'Beautiful chaos' - I like that!! Stunning work of art. I can't count how many times I've watched this performance and it still gives me chills yet oddly feels quite uplifting as well, I'm not sure why!! It's so unique and engulfing, another amazing performance. I think you might enjoy 7 Personalities as well which is an original by Hua Hua and is also quite complex yet brilliant. There are many many other works of art by Hua Hua and you'll find something new in every one. Thanks for reacting to Hua Chenyu 💗
This cover is so good... and it was the 3rd time he sing it and each time with a new arrangement. He is unique and always give his best, like suggestion from other comments.. it would be great to listen to his own songs... his own compositions. Madhouse... 7 Personnalities... Sacred Tree... etc. Thank you again Teacher Paul!
This was the FIRST song that I heard from Hua when I discovered him ONLY 4 weeks ago. And I was BLOWN away and emotionally wrecked!! I have been learning of this brilliant soul and I am deeply grateful to be alive to experience his great spirit artistry!! Not even close to DD....This is the song and the screams of a soul murdered.....the screams as Hua said are the final desperation of deeply wounded soul

Yes yes yes you have found hua hua. Such an incredible artist, composer, performer. Such a beautiful soul. Enjoy your journey. This is an epic re arrangement. But he original compositions are incredible. I would recommend bullfighting, seven personalities, here we are, arrival, wukong so many epic songs he has written. May I recommend watching his super boy audition and you see how much his music has evolved and his back story.
This performance is such a masterpiece.
This is one of the most captivating performances I have ever seen. He convey the feeling of his lonely childhood in this song. The struggles he had as a child to wanted to be loved but rejecting it at the same time. There is a prestage interview were Hua Hua explains a bit why he is performing this song this way. He really thought he will get the last place on this day for this performance. But it turned out to be the second place :-). For me this performance is pure art.

The masterpiece! This man has stories to tell. Competion? So what, i will do what i want!! As a composer he must know how various instruments works, and his vocals is an instrument and treated as such. If he needs a particular soundeffect he practises until accomplished. Or leaves the song behind and moves on. (His words)

Fake Monk is one of the famous masterpieces written n recorded about 4 decades ago by a chinese rock band. . Hua has made the song into his own with his different arrangement of the song into an one man theatre performance art

Hua Chenyu really is a different artist. All his music is so new and unique. His music really creates a little world that you can live in. He sang this on Singer 2018 knowing not everyone would accept this and he was very surprised to get 5th place (higher than expected). He wasn’t trying to win but rather do his own thing and enjoy the stage.
