Reading the manga, it's apparent that he understands that others don't like him(when he said that Canada is lucky that he has a likable personality), has said that he smiles and tries to look on the bright side even when things look bad, he gets very sentimental/emotional whenever he remembers his time as a colony with England, and Hima has stated that America can read the atmosphere, but chooses not to. He's genuinely a happy guy, but he understands that life isn't always sunshine and rainbows, and that it's definitely not always fair.

I find "My House Is Quiet" to be insanely relaxing, if I don't pay attention to the lyrics. Norway's voice is really pretty. It puts me to sleep in a good way. But the lyrics are just... strange. Even after listening to it for a year, I can't figure out why he shouts "appelsin!" in the middle of the song. That means orange in Norwegian. Orange. It has nothing to do with the context at all. Someone let me know if you figure it out. XD Also, Hima, you're more than welcome to develop Norway anytime now. We've only been waiting forever. All four of the other Nordics have character (even if they're all not entirely correct for country stereotypes... looking at Finland.) The country of Norway is amazing and deserves better.

Good LORD am I glad you included "It's Easy!!!" That song truly, truly grinds my gears. Right along with "Canada Complete Introduction" and "Overflowing Passion." I nodded profusely at every single one of these. I honestly really wanted a new Canada song, where he actually _sings,_ and another Baltics song as well! Their first one was so pretty, and then was quite literally ruined by two full minutes of ear-bleeding screaming and sirens and Russia talking about vodka. And I fully, truly, 10000% agree with you... characters like Romania and Bulgaria should REALLY have songs. I'd personally LOVE to hear a song for Romania.

Well, Norway is my most favourite character in the series. I really love his song since two reasons: 1-It's the only solo character song of him 2-It fits his calmness so well. Norway is the most passive one of The Nordic Five. So it made me happy to hear a calm, cheering and slow song from him. I guess the another reason I love that is this is not the only calm song that I listen to. Yes I love Finnish folk metal bands, I also love pop music as well. However I prefer to listen piano works and folk songs/musics of countries. Maybe that's why... However I said "Ohhhh... Norway... Why Hetafacts...." when I saw his song in the list. Anyways, I love you still :)
I was waiting for Mm to show up tbh. For me I love it because it's really soothing and what I honestly expected from Sweden. But i know lots of others complain about how the intro is cool and the song is bland and boring. So I expected it to show up. Honestly I like bland things and not over the top happiness or depression so his song was a perfect fit for me.

The only reason I do this is because i'm Canadian and live in Europe so I care about those characters more. China is entertaining and I like him but I have no bond to the country or the character so I tend to forget about him.

The way I always interpreted White Flame was that the white flame referred to Russia himself or something like that. Maybe I'm very wrong, but I thought the line "White Flame, Sadness wanders in the frozen field of snow" kind of pointed to something like that. Who really knows with a character like Russia, though?
Also, my favorite song is probably "The Story of Snow and Dreams". That one really seems to fit the idea of Russia dying of hypothermia over and over again.

Well I guess i can, just didn't want to in case Hetafacts wanted to figure it out on her own, but um i guess it's okay ^.^ no harm done..right? hahaha but it's like a long explanation so bare with me, some of the parts may still be confusing, also this is in my own words of how i see it, i mean it's all the same but people are different and may, how do i put this...i guess decode it differently? but it still means the same thing, if that makes since to you Cose Varie.
So the first part can be 2 different things, A.) a cry of loneliness, like I don't wanna be alone. or B.) being alone for the first time some what going insane, beating someone up or killing them ( first thrill, a desire to kill or hurt.) The second sentence which is on 1:05 I do believe, hes talking about being happy, when he was younger he didn't care about serious adult stuff cause you know hes a kid, hes carefree, he was happy. The next part talks about his sadness or insanity. Then we have 2:23, in this part he explains he had no friends/nothing/ but he did have one thing a dream, i suppose this dream would probably be, to be happy and have friends? Since he didn't have any I'm sue that's what the dream was about. After that it gets weird, 2:35 he refers back to being happy but then it goes into mixed emotions, and basically goes into remembering his happens/denying he was happy at that time but then later on regretting i can only assume not being carefree and happy. At 2:53 He says hes disgusted with himself. At 2:56 He says his salvation is his amusement, well we know a lot of times hes said he found it amusing when fights broke out or when Lithuania was crying that one time at a meeting because of Belarus. 3:00 "Foolishness always follows" which goes along with the last one i explained, basically it saying hes not acknowledging what he is doing is wrong, example --> he starts picking on one of the Baltic's because he is showing a liking to this person and only knows how to express his feelings through means of pain or yelling, seeing that this Baltic gets scared, he has no idea what he has done wrong. 3:04 Is just explaining hes very mischievous. 3:12 Basically all countries have youth some more than others, well until they die so what he said here can be interpreted as him saying " if I die would i be at peace? ( would my heart gain peace?) 3:19 Is basically saying will I ever understand myself, we can all agree it doesn't mean when will I mature, because come on Russia's a very mature country, when its talking about understanding himself, it's talking about his emotions/ his feelings. At 5:02 is basically depression, is their an end. At 5:23 hes searching for maybe himself or happiness, take no blame on tomorrow as tomorrow is a mystery, is what that sentence meant. 6:00 Depression/loneliness and heartbreak. 7:06 We're very lonely. 7:21 He would imagine he was surrounded by friends or just people who didn't mind him. 7:25 Are these imaginations to cover up the solitude i endured thorough the years(scars= pain/solitude/suffer.) 7:31 Is there a meaning to this? 7:35 These imaginary thoughts don't bother him, he doesn't mind making up friends or someone to talk to. 7:42 He's accepted being alone 7:44-7:49 Hes basically hiding himself/his hurt and feelings At 7:54 his feelings will be know, like at some point people will know what he went through and how he felt all the time or in that moment. 7:57-8:00 Life doesn't interest me ( cause hes numb, doesn't know what to think, his emotions are unknown to him like he doesn't know how to react sometimes and sometimes he reacts in the wrong way) but my heart is mostly happy yet always a part of it is sad but i can't find out the answer to this alone.(meaning maybe he needs a friend or a significant other to help him with his feelings.) This part gets even more depressing and well at 13:49-14:25 I have come to the conclusion hes counting down the solitude days till death, but without fear of being forgotten(because well some countries worry about when and if they die if they will be remembered.) 15:42 means is there resistance in the friendship with the Baltic's. 16:27 i can only come to the conclusion that the "white flame" is possibly DESTINY itself. Let me know what you think.

I was waiting for Mm to show up tbh. For me I love it because it's really soothing and what I honestly expected from Sweden. But i know lots of others complain about how the intro is cool and the song is bland and boring. So I expected it to show up. Honestly I like bland things and not over the top happiness or depression so his song was a perfect fit for me.
I'm surprised she piled so much hate on It's Easy without mentioning Cowboyz Boot Camp which, when I first heard the intial couple of seconds Iiterally slammed the skip button and did so every single time it happened afterwards until I told myself I had to sit down and listen to it and I became desensitized to it's annoyingness.

I'm from America and I can agree about country music I find it stupid and annoying.What sucks is I live in Alabama so I'm surrounded by country folk. Also I dislike all the songs on this list (exempt pub and go and Hoi sam and the btt song) and I too wanted a Canadian Jett. Like seriously give some other countries some songs heck if South Korea was allowed he would have some pretty nice songs. Like make Alfred sing his anthem where he doesn't have over excited yelling or have India or Egypt sing a song . I am hoping Canada gets an ending song for the next season.

With "It's easy!!!" I started listening to it to try it out but had to stop. It drove me nuts and gave me a headache.
The way I always interpreted White Flame was that the white flame referred to Russia himself or something like that. Maybe I'm very wrong, but I thought the line "White Flame, Sadness wanders in the frozen field of snow" kind of pointed to something like that. Who really knows with a character like Russia, though?
Also, my favorite song is probably "The Story of Snow and Dreams". That one really seems to fit the idea of Russia dying of hypothermia over and over again.

Well I guess i can, just didn't want to in case Hetafacts wanted to figure it out on her own, but um i guess it's okay ^.^ no harm done..right? hahaha but it's like a long explanation so bare with me, some of the parts may still be confusing, also this is in my own words of how i see it, i mean it's all the same but people are different and may, how do i put this...i guess decode it differently? but it still means the same thing, if that makes since to you Cose Varie.
So the first part can be 2 different things, A.) a cry of loneliness, like I don't wanna be alone. or B.) being alone for the first time some what going insane, beating someone up or killing them ( first thrill, a desire to kill or hurt.)
The second sentence which is on 1:05 I do believe, hes talking about being happy, when he was younger he didn't care about serious adult stuff cause you know hes a kid, hes carefree, he was happy.
The next part talks about his sadness or insanity.
Then we have 2:23, in this part he explains he had no friends/nothing/ but he did have one thing a dream, i suppose this dream would probably be, to be happy and have friends? Since he didn't have any I'm sue that's what the dream was about.
After that it gets weird, 2:35 he refers back to being happy but then it goes into mixed emotions, and basically goes into remembering his happens/denying he was happy at that time but then later on regretting i can only assume not being carefree and happy.
At 2:53 He says hes disgusted with himself.
At 2:56 He says his salvation is his amusement, well we know a lot of times hes said he found it amusing when fights broke out or when Lithuania was crying that one time at a meeting because of Belarus.
3:00 "Foolishness always follows" which goes along with the last one i explained, basically it saying hes not acknowledging what he is doing is wrong, example --> he starts picking on one of the Baltic's because he is showing a liking to this person and only knows how to express his feelings through means of pain or yelling, seeing that this Baltic gets scared, he has no idea what he has done wrong.

3:12 Basically all countries have youth some more than others, well until they die so what he said here can be interpreted as him saying " if I die would i be at peace? ( would my heart gain peace?)
