The Killer never paid his taxes either. He wasn't the first wild man of rock n roll, he was THE WILD MAN OF ROCK N ROLL! Rest in peace Killer.

Not paying his taxes to an overbearing intrusive government that has 99.9999% of the rest of us cowered like whipped pups makes me respect I'm all the more.

You have the wrong Harold Lloyd’s picture up. That’s the movie actor from the 1920s and he died in 1971.

Didn't know anything about Jerry Lee Lewis being nicknamed "The Killer." Sounds like he had an exceptionally interesting life, to say the least. Thanks for the information, Facts Verse! 👍😎

I think he had something to do with the ex-wife that mysteriously drowned in the swimming pool. From Ms. Harper Stacey.

Even after all he has done in his past all the wild wild things the grace of God and the blood of Christ is able to cleanse him from all of it, i just hope he repented before death.

"Jerry Lee Lewis's gargantuan ego is surpassed only by the enormity of his talent".---ROLLING STONE magazine. In a feature article, it was ROLLING STONE that first reported in 1984 on the mysterious deaths of two, not one, of Jerry's wives. Proper, Lewis was never charged, but one death by drug overdose and another by drowning seem too much coincidence in the life of "The Killer". Dennis Leary, never one to shy from controversy, worked this material into his one-man show, "No Cure for Cancer: "Jerry Lee Lewis, a musical genius once you put aside the incest and strange deaths of ex-wives".

The emotional intensity of Jerry Lee’s performances was partly due to his Pentecostalist upbringing. Pentecostal services are known for their high levels of emotional expression.

To hear that a man with his kind of talent and abilities, and all the opportunities that had been opened up to him especially to have Elvis Presley as a friend, and yet he seemed to be on a path or was determined to destroy everything and everyone he was involved with. Elvis had his demons but Jerry Lee Lewis had the devil with him which makes me wonder what did the people who were close with him in the end actually think of him. Did he settle down in the last few years before he died and become a more personable guy or was he still wild and obnoxious?

No Jerry Lee couldn't touch Elvis. And Elvis had a great deal of things wrong with him. The drugs just contributed to it.

I don’t know. I think the narrator/channel is a bit bias of him. Some of the accusations aren’t backed up by evidence and are merely theories and rumors. Yes the bit about his first wife/cousin is true. But a lot of the other stuff is theories and rumors.

Jerry Lee Lewis was a jerk! A loudmouth alcoholic, too! We know him from when he appeared at Batchelor’s Three, Joe Namath’s restaurant & bar in Ft. Lauderdale. Jerry Lee rarely showed up for his performances. Many times he sent his father to cover for him. When he did show up he was hours late & too drunk to perform. He stayed at a motel which we managed. He was a horror!
