You know, I know its a totally weird thing to say, but after the revival I kinda think Lorelei and Kirk would be a good match. I mean I get why Lorelei wouldn't go for it but They are both entrepreneurial They both love the wacky festival stuff of the crowd like the dance competition They both have weird relationships with their mothers They both have an appreciation for the weird and out there They both see themselves as pretty Exceptional They both kinda have a Peter Pan complex thing going on and I don't think either of them wouldn't mind a woman in charge I mean I get why Lorelei wouldn't pursue it, but it makes a bunch of sense on Kirk's side
@@heathernewman5272 okay, so I totally apologize if I am coming off as a kill joy, but I thought a lot about the series, and I am predicting that if the show continues a huge plot point will be the actual parentage of the characters, and I am suspecting that Kirk is actually Emily's long lost son, like I am predicting that when Emily was 16 she got pregnant and hid it ( a long running theme on the show considering the Kim's , Mrs. Kim's wedding dress could only fit a 3rd trimester women, implying she hid it from her mother as long as she could) and if Emily got pregnant at that age it would parallel Lorelei and the theme of becoming your mother or intergenerational similarities like Richard and Rory. its just instead of abortion or keeping it, Emily Gave it away , which sounds like some kind of secret she might have needed to cover up. either way, all those similarities I mentioned they have work for why they would be a good couple... but they would also be similarities they could have if they were biologically half siblings. So now I definitely don't want them together, but the similarities still stand, and I don't have any facts for certain
Why didn't Lorelai ask Luke to be her parter? Its not about technique but stanima. Instead of all that energy in looking for a dance partner, she should have turned it to annoying Luke enough to get him to agree. He would complain for most of it, but he would have never let her down
