the last story made me cry, it hit close to home. not the exact same thing, but similar elements. i also used escapism and daydreaming/dreaming to cope with bullying/trauma growing up and had a friend like this, but not the same boy, it was a group of friends, but i never saw their faces for years, until recently, but i can't remember them. also the third story scared the shit out of me omg... it was so good!

Roy CyberPunk correct, but in the old stories people can be susceptible to infatuation with members of the Tuatha De Dannan as well as fae and direct contact can result poorly for the person. Given the reaction the girl is experiencing from contact within an astral event it's clear actually meeting this entity will end in obsession and/or madness which it definitely knows and is avoiding.
I hope you enjoy your journey seeking such connection but if you promise yourself to a spirit of life that has no body remember you are only allowed to love one person at a time or else you'll end up breaking someone's heart - there's alot of responsibility to keep in order for an angel to like you that way

If we all acted and in that act knew this fact with out wavering THIS none sense would stop. The creator gave humans charge over all things. It has been that way since the dawn of time itself. Many Amercians, not sure where you are, have no idea about the image power they have and it can take an entire life time due to programmed fear that they never do anything but light a candle and speak powerless words without intent. I see spirits as clear as I see people. I can't say, it feels like a gift. Nope, not at all. I've had many experiences, some have been frightening while others have been utterly confusing and outrageously embarrassing. Try telling an elderly man , he's on the staff elevator and that you're happy to walk him to the visitors elevator on the next floor stop. He just stood there staring directly at me, just smiling. When another staff member turns around and said, 'I work here idiot'. I went to explain to the staff member that I'd been talking to the kind man standing a little behind her to her right, when I realised he was no longer there. It was only myself and the another staff member. I worked in caterering at a hospital. There are only two floors before the kitchen, G4 and G3. G3 was the cleaning/laundry floor. G4, was the very bottom floor. You needed a special authorisation card to take the elevator down to. G4 was the morgue. It never occurred to me what floor he could have possibly entered the elevator from, not until l realised no one else could see him. It was impossible for a visitor to have entered the staff elevator before floor G1.

Well slender man is a purposely made up fictional being. BUT He's so widely talked about and feared, there are old legends saying a being can come into existence through enough people believing in/being scared of something.
"Slender man" is not new. He is a re-imaging of the famous Death figure found through out history. He is very ancient and is considered to be part fairy or godlike. He goes by many names. The creepy pasta site that updated his modern translation might try to say he is singularly new but, that is a delusion. They do say that Devils and fairies like to trick, after all. If the millennials want to fervently promote Slender man as his own persona apart from Death ardently enough, they may create him as a lesser deity by forging his creation as a group made servitor, Tulpa, or thought form. But, believe me, the Slender Man fear trapped inside of Millennials minds is gladly fed upon by the all powerful Death and he will collect his souls regardless of what non-believers think.

That one that doll child like creature and a kindergarten class sounds like that creature form another one of your stories with the group of girls going for a walk in the woods but keep circling back to a creepy house and when it became night they saw these weird doll child like creatures that looked almost plastic and had not features except eyes I think. I think it took place in newfoundland. Very scary.

When they talked about deer standing on their hind legs my blood ran cold because in the hills of the Allegany region of New York where I lived for a while they have the exact same story. I heard it comes from a Seneca legend but I don't know how true that is. It is very very unnerving to hear the same story from two sources
I can't answer you about where the story's from, but Wendigos and Skinwalkers are pretty common throughout America, and a lot of tribes have folklore regarding them. They are considered a sort of fae by some means. I live in WNY too, and while I've never seen a Wendigo or a skinwalker, I can certainly tell you, the fae are alive in these hills. Saw a werewolf myself down near SUNY Fred when I was young.
Are you sure it wasn't an Alfred U. student? Haha that's where I went to school and there is definitely a lot of mystery and lore in that area that doesn't get much attention. I knew people both young and old who still adhered to pagan and traditional beliefs and there's so much history and energy around there. I moved back home when I graduated after working in Allegany in the summer but I still want to go back because of the beauty and way of life in the region

While my mom was stargazing with my niece behind my house they both swore they saw something beastly on two legs like a bear run across the back yard that was 3-4 feet tall around 1am. I lived in that house for 30 years and never saw anything strange outside. Inside, I saw shadow people. Of local wide life, it was NY, so there are raccoons but my mother insisted no. I never saw a black bear there. But, I did see a moose there once. Magnificent. They shot her on Main Street when she went behind the local MacDonald's.

crypter27 this beings/entities predate all human religions so a demon is just another name for a maleficent entity we cannot comprehend. And maleficent from our point of view. This beings are more amoral than immoral. But yes the demon monicker can be applied loosely to many of this things as they seem to seek to do harm to humans in one way or another. The Northern European Celts had a God that looked like a Stag on two legs called Cernunnos so these creatures must have been seen 2/3000 years ago

crypter27 this beings/entities predate all human religions so a demon is just another name for a maleficent entity we cannot comprehend.
And maleficent from our point of view. This beings are more amoral than immoral.
But yes the demon monicker can be applied loosely to many of this things as they seem to seek to do harm to humans in one way or another.
I wonder if the infamous man in black are also a form of Fae. It's all connected somehow.
