Also as many have pointed out in the comments, R9 has hypothyroidism so it's not really fair to put him in the gluttony section.
@@petrovichh7 No, Real had struck a deal with him to buy him if Florentino Perez won the real madrid president elections. Perez won and announced to the world that he's buying Figo. Barca couldn't afford that much money just to keep a player so they let him go.
Neymar has cheated on his girlfriends. Maradona deserves gluttony pepe does not deserve wrath. Because of his physique and good slide tackling doesn't make him get wrath. Adriano was an amazing player with an impressive physique. Even my name represents Adriano.

R9 had hypo thyroidism. I’ve had family members with this. You don’t really have to eat much to gain significant weight when your thyroid is screwed up. So yeah, while he did eat a lot, I get it, he just figured “why not, eating less won’t make me gain any less weight.”
@Boratsagdiyev27710 Bro , Zlatan was victim of bullying since kid for his ethnic origin and his economical situation , I think his personality is like a shield

He’s definitely hungry for the spotlight and leaving yourself last doesn’t even guarantee you’ll get a kick in nor do you know what the state of the penalties would be by that point. You need balls to step up first and set the tone.
@@r7ihaan it’s like you didn’t watch him. It’s his ego and selfishness that drove him to the top. He was and still is obsessed with being the best. Cristano Ronaldo was more Pride than Greed and CR7 was the best player so he deserved the spotlight and winning goals in a tactical sense as a sure win. Soccer is not a team game when you are a striker. You must earn the ball and he did.

Lust and indiscipline are a common thing in Brazilian super stars. For some reason when they get too big, they lose it quickly to drugs, sex, partying... etc.
Im not gonna say R9 did not have a heavy appetite for eating junk food and drinking alcohol but he also had a condition that made him gain weight easier than normal, plus he did train a lot to try and maintain himself throughout his early career, hes human you know so he just got tired of tryna maintain size, plus in hus mind he was fit and pretty much the best player on the planet so it kinda did not matter, but you know changing direction in a flash and having that extra weight with that speed and power, really did not help his knees and ankles at all, plus you know his hyper thyroidism which helps him to gain weight easier than other persons along with him sometimes not paying attention to his diet, you get fat ronaldo. For me even with that extra pounds, he was still El Phenomeno to me, best player in the world while he was on the pitch.
R9 has a disorder which leads to him gaining weight very easily. He has no doubly worked very hard during his career to keep the weight down, but it is very hard for him to do that.
I don't agree with putting Cr7 as Greed, I better example for greed would be someone that sacrificed football achievement for money. Somebody like Oscar, Hulk or Gabri Veiga. Nevertheless, still a good video
I don't think this guy likes Ronaldo or maybe he just has a very narrow view on Ronaldo. Ronaldo is the least greedy person in football. Unlike many players Ronaldo understands peoples suffering and hates seeing them suffer, so he would usually donate blood and give loads of money to charity like the children of Syria or Palestine. Ronaldo has the mindset where he wants to be good in everything. growing up from a poor family all he had was football and all he wanted was to be the greatest player of all time. So it is not greed but crazy passion towards being the best.
least greedy footballer in the world? i think u are on sum he is not only greedy but has a massive ego and hes an arrogant unlike messi who is humbe all the times and never compared himself to other footballer how ronaldo did and here we are talking about football not about other stuff that ronaldo is doing in his personal life he might be a good person but very greedy on the pitch
You could make a super team with those seven. But I'm not sure if it's going to be functional because you need someone like Paolo Maldini as captain and Sir Alex Ferguson as manager to keep them working together. 🤔🤔
Messi also used to be kinda slothful, in fact, even in his best years like 2012 “when he scored 91 goals in a year” he was not as fit as recommended for a footballer. But I’m glad he wasn’t included because he started taking it more seriously later
I'd prefer 1 World Cup ring more than 3 or 4 Ballon 'dor, that's why I put R9 over R7 over the lists of my Greatest Player to ever touch the ball. He breaks the game by signing to Barca and Real Madrid and then Inter and AC Milan. The odds of playing in those all 4 clubs with a deep rivalry (Barca and Real/Inter and AC) in your career is 0.0001%.
7:09 Overshadowed by CR7?? Let's take a brief stroll down reality lane, shall we? After battling through two major surgeries and a painstaking rehabilitation process, R9 graced the 2002 World Cup, not just participating but dominating, leading Brazil to clinch their fifth trophy. Scoring left and right, he bagged the Golden Ball for the second time. Meanwhile, CR7, in his quest for World Cup glory, has been about as influential in the knockout stages as a referee’s whistle during halftime. Since 2006, his contributions in the later rounds have been as impactful as a ghost's footsteps, so much so that even Maguire has found the net in knockout games. The irony couldn’t get any richer. And let's not tiptoe around the glaring disparity in their goal-scoring styles. R9 was the epitome of a football maestro: dribbling through defenses as if they were mere cones, boasting an otherworldly control and composure, orchestrating plays, mastering free-kicks, not to mention his prowess in the air. CR7, on the other hand, have carved a niche in penning down tap-ins and mastering the art of the penalty box diving. It's not just a difference in approach; it's a chasm in artistry and impact. Had fate not been so cruel with injuries, R9 would definitely have a cabinet overflowing with more than 5 Ballon d'Ors, Golden Boots, and Champions League trophies. Instead, we're left to ponder what could have been, instead of being entranced by a highlight reel of "tap-in masterclasses" that somehow puts CR7 in the same conversation. So, dare I say, "overshadowed"? That's an interesting choice of words for someone who disappears faster than a magician's rabbit when the World Cup lights shine brightest. Perhaps, for those who equate football greatness with tap-ins and penalty-kicks, cricket might offer a more straightforward narrative to follow. But for anyone who's savored the sheer brilliance of football in the '90s or truly understands the depths of the game, this isn't just an opinion; it's an undisputed fact.
Beo nobody is reading THAT much. And tell me simply, how many Champions League and goals in total Ronaldo 9 has? Less then CR7. SO YES, only thing he has over CR7 IS World cup achiviments. Only one who can match CR7 is Messi. Stats dont lie
What you might forget is fate was cruel towards Cristiano as well. He was born too early for the early 2000s golden generation and born too late for the late 2010s one. He had almost no help at his peak yet they always qualified for the WC with him. R9 played with Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Gilberto Silva, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, and Aldair. Who did CR play with at his peak? Carvalho...Nani...yeah, that's it. Also you probably enjoyed watching Messi too much to watch Ronaldo scoring goals from >30 yards back then lol

Honestly the take on R9, Zlatan and CR7 is trash. R9 had serious injuries and an eating disorder. Zlatan just didn’t fit Barcelona system and his act is just a persona just like Diego Maradona. CR7 literally scored 17 goals in that 2014 CL season and you only talk about the penalty. Also Ronaldo was definitely let down by his teammates in United when he returned.
The funny thing about CR7 is that a few days ago in a Euro '24 game, he did not once try to score a goal himself, but instead insisted on getting an assist. At first, that looks generous, but then he managed a assist, and that seemed to have gotten him the record for most assists in the Euro's. So in the end, that's greed right there.
I always held it against R9 till I learnt that he had a medical condition that made weight control a huge a huge problem. I watched his story and it was sad because he really tried..
They're more like inspiration to both to young football fans and footballers, take Garnacho or Yamal as an example, Garnacho's biggest inspiration is Ronaldo and Yamal's is Neymar, now tell me which kid doesn't want to be like their favorite footballer. They're inspirations to most people

You should not talk if you don’t know the case, varca didn’t want to give him another contract real did its that simple
@@petrovichh7 No, Real had struck a deal with him to buy him if Florentino Perez won the real madrid president elections. Perez won and announced to the world that he's buying Figo. Figo was getting hate so he asked barca to renegotiate with Perez to keep him. Barca contacted Perez and Perez said they can keep Figo if they pay him his transfer fee of 35 million euros (this would be a lot more money adjusted for inflation). Barca couldn't afford that much money just to keep a player so they let him go.
With Wrath, Greed and Envy, I saw a pattern. All 3 of those players played under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Fergie is the best man manager of all time. Both Wazza and CR7 would have failed under a lot of other managers
I would say Ryan Giggs for lust instead of Neymar.

Or garrincha 😅
Or dani alves
John Terry or Mauro Icardi
Sloth - Balotelli
Lust - Maradona
Gluttony - Adriano
Wrath - Pepe
Pride - Cassano
Greed - Ashley Cole
Envy - Neymar
Neymar has cheated on his girlfriends. Maradona deserves gluttony pepe does not deserve wrath. Because of his physique and good slide tackling doesn't make him get wrath. Adriano was an amazing player with an impressive physique. Even my name represents Adriano.
Pepe still achieved more then he should had
I would say Ryan gigs or John Terry as lust
And how do you know Neymar actually cheated? A lot of people are trying to ruin careers and your just one of them I bet you don’t actually follow the people for what they are and not drama you hear from other people
Envy Cristiano
Hazard was only injured at RM due to being one of the most fouled players in EPL history. He took it easy in training for a reason. Also look at the size of him from his first season to the second he put on so much muscle so he can handle the physicality of the league.

R9 had hypo thyroidism. I’ve had family members with this. You don’t really have to eat much to gain significant weight when your thyroid is screwed up. So yeah, while he did eat a lot, I get it, he just figured “why not, eating less won’t make me gain any less weight.”

Man said R9's overeating was why he didn't reach his best 😂. He completely shattered both of his knees you mooo0 ron.
R9 had a disease that lead to him gaining weight no matter what
Yup, plus career ending injuries that kept him off the pitch anyway. Discipline won't heal a ruptured tendon.
Zlatan has no pride lol, it’s just a persona to make him remembered lol
ok😂
Like I said in the video…his swagger brought him footballing fame…good for him to be honest ..Al bulhayi is now using the same formula😂

@Boratsagdiyev27710 Bro , Zlatan was victim of bullying since kid for his ethnic origin and his economical situation , I think his personality is like a shield
Brother Ronaldo took the last penalties because he was the only one with the balls to score them. He's not hungry for the spotlight, but for success and trophies. Edit: Only reason you Messi fuckboys are made is because your 🐐 DOESN'T HAVE THE BALLS TO SCORE THE LAST PENALTY.
Yeah a Lot of these were just forcing and stretching the narrative, like R9 gluttony (it was hypotyroidism)
He’s definitely hungry for the spotlight and leaving yourself last doesn’t even guarantee you’ll get a kick in nor do you know what the state of the penalties would be by that point. You need balls to step up first and set the tone.

I don’t mean he didn’t hold winning and trophies above everything but not hungry for the spotlight?? You’ve got to be delusional to not have seen it.
@@shamaanmohamed3862 Your obsession with his ego overshadows his unparalleled achievements. The numbers speak for themselves, while your narrative seems to be stuck on baseless criticism. Blaming ronaldo for rashford being dogshit is just stupid
Yeah, he's just a stupid TH-camr with no knowledge about football
6:54 I just wanted to add that R9 didn't get fat because of "Bad eating Discipline", and that this saying is very Stupid, as Ronaldo had Thyroid problems that heavily impacted in the way his body gained or lost weight, even Ronaldo said that his career was a Battle between him and his body, and not a battle between him and his discipline.
Saying that R9 is "The sin of gluttony" is very disrespectful when you see that R9 got his career ruined because of an problem that he couldn't solve.
Having him as gluttony was absolutely disrespectful
Bro, this fricking youtuber doesn't care abt some comments that are made here, ig doesn't know much abt players he told
Cristano Ronaldo was more Pride than Greed and CR7 was the best player so he deserved the spotlight and winning goals in a tactical sense as a sure win. Soccer is not a team game when you are a striker. You must earn the ball and he did.

the definition of greed entails a "selfish desire" for something even at the expense of others and not the refusal to acknowledge others, that would be pride.

Man, i believe you make me defend CR7... ManU was lucky for having that guy bro
Do 7 deadly sins as managers
Mbappe-Greed
Icardi-Lust
R9 had a thing that made him fat, he didn't eat and become fast
Hazard wasn’t lazy he just got ruined by injuries

Best is lust , Neymar is also lust yet best was something else
Messi also used to be kinda slothful, in fact, even in his best years like 2012 “when he scored 91 goals in a year” he was not as fit as recommended for a footballer. But I’m glad he wasn’t included because he started taking it more seriously later
R9 didn’t eat a lot he had a disorder that made him look obese
I'd prefer 1 World Cup ring more than 3 or 4 Ballon 'dor, that's why I put R9 over R7 over the lists of my Greatest Player to ever touch the ball. He breaks the game by signing to Barca and Real Madrid and then Inter and AC Milan. The odds of playing in those all 4 clubs with a deep rivalry (Barca and Real/Inter and AC) in your career is 0.0001%.
7:09
Overshadowed by CR7??
Anyone could win World Cup with R9 team
What you might forget is fate was cruel towards Cristiano as well. He was born too early for the early 2000s golden generation and born too late for the late 2010s one. He had almost no help at his peak yet they always qualified for the WC with him. R9 played with Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Gilberto Silva, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, and Aldair. Who did CR play with at his peak? Carvalho...Nani...yeah, that's it. Also you probably enjoyed watching Messi too much to watch Ronaldo scoring goals from >30 yards back then lol
R9 wasn't fat because he ate a lot, but the fact that he had hyperthyroidsm

Honestly the take on R9, Zlatan and CR7 is trash. R9 had serious injuries and an eating disorder. Zlatan just didn’t fit Barcelona system and his act is just a persona just like Diego Maradona. CR7 literally scored 17 goals in that 2014 CL season and you only talk about the penalty. Also Ronaldo was definitely let down by his teammates in United when he returned.
Cristiano is the definition of envy😂
R9 had hypo thyroidism
The funny thing about CR7 is that a few days ago in a Euro '24 game, he did not once try to score a goal himself, but instead insisted on getting an assist. At first, that looks generous, but then he managed a assist, and that seemed to have gotten him the record for most assists in the Euro's. So in the end, that's greed right there.
