KCP and Suggs the best back court defense in the NBA. They will be smothering. Magic were the 3rd ranked D in the NBA last year. Don't be surprised if they finish 1st. They have tremendous length and depth at forward and center. If offensively they can take the natural next step I truly believe this team is a contender.
They were number 1 defense since ASB btw. This defense is going to be a menace. With the added shooting and hopefully improved shooting from the others this team will be a nightmare match up for most teams in the league

I am extremely ecstatic to see that the Orlando Magic franchise is FINALLY on the right path after 35 years of existence. It is high time leadership does what is necessary to bring a championship or two to the growing city of Orlando. After letting some of the sport's biggest stars walk in free agency, after the city's taxpayers invested millions in the new arena, and since the fanbase has invested millions in season tickets over the past 35 years, it's only fair. I believe in the current leadership of this team, I believe in the team, and I know the fanbase is awesome. Let's bring some gold to Orlando.
We were on the right path during the dwight era as well. It's a shame it was short-lived. But I still agree with you because this current magic team from front office to last player on the bench is definitely a different energy than we've ever had here. Even with shaq and penny. And penny was my idol. But the way the guys support each other. The way the coaches give credit to one another and the way the front office seems very calculated in all their moves, is definitely different than ever before. And the fact serveral guysx took team friendly deals to stay, johnathan issac and the front office renegotiated his contact leading to him taking less. He's only the 12 player since 2006 to do that, btw. This team has a really good story and I believe they will be competing for a championship in the next few yrs tops. Not just competing but making a serious run and probably winning it all, sooner than later.

I was hoping they sign him. He fills a lot of needs the team needs. He can shoot the three. He plays good defense. Him and Suggs on the floor at the same time. Relentless defense. He stays pretty healthy. Alot of playoff experience.

@@xviper2k I am very disappointed in the franchise if that is the case, guy gave it his all this year while playing hurt almost the entire time, had the best season of his career last season and was a MIP candidate, poised for a even greater season this year even though we were better statistically this year, he was not able to play completely free due to injury. Sad to see him go he's one of my favorite players if not my favorite active player.
