After watching Joel's VOD of him playing this on Twitch, i thought the game was called "Garlic Phone" until i opened my small eyes and read this upload's title.
I don’t know a thing about Gartic Phone so it seems I’ll finally be getting the hang of it as Vinny grants us Speed Luigi’s descendants. Perhaps I should get into this and just curse everybody with the sights of my cursed biological abomination wackos.
There is a party game called Telestrations that includes plastic notebooks and dry erase markers where you basically do this, you draw your prompt, everyone passes the notebooks around the circle, then you guess what the drawing is supposed to be, then pass, then draw the prompt you get, etc. and at the end see how everything got messed up and laugh. Of course being able to do this online and use colors and make your own prompts and such is pretty cool here though.
I can't help but picture "Gartic Phone" as being some kind of Garfield-meme-combo monstrosity forcing players Saw-like to compete in a round of drawing games and when the phone rings you'd better have something good.
This video got me a lot of good laughs. Playing this game with friends has always been a blast and it's great to see Vin check it out with a great group of people!
