I have the same brand ,but not solar, I've never had a problem with the batteries but it not as cold here in NS...I have one 300' at my gate and another one about 150' on the road in, that way I know if someone is actually walking in and getting closer....as sometimes people will stop and my gate and not proceed any further. You’re the only reviewer that explained how to turn off the sensor light. That’s very important in my situation. Do you have volume control for the alarm? I need mine quiet if possible
I am 200 km's from town so I dont see many people out near my property all year, so the sensors havent alerted my to any human trespassers yet, but they have alerted me to quite a few deer and bears.
@@AGhostInTheMachine Mine do alert me for human traffic as I get a few trespasser every year at my off grid place.......Many people in the cities use these, but if your neighbor has the same model his sensors will set of your alarms and vise versa.

There is a volume control on the receiver. There is 3 buttons on the bottom ......power on/off, and volume up and down.

curious...have any of these alarms ever warned you of an actual intrusion?
