- How to Cut Antique Glass Bottles and Upcycling Rare History!
This week we show how we recycle or upcycle broken antique glass. We get into cutting and shaping a bit and show off a few of our bottles that are in progress.
You're having way too much fun cutting those bottles, Brandon
He came, he sawed , he conquered 🍻
Thanks for sharing a bit of the process involved in making these up cycled glasses. You are a very talented and creative man! Look forward to more tutorials!
Thanks for sharing, Brandon! For the hutch, you can make it into a hanging planter. Just a thought! I can already see how it can be made!! Looking forward to more videos!! 😁
That's amazing, I love the whiskey glass I purchased, I use it for knic-knacs on my dresser. It looks like it's pretty simple. I think I can do it too, lol. Thank you Brandon
Awesome video!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for the video Brandon.
By the way, I'd like to see how you cut a tapered bottle to keep the cut straight...next video, maybe?
I honestly don’t do many but next time I’ll film it.
Very interesting !
Thanks for sharing
Love how you do this
Rhanks for sharing. Awesome work
I'm rather surprised you don't wear a full face shield pretty sure I would! This face is one of a kind! 🤣🤣🤣 Congrats on your glass cutting!
Very cool!❤
Cool.
Awesome...thanks..🥰🥰
Can your wife use the pieces you cut off the bottles for her earrings? Good way to use up scrap pieces. Does she make lapel pins and hair pins as well?
She can but typically she likes the older pottery the most.
Love it!!! I do the same with all of the empty bottles bottles from the bar my wife and I own. We make candles and lamps from them. I’m trying to figure out a way to make lava lamps. I can’t get the liquid mixture correct 😡
THANK YOU THAT WAS COOL 👍🙏>>>💚
35-40$ is cheap for the amount of time it takes to dig and creek walk to find them. Also the price of gas to drive to the sites. Then when you factor in buying the saw tumblers and other tools used. And last but not least is the amount of time and labor to complete them. They are beautiful and a piece of history you can enjoy your Beam nerve medicine in.👍♋
Have you ever found a Duffy Malt Whiskey bottle?
Quite a few through the years.
@@TheGlassFamilyvlog You ever dog town dumps for marbles?
Ha ha. I used to work in a glass shop so I already know how to cut, grind and polish glass. No , like you I'm going to keep my mouth shut . Nice saw btw,the next time you and Kyle look for fossles you could cut and polish some.
Please wear your safety gloves. Even if experienced, an accident is something you do not mean to happen. I see you have been investing a lot of money in your business/hobby.
