I told myself I wouldn't buy this as it wasn't the kind of WW2 era I wanted to play but looking at some of these maps, it looks fantastic and I bought 2 copies for me and my brother. BFV is not a WW2 piece, but more a WW2 'inspired' piece. The sooner that people understand this, the sooner we'll all be having fun. The devs didn't deserve the hate they initially got.
Just buy Post scriptum. Actual emersive teamwork based WWII game. With the best effects I've ever seen in any game. I'ts still in early acces but a ton of fun!
Typically i get asked the same question. I tend to look for movement rather than individual silouettes. Also the more you learn the map the better this works.

This game seems to reward tactical game play compared to the past installments. Almost has a COD 2/COD UO flow. The removal of spot spamming was overdue. Can actually flank people and get the drop on them now.
I was def an abuser of the spot spamming.. it's still rather hard to pull flanks off without suppressors. I've pulled off multiple flanks, get 2 or 3 kills, and get gunned down by the rest of their team.
@@mrbeaner90 Not really, how can you flank when the scout sitting at the back of the map managed to mark you and then everyone can see you on the map? Flanks could be done but people spamming the spotting made it harder to go unnoticed
Revisited this one when the mode was available on 2042 portal. In hindsight BFV had a lot of soul at times, just look at all the details... This match certainly was brilliant to watch. Must have been quite a ride when you played it back in the days. And the soundtrack in the end is just beautiful.
That was the best of Battlefield Jack. Really intense and tactical for BF. I would love to see more hardcore ptfo stuff. You get it once every few days on conquest where everyone is on the same level and the server is just a pleasure to be on. No cheapshot campers, or players camping spawn in tanks, everyone has a bash and in general are of the same skillset making for round after round of great fun.

Just tried the game with the 10hr trial this game is amazing the gameplay is so much better top to bottom. The guns are great, ttk feels perfect, the way your soldier moves from diving, sliding, prone on your back, running while crouched is awesome, the destruction looks much better, maps are great so far haven't played one I didn't like yet just all around this game is much improved n fun to play great job Dice
God, I love watching your gameplay. Watching this more fun than watching a lot of current movies. If you could please post more of this type of live gameplay. It doesn't matter if it is as epic as this match, just hearing you play a normal match live, is great fun. Also, it would be amazing if you could just load more completely raw gameplay, maybe on a second channel, the ones of us that like that cannot catch you streaming, can still watch raw gameplay.
Realistically, the game looks and feels great with the only major downside being too many female voices atm. The majority of dislikes for the game right now are just salty kids who cant ask their grandma for $60 til Christmas.
I think people are just playing women alot right now because it was the main controversy and now we can actually play as women in the beta so people are just going with that for now.

what strikes you as "proper?" Everyone having automatics? Everyone having HOLO/reflect sights? Everyone beeing girls? This is just quake arena with prettier graphics, so much twitch shooting etc. This is why Pubg is still so popular, slower paced gameplay with more risk not just run and gun

This is just quake arena with prettier graphics, so much twitch shooting etc. This is why Pubg is still so popular, slower paced gameplay with more risk not just run and gun

Very nice gameplay! I still find very lame those hollographic sights for WWII like serious wtf, lack of recoil and 90% people using full auto while in real life it was more like 90% on bolt-actions...

This game looks like a solid first person shooter after watching loads of videos but I still have no interest in it for some reason, just looks boring and bland to me, maybe it’s one of those fun to play but boring to watch games
