My Father is Phil Morgan who designed this. I sat as a very young girl whilst my Dad designed and built this machine. I am Catherine Morgan. We still have all the original design schematics in my Father's own hand writing
Fascinating ! So useful to see. I’m working towards production low volume molding of some of my own parts, so it’s really interesting to see how you’ve gone about it. In my case I’ve opted for an APSX PIM which I found at a good second hand price, but working out how to design and make the mold Is proving a pretty stressful task! Thank you so much for posting. Good luck with your next molds!
nice video, what is the machine used to push the alignment pins back into the mold called? i am looking for a similar machine and cannot find the name Thanks
Do you have any dimensions of the machine in terms of Length x Base x Height? Also, do you know how much does the machine approximately weights? Please & Thank you.
I see lots of sink on the sides of the part. This is due to the extremely thick cross section. It appears that for this application, the sink is acceptable. Usually, sink is found to be objectionable.

Dear Mrs. Wortley, my husband just bought the Morgan Press brand and equipment. If you would like to chat or correspond, please let me know.
Wow--I have watched a lot of injection-molding videos, and this one is excellent! Thanks for sharing.
Please the timer in the middle, is it for controlling the injection time ?
Thank you
