Linny the Guinea i can never replace a pet. All of their personalities is diffrent than any other pet i'll ever have. But getting new guinea pigs if you are missing having guinea pigs, will bring happiness. Thats why i said that. But he or she said i miss my guinea pig. Not pigs. So he or she only had one and that is a mistake most people dont know. So i wanted to say that too for when he or she gets new guinea pigs.
It is sad to lose one. But it’s still great joy to bring more into the family if you have the space and resources. Find a shelter if needed because there are tons who need a home. I adopted two of mine at the guinea pig rescue in north Texas.

He lets me carry him out of the cage to go to his room, but flat out refuses to be returned to his cage. :)) Just patient and consistent - don't force them, but wait it out for them to be comfortable enough to come to you.
Mine looks like yours. He's all white tho. 😅 He popcorns a lot too... Not this much. But yeah, sometimes I think he just popcorns for simply existing or something. Ha, he's so cute. Yours too.

i feel you with the gunieas in heaven...i lost my tilt he had vertigo and died of a stroke at a younge age...im happy i made his life happy ....i was like a mother to him...in a school full of abusive kids...i saw what they do to the animials and steped in took responibilty...protected my little baby... i miss hearing him purr even now it makes me want to cry...your not alone greiveing is normal and moveing on it healthy i hope you are happy with your little corky guinea pig
My guinea pig Youki- Herbie's white version acted exactly the same when was younger. That is normal behavier for long haired guinea pigs. It is tickling them. They are annoyed but happy in the same time. Love Herbie. This name is perfect for such a perfect piggy💞

I then discovered a hard bump above one of her eyes and took her to the vet. But I got some medicine and the vet didn't think it was something serious. But after around a week when I was going to give her her medicine I found her lying in the cage twitching. I had her in my lap for about twenty minutes while I tried calling the vet(but since it was a sunday no one was working) so she died in my lap. It was one of the most traumatic things I've ever been through. The worst thing was that she was only a year old. The next day I got another piggie because I didn't want the one who was left behind to be alone. Loosing something so precious is so painful I can't even put words to it so I totally understand how you're feeling. Plus Henry was super sweet. I've always loved his little nose. Do all male piggies have that little forward bump on their noses? I've only had females so I wouldn't know.
Im so sorry for your loss, i had a guinea pig called gizmo and he was a fully Gray teddy bear, it was a sunday too and i found his gasping for air in my arms, he died shorty after about 5 mins, we kept his body for about an hour so we could mourn then we buried him in our garden with loads of flowers, and the whole reason he died was because another 1 of my many guinea pigs really made him weak and he got a small cold, as even a baby piggle could fight off with a few sneezes and coughs, that is the sad part

RIP Henry! I lost a piggy recently due to an illness. Both of my pigs got it, and even though they both took medicine, sadly Jerry, my American Guinea pig, passed. Beary, my Abyssinian, is now well and happy though!

Henry passed away over a year ago, he didn't seem ill at all, so it was surprising when I found out that he's left me ;(. I only got Herbie this year. It's great to be keeping another piggie again. :D
