Late to the party but had to say... Your style is amazing, straight to the point, well spoken, clear, relevant... Looking forward to watching your other videos.
Great review and thank you. I think the thing I liked the most was the fact you share watches to do reviews. Nice community. I’m a big Tudor fan but grew up with Omega so great to see the comparisons.
i wore a 46mm pilot for a year then bought this omega, sadly it made the omega look tiny so i sold it and got a tudor black bay bronze 43mm, you dont see how good a tudor is til you try it in person, very impressed with it.
This is perfect. I've been in love with Tudor black bays for so long now. Great comparison to help give better education of what it's like to own one. Thank you for the insight.
These two watches, both the blue ones, where on my list as the last ones to choose from. I already tried the Omega on my wrist in a jeweller store, Tudor is harder to find so I did not tried it yet until I came to Amsterdam. A store had both of them. I choose the Tudor due to some small differences. I liked the symmetry, the lack of the date that ofcourse can also make you choose the Omega. The real thing that made me choose the Tudor was it is more easy on the eye. The Omega Seamaster is really glossy, that gave me a more cheaper feel, just like a lot of blingbling. Saying that, the Omega is a great watch too but for me the Tudor was the best choice. Less shiny/glossy, with an extra Nato strap and, for me, the better looking.
Was in this exact position today 2018 seamster or Tudor blackbay 2018 in-house movement, went Tudor as preferred the bracelet and the hands. I know they are not main points to compare but that's what it came down to for me
Excellent review. Concise and informative without being too academic and rambling. I have an older Seamaster and a new Tudor Pelagos in blue. I love them both.
This is much better than most formal reviews I've seen. Instead of giving each watch arbitrary ratings in equally arbitrary categories, you highlighted the advantages of both. I like that you didn't pick a "winner", and you let the watches speak for themselves. Thank for this review, and I look forward to more in the future.
Omega for me~ While tudor is a nice watch, the Omega is truly a tested watch while the Black Bay is a cheaper version of the Rolex..You can't go wrong with either but I prefer the date function, grade mechanism, of the Omega~
I have the same SMP and it is a truly beautiful watch, never get tired of looking at it and it will be with me until to the end. It is so comfortable, you almost forget you've got a watch on.
I wear my rolex 4060 most days but want to add either one of these into my rotation ..Thanks for helping me pick one,I think I favor the Tudor over the omega
Fantastic review! Thanks for taking the time to do this. I have the Tudor BB in red and black and love them. I feel the 41 mm is a perfect size for me. I LIKE my Submariner at 40 mm and like my Explorer 2 at 42, but LOVE my Tudors at 41. Cant beat the lume on the Tudors, as they last all night long. Very understated watches but when I look at my wrist, I know how awesome they are. Keep up the great reviews.
Thanks for the review, I wore both watches today and I'm torn between them. I agree with everything in the video the bezel when turned on the Tudor is amazing like opening up a safe but the ceramic on the Omega shines. Tbh I'm edging more towards the Omega.
I was looking at both of these watches about 6 months ago, both are phenomenal. I chose the Omega simply because of the date function. If the Tudor had a date wheel, I most likely would have bought the BBB instead of the Blue Ceramic Seamaster. Great review Bruce!
Great review , my black bay Tudor is on its way as we speak 🥰 . I do have a professional omega but wow that Tudor stole my heart ❤️. Eager to have it on my wrist.
I would agree with the Cal 8800 predication. ( great reviews by the way) The biggest complaint from watch collectors of OMEGA has been thickness, the 8800 accomplishes this by the size of the new movement. Looking at the landscape today, the Planet Ocean METAs piece 40mm, has an 8800 Cal, the new Aqua Terra 38mm are equipped with the 8800 Cal. But it is important to note that the 8800 Cal has 50 hours of power reserve, due to a one barrel system, and excludes the easy time zone function ( hour independence movement). But with this sacrifice, OMEGA accomplishes a slimmer profile. If you are an owner of a 2500 Cal Diver, and see the 8800 Cal Diver Pro come out, it is an upgrade. You will have a open case back, a bit more power reserve (48 vs 50), a 4 year warranty, and most importantly a METAs watch that will be 15,000 Gauss anti-magnetic. VM
There are so many Tudor BB's for sale in the used market. I dont think they would ever be collectibles, unless you get the 58 or the GMT. Also the Tudor case is a scratch magnet.
Good video and stunning images! Both gorgeous watches, the Tudor is £2k cheaper than the Omega in the UK, considering the price difference the quality of the Tudor is tremendous.
when you put both against the light, you can clearly see how much better reflection is on omega as it reflects from the dial while tudor's reflection is mostly from the front glass.
I debated between the two for a long time. I went with the Black Bay because it more practical for my needs at the moment. I bought mine on the leather strap and I love the watch! This is definitely the watch you take skiing or kayaking and diving and passes at work with a suit. I'm saving now for an Omega Aqua Terra, which is a fantastic watch as well.
Bruce Williams Hi Bruce, The master coaxial with blue dial. I tried both sizes and the 41,5mm is the way forward. It'll be a while before I'm ready for the plunge. Hopefully by then there will a couple of pre-loved ones on Chrono24.
Bruce, excellent video and review! I want to buy my "first luxury" watch and I cannot decide between Tudor Black Bay and Omega Seamaster. I saved for 2 years and time has come-:) Your review helped me to make my choice..thanks!
just bought the new in house movement, my dealer sold it to me one month early. machine confirmed, one second fast per day. 5 days have gone by, actually it is a few seconds off, total. really happy. got the black one, with the steel bracelet. $2550 brand new. great deal
thanks, I agree. plus most dealers will not sell it till december. I got used the height of the watch, but most importantly, still accurate to the second, 7 days later, is that even possible? even the machine had +1 per day. So all the haters of the new in house movement, for now, knock on wood, i love it. I almost got the old version, my dealer was offering it for $2100, brand new, great price!
I have a Seamaster sword hands which I love, but I just saw a pre-pwned Black Bay in the local jewellers. The Tudor is such a distinctive look with the hands and deep red bezel. Both great looking watches.
Tudor is really hot right now (see Frederico's latest video on this subject), so the attraction of owning a Black Bay is easy to understand and will get you approving nods from the watch community. That said, the chunkiness of the Tudor compared to the delicate lines of the Omega is a pretty striking contrast and makes the decision easy for me: I would choose the Omega on purely aesthetic reasons alone. If I wanted a Black Bay, I would be hard pressed to justify it over a MM300 though. There's enough in the cheaper Seiko to make it strongly competitive with the Tudor, Rolex heritage be damned. But either of these two watches are excellent choices and one can't really go wrong whichever way you go.
I think Tudor has been hot ever since it was re-introduced in the US market. It seems a lot of watch enthusiasts are just now getting on board after semi dismissing it in the first couple years. But yes very well said. The Tudor does invoke a more toolish feel as opposed to the gorgeous lines and shine of the smp. I'm still waiting for Seiko to release a diver with the updates the Swiss do (Ceramic or sapphire bezel, sapphire crystal, excellent bracelet, slightly smaller size than the MM) I think those items pared with what they already excel in (originality, functionality, lume, dimensional hands, exceptional case finishing, etc.) and a regulated 8L or 9S movement- it could seriously cut into the sales of Swiss divers like these.
Seiko watches (no grand) are nowhere near the quality of the Omega. Now they are a very good tool watch and very cheap and do a great job at diving but are not a luxury watch and they most certainly are not lookers either.
Nice Review overall and stunning pictures of course. As an additonal info : Omega Ships the SMP with a new Box, its all wood and looks way better than the old red one.
I love that Tudor. For me, though, it becomes such a cool watch on that aged leather strap that I think I'd personally rather have it on that instead of the bracelet, at least most of the time. But it's a beautiful timepiece either way. The Omega is of course a nice watch too. I just find the Tudor a bit edgier. It really speaks to me, and I'm really starting to get that "have to own it" feeling... ;)
Tudor will be my choice, in spite of the lack of the date complication, which is a major drawback. Tudor is technically very advanced but much cheaper when compared to the Omega Sea-master. Many Thanks for the very professional yet unbiased review.
I've got an Aquaracer. That's why I went Omega 300 diver coaxial. 1st, try turning that bezel with dive gloves on. Not happening. 2nd,I've got an Aquaracer. Look very similar, and I'm burnt on it anyway. Not worth selling the Aquaracer, so I'm stuck with it. Probably decorate a drawer on the boat. Like the Tudor, but the hour hand,is a deal breaker for me. Just not a fan of either. I've got a Seiko turtle 6309-7049, that I've owned since 1984,and it's still ticking along. Know you just reviewed the Omega 300,and I understand your minor criticisms, and I appreciate you reaching out to me. When I explained my criteria, and why it was my choice. The more I think about it, the biggest personal reason is, I just don't see em,and I'm looking. Use to be a big Rolex fan,and let's face it, they're awesome, an icon, tough, functional, and jump up,and say look at me ! I live on a sailboat, and dive, and paint yachts. They're everywhere. You like em ? Wanna pay a premium? Go for it. Good choice. My reasoning is different. I'm definitely not a collector, but with my lifestyle, being 60,and not being able to see the date anyway (cyclops, hate it), being in and out of the ocean, and on yachts all day, I want something i can depend on ,that 8 out of 10 guys in the room aren't wearing. I don't know if the 300 is gonna do it,but I got an awesome grey market deal, and I like the understated look, the history, the no date function, and the fact I've never seen one(except at an AD) in the wild. I realize we're not talking about this watch, in this video. I hope,if you get one of these watches, and love it ? Awesome, and less chance we'll be seeing our respective watches, at some yacht club function. Just my 2 cents. Like to throw a monkey wrench into the works, to keep the conversation interesting. New subscriber. I'll let you know how the relationship goes, once I get the watch , because it will be worn. Whether I'm scraping the bottom of my sailboat, sailing in a storm,or in some subcontractor meeting ,in the boatyard, or hanging out on a reef with a speargun,it will be tested. I've done all that, and more, over 36 years with my turtle. We'll see. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not. If you made it this far ? You're a watch legend. Capt.Bob
Nice review, I have the 2220.80.00 Seamaster and was thinking about getting the Black Bay because I love the Red Bezel with gold hands. I was waiting on Tudor's in house movement, but hate that they got rid of the rose logo on the dial. The new red NATO strap though is gorgeous...Also I think the Tudor is thicker than the Seamaster
Love the new Seamaster. The ceramic bezel is gorgeous, but I still prefer the waves in my older versions dial - would love to see Omega bring the wave pattern back in a ceramic dial.
Fantastic video, Bruce. I really like the Seamaster more than the BB, but as you said, I'm waiting for Omega to fit one of their Master Co-Axial movement. Would be interesting to see also how Omega will price this new Seamaster... I'm a little scared about that, to be honest, lol. Thank you very much, really enjoyed the video. Best, Michele.
Thanks Michele. I would hope its similar to this model. I think Omega needs a diver in this price segment. I don't see the benefit of making it too close to the planet ocean or 300m in price
Awesome review. I have the 2005 Bond SMP chronograph. I am amazed at what Omega has been doing the last few years with the SMPs and Planet Oceans. The liquid metal is just gorgeous. I want to trade mine in for a new P.O. bad. lol
my smp chrono is running great after I bought it new from Jared. but it is too small and my grail watch is the 46mm PO on sainless... Long Live Brosnen's 007 Omegas!!!
Two beautiful watches Bruce. I love that Seamaster. I don't see the 25.2 as a negative. They originally ran the Cal 2500 at 28.8 but it was not stable as a chron. At 25.2 it's perfect. The movt is highly modified to perfection. JMO
I am still happy to own the SMPc - its so multi usable even with - give it a try with a brown leather strap. youll say wow - most valuable watch - for me a little small... but still great
I just bought the black bay black a few weeks ago. It's a really nice watch. Very comfortable. I thought I would only have it on the strap but been wearing it on the bracelete mostly. Omega is eh... Tudor is a better brand.
Great video, very informative and well presented. 2 great watches, the clasp on the Tudor is fully sick, beautiful indeed. The Omega does look better though as the Tudor very subdued as you said. Respect to both but I just bought an Oris Aquis, an Oris tt1 titanium, a swiss army inox and a U boat u47 for the total price of 1 of those, life's beautiful
I still can't decide on SMP vs BB. They're both so nice. I was looking to get one as a wedding gift for my wedding next August. Tempted if it's worth waiting on Baselworld 2020 coming up to see what else is in store before going one way or the other!
hi bruce, nice review. i looked at the tudor black bay and heritage when looking at making my latest purchase, though i felt underwhelmed after trying them on. i also looked at rolex, gmt and sub's, which didnt do anything for me. i went with the seamaster that you have, as i owned the previous wavy dial version and could not fault it. regarding bezel play, mine is rock solid, no play at all. my watch is running at +2 per day, which i am fine with.
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you got a great bezel, the example I had might have just loosened over time? I'm always pleased with +2 on an automatic piece. Cheers man!
Bruce Williams yes possibly, or perhaps copped a brick wall or two, i know mine has and its only a month old lol. im very hard on my watches. i literally destroyed a seiko diver in my 20's while doing construction work. i swore from then on the next watch must be bomb proof. omega hasnt let me down yet in this regard.
Hot Sauce Benny haha, I came here to say exactly the same thing! I wrote down Rolex Datejust and Omega Seamaster professional and I’d be ok with that! I now own the Omega Seamaster professional co axial. Omega Speedmaster Professional moon watch. Girard Perregaux High Frequency. Girard Perregaux dress watch. Gold Jaeger LeCoultre Dress Watch. Tudor Hydronaught II chronograph. Rolex Datejust. 2 more vintage Omega Seamasters; 1 of them being a tuning fork (Hummer) 2 more Omega Geneve’s and a Tag Heuer. Still loads more to add to the collection!!
Great Vid Bruce! Best one yet. Finding it so hard to resist the Black Bay Red. Tried one on and nearly put a deposit on it. Will it be more collectible than the newer in-house? Hard to say. For me, paying $300 more for the in-house presents a better deal with it's big spec improvements than the ETA movement. Also not sure how I'd go without a date function...
My opinion- Yes, I think the ETA will become more collectible in the long term. There won't be a whole lot of difference performance wise between the ETA and in-house versions, but the in house version is definitely superior when it comes to the specs. I prefer the new movement, new bracelet, but the ETA Dial and case height. (new movement is a little thicker) I've found the lack of date a little annoying tbh, but the symmetry on the dial sure looks good. Let me know if you end up getting one and which version you went with
I would seriously buy a the Black Bay tomorrow with a Gilt dial.. however, I'm not sure if I've seen one with a Date function on a Bracelet?! Unless you go two tone... But man, the two tone chronograph black bay is killer, just out of my price range for now.
Great review. I own a Tudor Black Bay black bezel. Love it. As a tool watch I think the Tudor looks better because it's understated, simplistic and an iconic design. The vintage versions were proven in use by French and British military forces. The movement and design has not changed much since its professional use as a navy divers watch. It still remains a great tool watch. True Omega made watches for military applications too, but the design and movement is completely different. The DNA is diluted so much it has no resemblance to its past. The Omega looks too flashy. In my opinion a divers watch should not be too polished. The Omega is more a dinner diver. It looks better with a tux. Yes, it is iconic with its association with 007 but I really hate their over marketing and over exposure which translates to overpriced. I prefer the Sean Connery Rolex wearing Bond, which the Black Bay design resonates. Being an Ian Fleming book Bond fan, I despise that Omega have replaced Rolex (which IS the official 007 watch) and have unwittingly used product placement which makes it so corny and given the watches a terrible acting role in the films (truely despicable... a Seamaster with an inbuilt laser beam?? and more recently a time bomb?? Jeez!!!) I also hate how Omega piggy-backed their marketing cred from the 007 Rolex. They even used a similar Nato strap design from the Bond Rolex for their Spectre Seamaster. Just like the Speedmaster, Omega make too many variants of the Seamaster. It will never be a collectors piece like the ETA Black Bay. The Co-axial movement was a rip off from George Daniels original design too. Don't get me wrong. I think Omega watches are reliable and iconic in their own right. My dad has a Seamaster my mum bought him at their wedding instead of a wedding ring. My dad is a practical man and a watch is more practical than a ring to him. He has only ever owned that one watch and worn that watch every day since 1962. It has not stopped once. I admire Omega for making reliable watches. The vintage Omegas is what I would buy.
Ha ha! At least its got an inhouse movement! battery no less. I guess it was the sign of the times. It was a fun watch and technologically advanced at the time. But in hindsight its hideous and embarassing!! Roger Moore was not my favourite Bond. Lacked the grit of Connery. The Lotus submarine and the Bond girls were the only thing that saved the Bond franchise in the Roger Moore films. Apart from the Connery Rolex, the next best Bond watch(worn by a villain) that didn't appear in the films was the Girard Perregaux moonphase calendar, which is mentioned in the opening pages of From Russia with Love.
Your photography and level of detail is unmatched! Wonderful review.
I appreciate that, thanks
The photography efforts is far more apparent than your competitors, TVG, ablogtowatch etc.
James Davidson Thanks, I use my Iphone for it all. Although I would love to get a nice camera to learn. Maybe later this year
what software do you use to edit your iphone footage?
Late to the party but had to say... Your style is amazing, straight to the point, well spoken, clear, relevant... Looking forward to watching your other videos.
Love coming back and watching this video time and time again. Such a great review.
Great review, I've just got the Omega and I'm so impressed with the look and quality of it, different league to my tag aquaracer
That Tudor is full on Goldfinger with the domed lens and large unguarded crown, absolutely love it for vintage sub vibe.
Great video. I just ordered the same seamaster in blue. Can't wait to receive it!
Great review and thank you. I think the thing I liked the most was the fact you share watches to do reviews. Nice community. I’m a big Tudor fan but grew up with Omega so great to see the comparisons.
One of the most comprehensive and balanced presentation I've ever seen. Keep up the good work!
Thank you!

Excellent video and comparison of these two. On point, concise and clear. Keep it up, as you're one of the best on TH-cam for this sort of format.
Thanks Mark, very nice to hear :)

What did you go for?
I’m between these two as well
@@1983robbo i ended up getting the Omega Gauss.
Very nice video and I enjoyed watching it. I just love the look of that Tudor. Keep the videos coming!

I completely understand your reasoning!
Thanks, Bruce and thanks,Rob for this review!!!
Thanks for watching
Both are awesome
Great review. Agree Omega is going in the right direction around their in house movements. It started with the Coaxial in my humble opinion.
Im impressed
Great review , my black bay Tudor is on its way as we speak 🥰 . I do have a professional omega but wow that Tudor stole my heart ❤️. Eager to have it on my wrist.
Im absolutely inlove with the tudor. Great color scheme.
GREAT REVIEW! Finally a concise, to-the-point comparison. Thumbs up!
Thanks!

Very very useful VID bro, it is what I'm seriously thinking about these two right now. Just can't decide.
There are so many Tudor BB's for sale in the used market. I dont think they would ever be collectibles, unless you get the 58 or the GMT. Also the Tudor case is a scratch magnet.
Have had my Seamaster for 14 years now and still love it
Faheem Wyne how often do you service it?
Another excellent review! Your right, that Seamaster does have more pop. What a beautiful watch!
Good video and stunning images! Both gorgeous watches, the Tudor is £2k cheaper than the Omega in the UK, considering the price difference the quality of the Tudor is tremendous.

Bruce Williams Hi Bruce,
The master coaxial with blue dial. I tried both sizes and the 41,5mm is the way forward. It'll be a while before I'm ready for the plunge. Hopefully by then there will a couple of pre-loved ones on Chrono24.

Fantastic video. Very informative, constructive, honest and balanced review. Love it :)
Bruce, excellent video and review! I want to buy my "first luxury" watch and I cannot decide between Tudor Black Bay and Omega Seamaster. I saved for 2 years and time has come-:) Your review helped me to make my choice..thanks!
riso szabo I'm in the same boat :P
Very hard choice especially when you see both watches in person!
Great review. The Seamaster is just breathtaking! I'm already doing the math in my head!
Haha do it!

Congrats, and thank you

Thanks guys, very kind
Agreed. Bruce's easy going style and to-the-point focus is a breath of fresh air for us watch enthusiasts. Great photography, too.
I'd rather watch one of Bruce's videos to 10 of The Urban Gentry
Completely understandable, TGV does ramble quite a bit.
That stunning Seamaster Hippocampus case back is the clincher for me. Beyond compare.
I have a Seamaster sword hands which I love, but I just saw a pre-pwned Black Bay in the local jewellers. The Tudor is such a distinctive look with the hands and deep red bezel. Both great looking watches.

Another great job brutha! Well done approaching your reviews with detailed perspectives. Cheers
Thanks man!
Definitely like your reviews. Nice job Bruce. Thanks!
Thank you!
It really speaks to me, and I'm really starting to get that "have to own it" feeling... ;)
Omega makes a nicer watch hands down from my experience. That said, the Tudor is very nice for the money and I still appreciate them.
Another great video. Not sure if I would personally go for either one, but they each certainly have their appeal.
You usually travel the path less worn my friend :)
Tudor will be my choice, in spite of the lack of the date complication, which is a major drawback. Tudor is technically very advanced but much cheaper when compared to the Omega Sea-master. Many Thanks for the very professional yet unbiased review.
Don't forget you can buy the micro-adjustable clasp from a SM300 for about $120 and retrofit it to the SMPc.
Very true- the buddy I borrowed this from recently added the new clasp
Great review. Finally someone with relevant knowledge. Very informative 👍🏻
Capt.Bob
Tudor BB has a classic look SMPC 300 has modern look. Both are great in their own ways. I have both brands.
One of the best reviews I've seen, great work .
Thank you!
And you sir, are correct. The new 2018 SMP is now powered by the Cal 8800 with a clear case back.
The lower beat time on the Omega lends itself to a longer service interval which can be seen as a positive.
True
Nice review, I have the 2220.80.00 Seamaster and was thinking about getting the Black Bay because I love the Red Bezel with gold hands. I was waiting on Tudor's in house movement, but hate that they got rid of the rose logo on the dial. The new red NATO strap though is gorgeous...Also I think the Tudor is thicker than the Seamaster
The in house BB definitely is. I would go for the ETA version over the new one personally. Love your SMP reference
The Seamaster looks really good!
Love the new Seamaster. The ceramic bezel is gorgeous, but I still prefer the waves in my older versions dial - would love to see Omega bring the wave pattern back in a ceramic dial.
They listened to you lol
Best comparison vid I've seen in ages, keep it up👍🏼
Thanks
Fantastic video, Bruce.
I really like the Seamaster more than the BB, but as you said, I'm waiting for Omega to fit one of their Master Co-Axial movement. Would be interesting to see also how Omega will price this new Seamaster... I'm a little scared about that, to be honest, lol.
Thank you very much, really enjoyed the video.
Best,
Michele.
I want to trade mine in for a new P.O. bad. lol
Its a slippery slope!
Ross Ness I have a LMPO and it's a lovely watch
my smp chrono is running great after I bought it new from Jared. but it is too small and my grail watch is the 46mm PO on sainless...
JMO
A good and well reasoned opinion mate
I love the coin edge on the Tudor, never been a fan of the Omega edge. The ceramic bezel on the Omega looks classy. Can you really go wrong ;)
love them both. my black bay 36mm is different from yours but I love. still looking for a a seamster. nice review. cheers.
Thanks Ana, hopefully one pops up soon :)
very different look, one more modern and shiny while the other one more vintage..both great tho just in a different way
I am still happy to own the SMPc - its so multi usable even with - give it a try with a brown leather strap. youll say wow - most valuable watch - for me a little small... but still great
may oh may! 9:46 Great view! PS Cool review, you're a really smart man and big watch enthusiast. I like it. Greetings from Poland.
That Tudor is as thick as a Planet Ocean. LOL
Two tone Omega Seamaster Pro is the one I own... I was looking at a Tudor for the future... I just might.
Very good and helpful review ! Keep the good work up buddy ! Take care
I just bought the black bay black a few weeks ago. It's a really nice watch. Very comfortable. I thought I would only have it on the strap but been wearing it on the bracelete mostly. Omega is eh... Tudor is a better brand.
Yes I also prefer the bracelet to the strap, cheers
Great video, very informative and well presented. 2 great watches, the clasp on the Tudor is fully sick, beautiful indeed. The Omega does look better though as the Tudor very subdued as you said. Respect to both but I just bought an Oris Aquis, an Oris tt1 titanium, a swiss army inox and a U boat u47 for the total price of 1 of those, life's beautiful
It's great to see you on here again my friend. As always great detail review of the two watches.
Thanks man
Damn. I like both of them. It seems we have the same taste in watches...
You have good taste! Haha
I still can't decide on SMP vs BB. They're both so nice. I was looking to get one as a wedding gift for my wedding next August. Tempted if it's worth waiting on Baselworld 2020 coming up to see what else is in store before going one way or the other!
Trying to get the money together for one of these watches not sure which one yet . Saving while on a budget is a pain in the arse.
Fantastic comparison Bruce, thanks!!
Thanks :)
Good review Bruce two very unbiased reviews both nice watches, keep up the reviews well done.
I appreciate that
hi bruce, nice review. i looked at the tudor black bay and heritage when looking at making my latest purchase, though i felt underwhelmed after trying them on. i also looked at rolex, gmt and sub's, which didnt do anything for me. i went with the seamaster that you have, as i owned the previous wavy dial version and could not fault it. regarding bezel play, mine is rock solid, no play at all. my watch is running at +2 per day, which i am fine with.
Awesome!
Excellent review. Good details regarding movement and AR.
If i had these two watches, my watch collection would be over
No it wouldn’t. You still need blue, a panda, chronograph, a pilot, a dress...it just goes on and on and on, man.
Let me know if you end up getting one and which version you went with
outstanding review man, very well considered and balanced
Just looking at the blue and black 212.30.41 ceramic seamasters. The blue dial having a black background date wheel seems a bit odd...
Just ordered the red Blackbay.. Thanks, from Korea
Congrats!
I just purchased the Seamaster I'll have a video on my thoughts of it soon.
Excellent! Look forward to watching it
A great review, unfortunately I still can't decide! I love them both owning either will still leave me desiring the other
Ian Woollard Completely agreed. Did you ever decide?
The vintage Omegas is what I would buy.
lol what do you think of the Bond Seiko quartz?
You sound like you know the franchise well. I've only watched the films
Have to agree the quality of the photos really shows off the watches thanks..... I think I would prefer the Tudor.
