    They turn a blind eye to specifically India when the talks of reparations and apologies come in because they know they'll have to sell their entire country just to pay back a part of what they actually owe as war debt and much else. So, they pretend like it never happened. Sadly no British leader has acknowledged the wrongs done. They dont even mention indian colonialism in their history in school. The population of the country which was literally built at the cost of India still regard India as a mythical land which doesn't actually exist. They're in denial.

      Only 70 years and India is faceing of the real face mask 🎭 of Britain.. 😂 😁
      Imagine if India was not divided itno 4 and 5 countries (Myanmar, srilanka, Tibet, pakisthan, Afghanistan)
      Than India 🇮🇳 would not need to spend money and sources for the wars and security..
      Imagine this......
      In case if India 🇮🇳 would claim the same just within the 10 or 15 years of the independence..
      ..
      Think.....surely.. Britain was forced to pay back everything.
      Than today Britain would be the poorest country of the world...
      ..
      This is why Britain had started to devided India 🇮🇳 far before the final devision of Pakistan.
      All those 5 countries was the part of original India 🇮🇳 🙏
      ..
      Even British insure kashmir and Bangladesh 🇧🇩 problems.
      ..
      Don't worry even after all these plots... India 🇮🇳 would become the world power rank 2...
      On the day we indian will own all of their companies.
      ..
      Finally any body can understand that India 🇮🇳 was never a poor country... it's was just mashed intentionally..
      First by Muslims and than by British.

      @@RSBPlus The Muslims didn't come and destroy India like the British did. The Muslims first came to India in the 10th century but Indian rulers has been fighting for power of the Indian subcontinent way before than that. The Khalji's, Mugal's or any other Muslim dynasty didn't try to come to India and loot all the resources back to where they came from. They were expanding their kingdom like any other dynasty would do and India was ruled by many dynasties over the course of history. The Muslim dynasties only made India richer and that's a fact which anyone who knows India's history will tell you. So stop you hate and do your research properly. The incidents of 'maratha invasion of bengal and delhi' was directed to dethrone the erstwhile turk and afghan rulers of the area and not towards their fellow countrymen. Had that not happened the country would have been turned to as Islamic caliphate. ---An enrichment to your poor knowledge of India's history.

    • @shashankkatiha9439
      @shashankkatiha9439 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Tom Johnson Revisit my previous comment, India has a colonial history predating the invasion of your jackal forefathers( all in service of queen victoria). That was of wolves mainly constituting Afghans and turks(specifically related to mughals) They were foreigners just like you and they governed Bengal and some other provinces. During the rule they plundered the state wealth and looted the local populance. Maratha invasion attempted to kick these cruel governers out of the country and cause a relief to their brethren by bringing their own governance. No doubt India has been looted by petty wolves or jackals but the sword and roar of Indian tiger has time to time torn them apart and kept them at bay...
      .. If at all there would be any local people on other side, they were traitors who disowned their national character, siding with the enemy. According to our belief, traitors deserve to be killed even if they are of same race...may be in your country they are glorified.😃😃😃

      @Tom Johnson The financing of military escalation led to war-time inflation, as land was appropriated from thousands of peasants. Many workers received monetary wages rather than payment in kind with a portion of the harvest.[14] When prices rose sharply, their wages failed to follow suit; this drop in real wages left them less able to purchase food.[15] During the Japanese occupation of Burma, many rice imports were lost as the region's market supplies and transport systems were disrupted by British "denial policies" for rice and boats (a "scorched earth" response to the occupation). The Bengal Chamber of Commerce (composed mainly of British-owned firms),[16] with the approval of the Government of Bengal, devised a Foodstuffs Scheme to provide preferential distribution of goods and services to workers in high-priority roles such as armed forces, war industries, civil servants and other "priority classes", to prevent them from leaving their positions.[17] These factors were compounded by restricted access to grain: domestic sources were constrained by emergency inter-provincial trade barriers, while aid from Churchill's War Cabinet was limited, ostensibly due to a wartime shortage of shipping.
      Good to know that the British conservatives still stick to the crop narrative for the deaths of 4 million people.

Every British or European must know the history of British in India.British arrived to India asking for trade and as Indians treat guests as God, British took advantage of it and backstabbed. In World wars India would have never participated as India never believes in War. It is a land of Sages and peace. Because of Britain participation ,India had to get involved in war and it lost its Assets money and people for the war which was never it's own war.We Indians are haunted by a past which was brutal and feel sad that half billion people were ruled by few white men just because we were not United. What history forgets because of British rule is that many inventions you still use today are of Indian origin. You should look this up. We are laughed at for lack of toilets, but it was India that invented flushing toilets in ancient times. You think surgery and plastic surgery, you think Britain, think again. Ancient India. India was the richest nation for thousands of years, that is why so many people wanted it's wealth, But when a country is successful economically it looks deeper for knowledge. Hence Yoga, well being, Science, astronomy, medicine, agriculture, and Math found it's birth in India. Still India is not about hate for the past, it looks to the future, if you retain hate it stunts your future possibilities. Anyhow, we believe in Karma, that is eternal.

India was the richest country in the world and powerful too but we believed everyone is equal, british took advantage of us and did everything they could do to exploit us more. I work in a MNC and sometimes geta to deal with British customer and when they know that I am an Indian, all of a sudden they are not interested to communicate with me. They think that Indians are illiterate, ill mannered and poor. For me they are just British, nothing more or less

    When your dads a history buff like mine, you learn pretty early on that Winston Churchill is a big fat racist. Even the people of his time point out his extreme and dated views, yet the establishment and the bbc as well as movies and tv shows paint him as this benevolent hero. Which he was not. Even today people don’t realize that what ever was put to us by the Germans, he ordered strikes ten times as devastating in return, with his policy killing so many innocents.

    • @lauryn2868
      @lauryn2868 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tom Johnson nah he’s into wars and ancient Egyptians, not revolutions. But I have heard that Gandhi and mother Teresa weren’t perfect people despite there the image which is presented to us. Much like the image of Winston Churchill, while presented as fickle, it’s usually glossed over all the bad things he’s done. I can say for sure tho, Gandhi didn’t cause the deaths of millions of innocent people 😊

    • @lauryn2868
      @lauryn2868 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tom Johnson no I answered you, my dad hasn’t told me anything about Gandhi’s views of race. But I have heard on the odd video on TH-cam about so called hero’s that are actually not that great of people.
      The theme of my comment wasn’t racism but is a comment on Churchill’s bad destructive character, and one basic way to highlight that is to factually inform whoever decides to read my comment that he was a big fat racist, not a little one, a big one. His views on race where so extreme that even the people of his day found them extreme, and people where still a whole lot more racist than we are today.
      An Explanation to why Churchill is responsible for millions of innocent deaths is proven in the very video we are commenting under. The Bengal famine wouldn’t have been as devastating as it was if not for the actions of Churchill. Of course India had been used as Britain’s natural resource pool for over a century but that doesn’t reduce the severity of his decision to divert supplies that weren’t even needed by soldiers. Those reserve stock piles, could have saved millions of starving Indian people’s lives.

    • @lauryn2868
      @lauryn2868 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tom Johnson I think I realized the point of your comments - To rile me up, deliberately ignore my responses - basically to be a dick. I’ve already explained myself, talked about Churchill’s contextual racism and why the comment wasn’t one on racism as the general theme. Are you choosing to not read the responses or are you intellectually incapable of deriving anything from what I’ve said that doesn’t align with your own bias. Bye 👋 have fun ‘communicating’ in the future 🥳

    Things Dillon said about what happened in Australia breaks my heart. Its absolutely the same situation that happened in India. He said everything I wanted to say.
    Reparations or just an apology helps to heal the world. That's the most important thing. For eg Germany, has apologized to Israel n other countries. They teach about the atrocities and mistakes that happened in their country to in their schools. But you could get a Phd in Britain about history and not learn a line of colonial history.

Then in 1904 or 1905 they did Bangal pertition on the basis of Hindu majority and Muslim majority.. And gave an Idea of starting a Muslim league.. Everything woked was per there plan and Muslim League demanded seperate nation.. i.e. Pakistan and it's party Pakistan Muslim League.. They are the reason of now having rivalry between two nation and two religion.. I wish we become back as brothers.

    Few things not mentioned
    1. kohinoor (worlds largest diamond and said to be cursed) was stolen by british
    2. there was a discrimination system in indian railways where indians had to travel in the last compartment ( even gandhi was subjected to this and thank god he supported ahimsa at that point)
    3.british forced farmers to grow indigo and other dyes which literally sucked nutrients out of the soil and also the indians were not paid accordingly leading to starvation
    4.british said they would leave india only if they supported the in WW2 and they did leave india on a condition that pakistan had to be made which lead to people being killed on both sides and tension between the countries exist to this day . this lead to formation of 3 countries:india , pakistan , bangladesh

    Your insight after the video was brilliant ! I'm happy that you realised that the colonised countries are still fighting battles that were started by Britain and now they say that they're not responsible for the past 😁
    With all the money that Britain owes India imagine where India would have been ! We're still a powerhouse country and we're still humble and peace loving. But we could have been even more great of a nation. Even now we chose to forgive when we could easily wage wars and win. But this difference in the attitudes of people from India and Britain shows us the culture that both these countries represent.

    I have read about what Britain did to the entire Tasmanian indigenous population. And I have to admit, in spite of already knowing how horrific British rule was for Indians, that stuff made me cry in horror. It was many years ago, but I still remember not being able to read those documents and books without getting up and trying to shut it out multiple times.
