Really the reward item isn't even that good, C A R E E R S U I C I D E is just plan C for the whole game but it takes 3135 days to finish the animation

@@DQBlizzard_ The only nerf I really disliked was the shops being butchered, but I didn't mind the others, as no run can be carried by just one item.

@@tastethepainbow Part of that is actually a bug. Shops will be slightly nerfed after the fact, but Edmund stated that they went far beyond what they intended and are actively prioritizing rebalancing them.

I am happy that he streamed the new DLC. I love Isaac. I love Vinnys streams. I am not going through a good chapter of my life right now, and both these things are helping me right now. For some reason, that moment really stuck with me just now. He is completely right.

Dahm I so appreciate vinny for amping up the volume of the game enough for us to hear the good music. I don't know if I'm deaf but so many channels keep the game audio so low I struggle to appreciate it.

Binding of Isaac is one of the staple games of the 2010s. Sad to see it go, but I'm glad we got one last big update to end it off. I remember seeing the Demo on Newgrounds being played back in like 2011 and checking it out afterwards. Never would have imagined I'd still be thinking about it 10 years later, but it's become one of my favorite ways to waste time.
In order to see the new areas and final bosses, you need to kill "Hush" 3 times.

He already has that achievement since he's using an old file. You can see him screw around in Downpour during his first run.

Isaac! This was the game that got me into Vinny's streams, to begin with. Super excited to see where these streams go. :D
Man Isaac is making me really nostalgic for some reason. I initially didn't want to buy the dlc because I always felt like my 400 hours in this game were... wasted time (I know, I know, time enjoyed is not wasted time but still) but seeing you play this really makes my isaac itch come back.

I haven't played BoI in a while, got Repentance, had the single best run in over 2000 hours of playing this game, fucker crashed my whole PC in the last room. Total system reboot. I was crying more than Isaac.
The person who explained compost to Vinny makes me so mad. It's so much more than that. Compost deserves only respect!

I thought my dislexya returned when I saw Manuel instead of Manual at 1:21:35 , then waited and saw it as Manual, rewinded twice to notice the Manuel, I will start to read all the tems text when playing

Yeah, it's a real shame, alongside Rimworld, return to Isaac was one of the things that I was most looking forward to seeing. He was the one who originally got me to try the game and now its one of my all time favorite games.
I feel quilty about it since clearly this vinesauce guy is due for the break that he deserves, but it's hard for me not to feel the way I do.
So you're telling me, this is a game where you play as a child who fell down a hole into an underground world of monsters, and where you can potentially become an unstoppable powerhouse hyper death god of sin and evil, whom even the most powerful beings in the universe only stand in your presence for mere microseconds before being obliterated before they even have the chance to try and attack you?
In all seriousness though, in the lucky broken run, i just love whenever Isaac enters a room with a humongous lovecraftian monster waiting in it, and it's gone before it can even get halfway through the first syllable of it's monologue. Isaac and his parade of conjoined stillborns from hell and magical hyper-gnats just bursts in and everything in the room eviscerates within milliseconds.
i think this was the first thing my cat liked watching :D she enjoyed the boollits

It's nice to see this back. I don't quite remember, but I don't think I got around to watching Vinny do Anti-birth...pretty sure I saw one or two Afterbirth vids, though.
For that matter, I bought the Switch version (physical, so I could get those stickers) because of Vinny...though I haven't touched it yet. I really need to change that.

I haven’t seen it yet but I just wanted to say that Mudeth is AMAZING.
The Thief (Cathedral theme) is some of my favorite music ever. And I kid you not, Misericorde is my favorite song of ALL TIME. AND IT’S FROM AN ISAAC MOD. They’re just so heavenly yet solemn, it gives you both despair and inspiration. I always cry at least a little bit when I listen to The Thief and my body gets all heavy.
I always thought that Misericorde would have been the perfect theme if you actually fought Mother Beast Lusamine in Su/Mo. Would think of that scenario a lot as I listened to the music working on my high school assignments.
Now I’m in college and am ready to bless my ears once more. Let’s go.

The sound that the darker silver coin (dime?) does is strikingly similar to the coin sound in Super Mario Land ( 1:30:56 ).

It's a shame we didnt get an edmund interview this release. Repentance is easily the best addition to the game we've seen so far, the final chapter is incredible yet painful
