I spent 69 days in Bangladesh and loved every minute!
Look who's here. My guy Brent 😊
Hello sir
We miss you brent 😢
We miss YOU ❤
I saw you came to Bangladesh😊
Love Bangladeshi people. Very friendly. I hope to visit Bangladesh one day
Everyone has been so welcoming☺️
Advance welcome to Bangladesh
i am glad you found faisal today ...
This woman in black may be a scammer. Police should take steps against her. He did this behavior with other travelers as well before
*She is a Indian Rohingya.*
❤❤
She's probably an India refuge
Once I read in newspaper, there are some multilingual people in New market area, they had traditional profession to help foreigners to buy things in New market. They are fluent in at least few languages even they are not educated. The suspicious women was also fluent in Englisch. I guess, she is not scammer, but a guide for New market area.
Nowadays those people do not have customers since foreigners don't stay in Sheraton Hotel but in Gulshan area.
That's true. But the way she was annoying them even after rejection from guests bound us to think about scams.@@azharulislam4975
Looks great there, very friendly and polite people.
Yea the people have been super friendly!

7:10 while you said him that you want 2 bananas guess what the shop keeper said, he said give them the best of two. What a nice guy
But how could 2 bananas be 40?
@@azizaayeshaquaderyorthy8756 In Dhaka city 2 banana 20 tk & 2 chai 20 tk. In village site you can buy 5/6 banana in 20 tk.
Tea ☕women 🫡 🤣@@azizaayeshaquaderyorthy8756
@@azizaayeshaquaderyorthy8756 they also took 2 cups of milk tea, so its 15 + 15 for banana and 5 + 5 for milk teas
Go to Jamuna Future Park or Basundhara. New Market is kinda local market.
If you really wanna enjoy Bangladesh, Go outside Dhaka.

23:04 it is beetle nuts and the guy asked not to put jarda which would give you a high. so that's sweet of him
Yeah, I hope they find people like Faisal throughout Bangladesh 😊
yes, betel nut/betel quid (actually the nut is the areca nut + the leaf is the betel leaf). it's fairly common throughout South and SE Asia. in Southern China and Taiwan they call it binlang. every area makes it a little different. i'm not a fan of it, but it's has a very long history and traditions across many cultures.
Yeah! Faisal asked the vendor to not to put jarda( strong-raw tobacco). Great sense of responsibility Faisal.
Wow what a great guy Faisal is... Faisal is on his way to his house, then ends up showing 2 random Scots around for 4 hrs what a legend
I really enjoyed your video, your fun. Stay happy and enjoy your stay in BD
Thank you so much 😁
Yeah, hoping that you guys have a good journey while exploring Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Hi Alan and Shannon, welcome to Dhaka. If you are interested I can show you both around the British club here in Dhaka. You’ll find a few other irishmen who have been here for a while doing business and get to know their point of view also.
Awww this sounds great but unfortunately we are no longer in Dhaka🥲
8:17 his hair was white and we can't dye it black for religious reason so we put henna on hair and it get orange
Thank you for the explanation. I’ve always wondered why and thought it was just for fashion 😂. Is there a reason why black is not allowed? What about other more natural looking colors like dark brown?
@@ja5oc well am not Scholar but as much as I know it's Haram or forbidden the messenger prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said so. You can dye any color except black or likely black. If your hair got white in old age you can't dye black.
@@takdirulalompritom I see. Thanks mate!
@@ja5oc If your hairs become white because of your age then it's forbidden to dye those hair with black in Islam cause it means you are trying to hide your age . Hiding age is haram is Islam . You can dye your hair with any color but not black . But if your hairs get whiten for any diseases in early age then you can dye it with Black .
I don't recommend eating street foods in Dhaka at all, for the sake of your stomach. Especially those sauces too. This is coming from a native.
Agreed
Dhaka University foods aren’t street duh
@@akari959 Ya, but not much of an upgrade either.
@@abuaiubansaryhamim7045 but still they're not exposed to road dirts as like the vendor catts

❤️❤️
The bag is more cheaper than you have paid for it. It's nearly 300 hundred taka. In bangladesh when you are purchasing anything, you sound pay half of their asking price maybe sometimes less than that.
Impossible to get it to that price as a foreigner, we still got a good price for the quality of the bag
@@alanshannon3884 No you can. You could easily pay 400 for that bag.
You should visit
1.Cox’s Bazar. Longest beach in the world. Cox’s Bazar has many different kind of hotels like 5 star and other like Eco Resort as Mermaid beach resort, camp in Cox Resort ect.
2.Barishal. You can go Barishal by launch. It's call the Titanic of Bangladesh.
3.Sylhet. ratargul swamp forest,Lala Khal, bisana kandhi, India -Bangladesh border, tea garden etc.
it's amazing they are fearless in eating food where they may get sick and all. And, they go to all these places where you absolutely see no other Europeans around. You have to be very adventurous to do what they are doing. They will have a lot to show their children when they are older.
Faysal, decent guy. thanks mate.
Any updates about Laos? Did you have a good or bad experience there? Good luck to all your journeys!
Gonna planned to go to Bangladesh !❤️

Faisal bhai didn’t take you to kolabhaban (arts building) of Dhaka University! On that side there are few historic sculptures
Welcome to Bangladesh, Khulna.
22:54 that's commonly chewed in that region, Indians chew them, too. The ingredients are up to you but the base is the betel leaf (obviously), areca nut and lime. That chap was very nice to help you concoct a mild version of it and even paid for it! The stronger ones can contain tobacco and spices to give you a kick or help you being awake. Not advisable to take strong ones if its the first time for yous. The older generations especially the ladies love chewing this stuff. It's usually spat out when you're done sucking in the juices.
Faisal the legend: Remember the name
You said it!!
New market is actually a 'bazar' for local products with cheaper price . You can Check Jamuna Future Park (The largest shopping complex in South Asia ) and Bashundhara Shopping mall also. These are the popular shopping complexes in Bangladesh.
If you want explore more in Bangladesh you need to visit Cox bazaar also you can go sylet, rajshahi, sundarbon. Nearest in dhaka you can go panam city also.

It's "Curzon Hall" the locals pronounce it Carjon lol
Welcome to Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Please come and explore. If you come just lemme know
What made you come to Bangladesh??? A wee bit far to travel from the Highlands and Lochs??? I wonder if you thought the guard with the red hair had any Scottish roots 🤣
Go to Gulshan you guys will enjoy there.
I think Dhaka is off the usual Asian tourist map, hence the Curiosity from the locals.
By the way you were chewing on the Beatle nut wrapped with parnleaf.
Bangladeshis have curiosity as a general part of their character
It's ramadan that's why it seems empty besides yesterday was national holiday.
Yes we were out during the holiday, was a great first day☺️
