Perfect video when I was thinking of coming back to the game and actually finishing off a build. (I start with the entrance, and never even get to placing dinos before life starts wandering)
I've been stuck on building this park plaza on the California map for the past 5 months, so this was a nice hit of dopamine. Thanks for doing what you do best!
Amazing video and super handy! The amount of times I have joined a map and just thought: uumm.. huh?- is crazy, thanks for the inspiration and the help with some easy tips!
I use a PlayStation 4 when building my Parks in jwe2. Your videos always help me! Even though old console don't have all buildings, I still make awesome parks all thanks to you inspiring me and these helpful tutorials.
I gotta say Evo, for the last few months your editing skill has been getting awesome ! (I'm not saying it wasn't before, of course) we can clearly see you're having a ton of fun making those videos, filming and editing, and that's great to watch !
3 THINGS... 1. sorry, i know im a little late for the vid! 2. 0:24 BUT IM ALREADY SUBBED!!! 3. this is gonna help a lot, cuz i have no idea how to build a good/cool park AT all... You made my day ;)
Something I would like to see added would be a proper island look for the square maps, removing the mountains in the distance and replacing with an ocean. Would need to increase the height of the ground you place yourself though, can't really keep it ankle deep then.
I wanted a theme of a Jurassic Park remade and rebuilt with a safe and natural look but when I loaded in I couldn’t figure out what to do so this had helped a lot
I’m building a park of the Jurassic franchise and I used some inspiration from mini nublar and mini sorna. This video really helps me to make my park better, thank you for that.
SInce I've been playing, I've made probably 30 parks...and they always seem to be similar. I find a spot in the middle of the map. I then go to the top of the middle and put the visitor's center. I then make a small lake in front of the building and run a path off to the left (facing the center). I then put a handful of hotels, a bathroom or two, and a shelter. Off to the left side of the map, I'll put an enclosure, usually, Trike or Dilophosaurus. I then make my way in a clockwise move around the map, usually ending with a huge enclosure of Brachs and Parasarolophus..... I also usually put a small aviary and maybe a medium sized lagoon... I don't put in anywhere near as much detail and thought that you do. I just want to get the park started so I can watch the dinos...
Good advices and hints. For Square-Maps : First thing I do is to build a compound with the important buildings all at one spot. Then I do my best to create a natural looking landscape. I use all the stuff I have in my head from watching nature-dokumentaries and real life. Sometimes I look things up. Then I think, where to integrate the enclosures into the landscape. And then come walkways, attractions and other buildings. Creating a natural looking landscape on a square map is the most difficult of all. If possible, I first continue the forest-peaces that come in from the rims. The most difficult I find is to shape realistic ponds or lakes. Mine look always totally unrealistic. On the tropical map it´s cool to let rivers end at the rims where there is a forest. This way you can hide the senseless beginnings and endings of the river. Add some more forest in front so the river flows into the forest.
I think they should make a baby dino DLC with a baby tri, rex, stego, brachi, and others. this dlc will come with a campaing where you breed and reproduce with baby dinos, where the babies have a 10% chance of failing. the new things that come with it would be a hatchery (for babys) and a baby dino petting zoo. (a baby version of the jurassic tour)
A great archaeologist once said, X never marks the spot 🙂 But seriously now, thanks a mill for all the great ideas. They're absolutely useful for any newcomer such as myself 🙂
I really like to use a theme before building a park, my latest builds were in northwest USA map with only hybrids and Pennsylvania with only JWE original species (every species except the ones that appears in the movies)
Hey EVO, can you do a park build that is like a big maze from "Maze runner" i think it woukd be a vary cool idea and concept. Like have different parts of the maze as different enclosures. But you can take it and make it your own, i just think its a neat idea♡
I have 3 parks that are my favorites first is a simple one my nephew calls out a species and I build an enclosure not very guest friendly but it’s fun to feed them to the trex the second is my lagoon ocean using the square tropical map cover the entire surface in lagoons then delete some in funny shapes for islands and finally a very half ass attempt to re make my local zoo with less detail because console player
Ironic how you make this video the day after I drew a park plan in my class yesterday If you were curious it was a layout for "My dream version of Jurassic Park" where I remake the OG park, going with a sort of swampy theme.
I’ve had an idea for a Prehistoric Herbivores pack including Microceratus, Shunosaurus, Shantungosaurus, and Tenontosaurus, with a free update involving fighting animations for the herbivores without them, such as hadrosaurs and sauropods
That would look cool with all the old imperial pagodas, they could give you dragon statues too that'd be cool. P.s. I did like the comment, great idea.
@@EFGloryUnited_12 that would be something cool too. I'd pay $10-15 to have an African themed park with new species and decorations like tribal masks, spears and shields. A South American one would be really cool too they could put in the titan boa.
tbh I build the same way ;) But for my all species park, I had to plan to make sure I'd end up with enough habitats. The perfect opportunity to share some tips with people who always ask me how to do park layouts
What's something you struggle with that you could use tips for?
Life.
(Sorry I had to 😅)
Personally it is having ideas due to older gen but hopefully soon il get a newer gen
Tips on placeable Decorations?
Hey this was the video you mentioned
Motivation for large parks always gets harder for me the longer it takes, but I’m 99% sure that everyone has a different way to deal with motivation
This is probably one of the things I struggle the most with, Thanks Evo!
Yeah same
Perfect video when I was thinking of coming back to the game and actually finishing off a build.

jwe1 is actually better than jwe2

THANK YOU, YOU SAVED MY LIFE! Thanks for the tips 👌
This is so helpful, Thanks Evo
Thank you so much! This is like exactly what I needed to get back into jwe2! I haven’t built a park in so long.
I wanted a theme of a Jurassic Park remade and rebuilt with a safe and natural look but when I loaded in I couldn’t figure out what to do so this had helped a lot
Video idea build a park in Jurassic world evolution two, and then replicate it in evolution one?

This helped
I find picking a random country in the world and basing your map biome(s), attractions, and dinosaurs off that country really helps
thank you for this video, i always struggle when it comes to where I want to start first.
I am building my own version of mini nublar and it is looking great
Evo thank you so much, building my future big park will be much easier with your tips
That Info is SO helpfull for me
7:30 As a console player I find it easier to use path instead of a terrain brush
Thx evo this answered a lot of questions
This is helpful, maybe now I would be able to make a park that is close to looking good
A great archaeologist once said, X never marks the spot 🙂
But seriously now, thanks a mill for all the great ideas. They're absolutely useful for any newcomer such as myself 🙂
Awesome video!!! Also I have a question, do you think it's weird that the Triceratops and Stegosaurus dislike eachother?
i don't have any opinions on the cohabitations lol
@@EvolutionSquare that's ok
Thank you for doing my idea!
holy crap this is amazing! gonna keep this in mind when I start playing planet zoo again!
This is from 2days ago and it just notified me now
Strange fact:
Choose Isla Nublar or Sorna and mountains light(or how it called, idk) and ut gonna look like JWE1
If only Frontier would make a Sandbox setting to get rid of barriers for placeable decorations and buildings, that way we can make way cooler stuff.
Omg thank u so much ego I needed this vid
Sehr geile Folge wieder , und ich merke ich brauche noch mehr mdmx 😂
Evo is the GOAT
And I am struggling park builds but this video teaches me a little bit but teach me more
Return of the queen of JW builds. Give your wisdom!
Great video, thanks for these tips! I never thought of taking ispirations from parks or city layouts. Now I have homework to do
All of these tips are rely good.iv naw got so many ideas for a parck.🦖👍🦕 Thank you.
I really like to use a theme before building a park, my latest builds were in northwest USA map with only hybrids and Pennsylvania with only JWE original species (every species except the ones that appears in the movies)
“Not every park needs to be an all species park”
I felt personally attacked
Hi evo turns out I pulled my quad scuba diving so this is very useful
ouch!
absolutely brilliant
Thanks for all your inspiration on building!
I NEEDED this thanks
Epic! One question though, how do you zoom out so far so you can get your whole island e.g mini sorna into view?
it's two images combined in photoshop
I love your videos thanks for the help
I loveeeeeee this channel. Thank you for playing this game
Glad you enjoy it!
WE ❤ U EVO!!!
5:36, what’s that map?

Hey evo love your awesome vids
I hope the game adds the grid preset for the square maps in the next update. Would save a lot of time/saving space
yes! I have this on my list of QOL wishes as well
@@EvolutionSquare We now just have to wait, see if they add it in the next update. If they do, it'll be one of my favorites updates
is there anyway i can just download a park?
Usually, when I start my first enclosure, I reference it from a zoo map in general
Thanks for the tips
do monoral tracks have to be straight?

Omg this helped so muchhhhhhhhhh
Figuring out what size enclosure I should use 🧐
Hey evo love your vids
This is super handy! Unfortunately I don’t have a pc so I can’t play Jurassic world evolution 2 😭
I love these tutorial videos since im pretty bad park builder so i always get new tips from these types of videos :D
Thank evo you never let me down
How do I access the grids ?
Evo also you should make an abandoned secret lab with the illegally created species
How to add this squares on map?
tutorial on how to place floors?
Bravo
My park is split up into little different sections - each one has 2 - 8 species and has a name with alliteration!
3:29 Potato shaped habitat!!!
Seriously, the consoles need park combos! Ingen, Masrani Global, Mantahcorps, the DFW & Biosyn must combine! Now!
Thanks, if anything I just need motivation to go back to the game.
Step 1 be good a this game
You should try planet coaster

Hey Evo what's the biggest map in the game and thanks for the tips
the square maps.
Ironic how you make this video the day after I drew a park plan in my class yesterday
If you were curious it was a layout for "My dream version of Jurassic Park" where I remake the OG park, going with a sort of swampy theme.
Everyone who thinks they should make an Asian DLC with Shantungosaurus and Zuchengtyrannus, like this comment.
I’ve had an idea for a Prehistoric Herbivores pack including Microceratus, Shunosaurus, Shantungosaurus, and Tenontosaurus, with a free update involving fighting animations for the herbivores without them, such as hadrosaurs and sauropods

They should make a dlc for every continent

Maybe also Pinacosaurus and microraptor
What I do is I just build as a go, you can always delete things or go back to an old save, you just have to experiment until you are happy
tbh I build the same way ;)
But for my all species park, I had to plan to make sure I'd end up with enough habitats. The perfect opportunity to share some tips with people who always ask me how to do park layouts
Howdy Evo hope your day is going good 😎
Back of my mind:imma still improve my parks
Question: how do you plan a park.
My answer: You don’t.
I heard "a lot of this video is planning" and thought "oh god an ad read is coming aur naur" but nay
Yo evo trying to do the border is my mini nublar how did you do it
just drawing using the grid lol
@@EvolutionSquareI am but it gets to small
Thx for these tips! But do you have tips for ADHD or autism while building parks?
Cuz i cant get anything that fits my liking
sirry i don't find my autism gets in the way of anything, so I don't have any tips to "help"
Evo, you are the best girl. ❤
JWE2 should make it so dead dinosaurs turn into skeletons instead of just disappearing
YES
You need to play planet zoo it’s perfect you need to decorate so so much
I tried it, I wasn't a fan :)
