I love that black mono chromatic outfit you look great in it. Also I want to say about the earrings: when I wear a necklace it draws attention to my turkey neck but when I exclude the necklace and wear the earrings vision is drawn up to my ears and off my neck. I’ve gotten rid of my short necklaces And wear either long very long necklace or just earrings

I’m so thrilled to have found your channel. I am a classic style gal and coming into my 50’s now. I know I need to make some changes away from trendy items and back to classic items. Your video challenged me and I cleaned out my closet today. I’m embarrassed at the amount of clothes I have and just how much I don’t even wear but couldn’t get rid of until today. I’m down by about 60% of my wardrobe and was excited to see the quality of my choices that I kept. I’m not far off from adding just a few keys separates and I will be back in the grown up style I feel polished and professional wearing. Thank you so much for your video. I’m forever grateful and now a forever fan and subscriber.
My mother always wore a hat and kit gloves. She never rolled her sleeves because she use to tell me that you'ld look like a "Washwoman" LOL, but I do roll my sleeves all the time now, down to my light jackets. She would be appalled. :-)
i had to beg my mother to let me pierce my ears. in her era that was a no-no. guess who had her's pierced a few years later? gotta love our mother's advice!

I never had my ears pierced until a few years ago when my husband said, I will never get you expensive diamond earrings if you don't get your ears pierced. You would only lose them. So I got my ears pieced and true to his word, for Christmas that year, he bought me diamond studs. :-)
You're so right about all of these points. Regarding pointed toed shoes, I have wide feet and my little toes always blister, so I think I'll try going a half size bigger to give that area more wiggle room.
I have the same issue and I have fallen in love with the French tuck. I just tuck a small portion of my sweater or shirt in at the very front. It is very flattering.
Great video! There's not an outfit here that you don't look stunning in. I've always liked hats. I just ordered two new ones! My grandmother loved pins and brooches,expensive and costume. She left a beautiful collection to me. I treasure them and often wear them w/ my outfits. I think you and I are "style sisters "😄 Best wishes!

But one we can't follow here is to layer up .something practically impossible in Brazil in the central and northern regions is to use overlap. putting on a single layer of clothing often makes us sweat a lot. and nothing less elegantt than a face shining with sweat or sweat stains under the arms, right? I have watched many videos that use the phrase “look expense.” It always makes me smile, but there really isn’t another phrase that relays the meaning of “look expensive.” Well dressed and chic is usually associated with clothing and accessories that are expensive and unaffordable for the majority. We know that money can’t buy taste, but I think we all want to achieve the look that money can buy (without breaking the bank of course). 😊
Rather than think of the word expensive as meaning costing a lot of money, think of it as meaning looking thought out and well put together and clean and neat and attractive. Expensive does not necessarily have to indicate costing a lot of money. Think of it as the opposite of disheveled or sloppy. Think outside the box when looking at these things. You must be aware that you can purchase things that are inexpensive and yet are so well detailed and put together that you would say it looks expensive even though the price is low.

Don't get hung up on the word "expensive". I love it but insert the words" finished, completed, sharpened, dressier, more charming" instead. Whatever! Go for the result girls, not the verbage! Very good video by the way! I wish shoe designers would make more variety in wide shoes.
Great video. I have learned to love hats since we moved from Florida to Berlin. Hats are a necessity for winter but I have found I love them for summer sun too. Then there are windy days, rainy days, etc. We walk everywhere and I almost always wear a hat when outside.

Love these tips, and I naturally roll my sleeves & display scarves year round. The draped outer layer idea cracked me up considering my windy climate. Pretty sure I’m clutzy enough that I’d achieve lift-off!
Hats yes you are right ! Yes my mother always wore a hat. She passed away last year at 89. I often miss her. I wish I had kept her hat collection. We got rid of everything when clearing out.
Wow, those suggestions are great. I used to do a lot of those things, but after gaining so much weight. I don't feel comfortable doing some of these things. Women sometimes are cruel to each other. So I don't dare put my shirt in . I do love looking at a well put together woman. I always compliment them on how great they look. Maybe I can get back to the other suggestions.
