Let's Fix It - How to replace 3DS XL Bottom Screen

- Follow along as I replace the bottom touch screen on this original 3DS XL. This is a fairly simple repair that doesn't require anything more than a Philips head screw driver. mine isnt cracked just saw i ripped the ribbon cable a bit when opening my 3ds for the first time
My 2ds XL has its bottom screen MisAlined which is causing some parts of that area to not function when tapped, id be great to know how to re-aline the screen so it works
What kind of replacement screen is it? TN or IPS? I'm curious about upgrading my 3ds to replace the bottom screen with an IPS display.
currently my screen on top & bottom is completely black i took out the battery & sd card and it's still not working. it turns on but not really , as in it makes the whole turning on intro sound but it doesn't actually turn on. the screens both remain black.

Not trying to be a idiot or something, but fixing your own stuff is so much fun, I really loved fixing my broken 3ds, changing the back plates, changing the analog stick, everything basically, it's fun and not really hard

@@Patronciozo like i can see everything on the top screen it’s my touch screen that just is broken i broke it by applying too much force

I just searched eBay for 3rd xl bottom screen. Here’s a link to the one I purchased (not affiliated with them at all btw). Just make sure it’s the original 3rd xl and not the “new” one and you should be good to go.
