After row 2 you have 6 stitches, and in row 3 you need 7 stitches to crochet in (1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc in one stitch, 2, dc in one stitch, 2 dc in one stitch, 1 hdc, 1 sc = 7). I don't understand how you solve this, or am I misunderstanding this? I solved it by doing the last hdc and sc in the same stitch. Thank you for a lovely pattern - when you do them they look super.

1 sc st in next st, 1 hdc st in next st, 2 dc sts in each of the next 3 sts, 1 hdc st in next st, and 1 sc st in starting sc st.
