a song for you. It's called cry me a river cry me cry me with the full chorus that usually gets them to shut up lol
I don't know why he smashed at the last ball he needed in the 3rd game. Should've slow rolled it even if he missed and could've beat Earl but instead smashed the hell out of it like he was playing the corner on the next table over.
52:52 - it looked like it was LYING** pretty good... 53:20 - it was LYING** perfect for it... I've yet to hear a pool commentator know the difference between lay and lie! Great match, though.
first, although Earl gets irritated when he is playing pool sometimes he probably is one of the most compassionate and a person who is charitable, trustworthy, and really not boring of all the top players over last 30 years. he is God-fearing and Patriotic, more than you can say about most pool players or most people in general. he still has the best touch and speed control in the world. he will pick up the real advanced and creative stuff like Efren knows in one-pocket. i think he will
Billy's sense of humor is growing or better he is getting funny. "Earl said talking during my most critical shot", directed to Billy. he said "thats what i do' first time ever hearing that response to a sharking tatic.
I did see what Early was complaining about at the end of the match. The table did have a spot on it where the ball swayed some off of the original course because he he it so soft.
Billy showed us just how classless he was. Doesn't matter if you are a spectator or a commentator, if a player says you are making too much noise and distracting him, apologize and stop doing it. Don't make smart ass comments like he did.

Nice.. I was thinking Buddy Hall when I saw Hall in the title and I was like "No way..."
Ha ha. I thought the exact same thing. I'm old, I guess! :-)
Same here 😂
Fascinating. First One-Pocket match I ever watched. Aside from the very slow third game grinding to a complete halt at about 59:00, very intriguing.

What a great story!!!!I got a visual when he said earl was walking around the table with no shirt no shoes talking smack
Johnny Archer was right. This is not the game for mainstream TV.

Once again, Earl's opponent got lucky 😂😂😂

In game 2 Earl did not spot a ball. He was -1 when he came to the table.
00:12 when strickland matches start i scan the perimeter for potential targets 😳😂😂😂😂😂 ofc earl was too lol
@37:00 Justin, your showing too much man, we want them to keep thinking your human.
but didn't capitalize. should have at least hung the ball down the rail.
Earl didn't pay his ball in game two or 3?
Earl lucked in his 7th ball in game 1, had it not fell he more than likely loses that game with a 6 0 lead, Justin didn't say 1 word when Earl shit the ball in lol but Earl cried to crowd about how lucky Justin got the entire 3rd game lol Earl the Pearl!!! Lol

38:00 wrong oops 😳
Billy incardona , sorry I did not spell your name correctly. Could not wait to complement u.!
Did anyone notice Earl did not spot a ball for his scratch in the second game?
Yes
Compared to top players they both lack any real one pocket knowledge. I don't understand why Justin Hall slammed his game winning ball at the end of the 3rd match. This isn't 9 ball

+davids11131113 I agree! They need to have a shot clock in one pocket. Makes the game way more exciting that way.
Restoration
@@davids11131113 do you agree with that now?
I understand the strategy but this is the dumbest game. It's unwatchable
In game two earl was suppose to spot one but hall won anyway
44:34 Earl explains to the ref why he's talking on Justin's most critical shot. "It's what I do." Legendary
I love when people say "that was the wrong shot" and then the person goes on to win lol
Earl doesn’t know how to play uptable
Careful is the word of the day.
I'd like to see Earl giving his best performance in this years mosconi cup
Game 3 why not slow roll your last ball? Instead of smashing it round and round where she goes nobody knows oh wait Earl knows.

Reminds me of PONG
Love it when cardone? Is the commentary!11! U. R the best. God bless
I didn't know Strickland plays one pocket. I thought that he was strictly nine ball.
That next to last shot was amazing!
Earl is a big cry baby.
Well it's been a few months and I need a good laugh from Earl attitude and shenanigans this set so I'm back lol
I don't know why he smashed at the last ball he needed in the 3rd game. Should've slow rolled it even if he missed and could've beat Earl but instead smashed the hell out of it like he was playing the corner on the next table over.
I don't know much about one pocket but the exchange in the third game with scores at 6 each was fascinating
The table does roll but Strickland doesn't really have an excuse. Justin was playing some really nice shots and getting good roles too!
A
Earl actually told me that story he played a lot of people in that barn he told me he played Sigel for 50k in there
2:19 a suspect coopball D: 👋🏻🎱👄🎱🤚🏻
43:00 Earl gives the stick hell
52:52 - it looked like it was LYING** pretty good...
53:20 - it was LYING** perfect for it...
I've yet to hear a pool commentator know the difference between lay and lie! Great match, though.

Earl Strickland playing One-Pocket with Billy Incardona commentating!

1:05 lmao leyman chimes in D: 🤢🤢🤢🤮
I'll always remember Justin's static-clingy shirt.

Oh it was game 2 so it didnt matter
amazing HD quality. thanks
Good win
Gotta love all the 'real pros' commenting....yea I'm sure they could all beat either Hall or Strickland, at ANY pool game.....yea sure.
At one time Billy Incardona was the best 9 ball player in the world...Still a feared opponent in one pocket and not a underdog against anyone.
Billy would brush tables at my pool hall.
